Abstract

ABSTRACT Continuously high blood pressure can cause serious complications, so that patients can experience anxiety because the various illnesses they suffer do not go away and even get worse, so that the hope for recovery is very thin, moreover, the pessimism of the hypertension victims makes these sufferers feel anxious. and give in to the situation. To overcome the patient's anxiety so that it does not worsen, the patient is expected to always be in a relaxed state and surrender to God for the illness he is suffering from, this can be done with SEFT relaxation therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of SEFT therapy on reducing anxiety in hypertension sufferers in the Tigo Baleh Public Health Center, Bukittinggi City in 2021. This study was a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental design that was One Group Pretest-Posttest. The population in this study were all patients with hypertension in the working area of the Tigo Baleh Health Center, Bukittingi City with a total sample of 27 people. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of SEFT therapy on reducing anxiety in patients with hypertension in the working area of Tigo Baleh Public Health Center, Bukittinggi City with p = 0.000 (p <0.05). It can be concluded that there is an effect of SEFT therapy on reducing anxiety in hypertension sufferers in the working area of Tigo Baleh Public Health Center, Bukittinggi City. In this study, it is recommended for Puskesmas nurses to be able to apply SEFT therapy to hypertensive patients to reduce anxiety. Keywords: Hypertension, SEFT, Anxiety              ABSTRAK Tingginya tekanan darah secara terus menerus dapat menimbulkan komplikasi yang serius, sehingga pasien bisa mengalami kecemasan karena berbagai penyakit yang diderita tidak kunjung sembuh bahkan semakin memburuk, sehingga harapan untuk sembuh menjadi sangat tipis, terlebih lagi rasa pesimistis dari para korban hipertensi menjadi penderita tersebut merasa cemas dan menyerah dengan keadaan. Untuk mengatasi kecemasan pasien agar tidak memburuk, penderita diharapkan selalu dalam keadaan rileks dan berserah diri kepada Allah terhadap penyakit yang diderita, hal ini bisa dilakukan dengan Terapi relaksasi SEFT. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh terapi SEFT Terhadap Penurunan Kecemasan Pada Penderita Hipertensi Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tigo Baleh  Kota Bukittinggi Tahun 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain quasi eeksperimental yang bersifat One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh penderita Hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tigo Baleh Kota Bukittingi dengan jumlah Sampel 27 orang. Hasil penelitian menunnjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh terapi SEFT terhadap penurunan kecemasan penderita Hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tigo Baleh Kota Bukittinggi dengan p=0,000 (p<0,05). Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh terapi SEFT terhadap penurunan kecemasan penderita Hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tigo Baleh Kota Bukittinggi. Dalam penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada Perawat Puskesmas untuk dapat menerapkan terapi SEFT kepada pasien hipertensi untuk menurunkan kecemasan. Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, SEFT, Kecemasan

Abstract

Disability in post-stroke clients in the form of decreased function of the extremities, such as the presence of hemiparesis in the extremities. The disability experienced by stroke patients triggers the emergence of stress to depression due to the patient's inability to meet internal and external demands. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between disability in post-stroke patients and the level of depression in the elderly at the Brain Hospital DR. Drs. M. Hatta Bukittinggi in 2021. This type of research is descriptive correlation with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were elderly post-stroke patients who were outpatient with a sample of 81 people using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument of this study used the Barthel Index and GDS questionnaires. The test used is Spearman rank. The results showed that almost half of the elderly post-stroke patients had disabilities in the independent category (44.4%), some of the elderly post-stroke experienced mild and normal (39.5%), obtained p-value = 0.000 < (0.05) and value of r = 0.639. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between disability in post-stroke patients and the level of depression in the elderly at the Brain Hospital DR. Drs. M. Hatta Bukittinggi in 2021, which shows a strong and statistically significant relationship between disability in post-stroke patients and the level of depression in the elderly. Suggestions to nurses in hospitals, can be used as input for developing nursing knowledge, so nurses can improve the quality of services in providing nursing care, especially for elderly patients with post-stroke disabilities.
