Abstract

Current phenomena and facts that often occur are missing or accidents occur among mountain climbers, so that it becomes a major problem that needs to be evaluated in depth. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of interpersonal relationships Closeness, Co-orientation and Complementarity in mountain climbing sports. This study uses a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews. The subject of the study was the participants of climbing with AOPGI West Java on Mount Ciremay 3,078 masl in May 2021, totaling 54 people. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling by selecting experienced climbers who had climbed mountains above 3,000 meters above sea level 10 times, as many as 7 people were interviewed in this study. The results of the interview show that the role of the relationship in mountaineering is very necessary for closeness (closeness), Co-orientation (joint orientation) and Complementarity (complementary) to achieve success, safety and benefits from mountaineering. In the absence of a relationship, mountaineering becomes unpleasant, invites accidents and does not benefit from mountaineering.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of outdoor education activities on student creativity. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a static group comparison design. The sample in this study were PGSD Physical Education students using a purposive sampling technique, totalling 40 students, namely 20 students who did outdoor education activities and 20 students who did not do outdoor education activities. The research instrument was a creativity questionnaire which was analyzed with the statistical technique of the Two-Average Equivalence Test with the treatment of outdoor education activities given six days in 2 weeks. Based on the data analysis, the hypothesis is accepted, which means that outdoor education activities have a significant effect on student creativity. This study concludes that outdoor education activities have a significant positive impact on student creativity. Outdoor education activities can be a good alternative in learning to increase creativity and other cognitive components.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the development of 21st century skills in the field of sports and youth. The researcher analyzed articles about 21st century skills related to sports and youth and how sports and youth activists are in the face of challenges and opportunities in today's modern digital era. The type of research used is meta-analysis based on literature review data. The researcher uses the Harzing Publish or Parist application where the researcher selects data sources from Google Schoolar, Science Direct, Scopus by entering the keywords 21st century skills, youth and sports with a time range from 2010 to 2023. From 100 existing articles the researcher selects again into 20 articles. the most supportive and related to 21st century skills in the field of youth and sports

Abstract

Background Problems: Adolescents face various social challenges, such as the need to succeed in a competitive environment, cope with stress, face a global pandemic, and must develop in the future as adults. Research Objectives: The purpose of this research is to create an outdoor program integrated with PYD and 21st century skills that form a generation of young people who are resilient and ready to face global challenges. Methods: The method used in this study was the quasi-experimental design research method. The design used in this study was Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design With More Than One Experimental Group. The research instrument to measure 21st century skills is the 21st century skills questionnaire, and to measure positive youth development (PYD) using the PYD 7Cs questionnaire. Findings and Results: There was a significant difference in the effect of the outdoor education program of PYD integration with the control group with a calculated f value of 17,993 and a sig value of 0.000. Similarly, there are differences between the 21st century skill integration group and the control group with a calculated f value of 15.579 and a sig value of 0.000. Conclusion: The results show that outdoor education that integrates PYD and 21st century skills has a better impact so that youth have excess energy if not channelled into positive activities. Youth needs in outdoor education activities are still an attractive choice. In the 21st century, outdoor education activities become meaningful learning with the condition that there is an integration concept both in 21st century skills and positive youth development.
