Abstract

Berdasarkan Surat Edaran Dirjen PAUD Dasmen No 0759/C/HK.04.01/2023 tentang Penguatan Transisi PAUD_SD  mempersyaratkan forum komunikasi antara guru sebagai sarana pembelajaran mengenai konsep pendidikan anak usia   dini yang holistik dan integratif. Fakta empirik di kecamatan Bajubang Kabupaten Batanghari menunjukkan bahwa forum komunikasi guru yang sudah terbentuk belum berjalan disebabkan perbedaan cara pandang maupun cara bekerja antar guru. Berdasarkan temuan ini, prodi PIAUD Universitas Islam Batanghari berupaya mensukseskan program pemerintah melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk bimbingan teknis untuk mengaktivasi program kolaborasi sebagai wadah keterlibatan bersama antar guru. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 50 guru terdiri atas 30 guru SD kelas rendah dan 20 guru PAUD di Kecamatan Bajubang kabupaten Batang hari menggunakan pendekatan ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) yaitu perbaikan yang dilakukan melalui penggalian kekuatan dan kompetensi peserta sendiri. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan kolaborasi dan peran guru dalam mewujudkan keselarasan praktik pembelajaran mengacu pada 4 arah pendampingan, yaitu: a) Mendorong partisipasi aktif guru dalam mengidentifikasi masalah, perencanaan program, dan melaksanakan program transisi PAUD SD; b) Menempatkan guru sebagai pelaku aktif dari program, serta peran aktif dinas terkait; c) Menguatkan potensi guru melalui jejaring kerja sama dengan instansi terkait; d) Mendampingi guru menyelesaikan masalahnya melalui koordinasi lewat Focus Group Discussion disertai dengan praktik. Hasil menunjukkan penyatuan persepsi antara guru tentang cara belajar serta prinsip pembelajaran anak usia dini. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan skor yang signifikan antara nilai pre test dan post test peserta serta kemampuan guru melakukan praktek persiapan kegiatan MPLS bagi siswa.

Abstract

The concept of 'Merdeka bermain' has revolutionized the role of educators, shifting them from the traditional center of learning to facilitators of play-based learning. It emphasizes the pivotal role of play environments in nurturing children's curiosity and engagement. In this framework, preschool (PAUD) teachers function primarily as motivators and facilitators, creating rich and enticing play environments that encourage exploration. To enhance PAUD teachers' competency in 'merdeka bermain,' a service initiative was initiated. It aimed at achieving three key objectives: 1) Enhancing PAUD teachers' comprehension of 'merdeka bermain' and the eight essential indicators in early childhood education. 2) Developing their capacity as motivators and facilitators in the learning process. 3) Strengthening their ability to implement free play-based learning by harnessing local resources. The service activities employed training, technical guidance, and mentoring. Outcomes included improved understanding of 'merdeka bermain,' enhanced motivational and facilitation skills, and a better grasp of incorporating local resources into play-based learning. Constraints included time and funding limitations. Future efforts aim to provide further support to PAUD teachers in Maro Sebo Ulu Sub-district, promoting comprehensive implementation of the eight key indicators, creative game design, optimal utilization of the environment as a learning resource, and precision in assessment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the availability of active playing facilities on the physical literacy of children aged 5-6 years who are currently undergoing education at ECE (Early Childhood Education) centers in three sub-districts of Jambi City, Jambi Province. This study uses a comparative quantitative approach with ex-post facto techniques. The samples were determined using a convenience sampling technique involving 100 children in five PAUD institutions. Data collection was carried out through direct observation with data analysis using the F test and Tukey test. The results showed that there were differences in the level of physical literacy between groups of children in institutions with the availability of complete active play facilities compared to groups of children in institutions with incomplete availability of active play facilities.
