Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang persepsi siswa tentang perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA3 SMA N 2 Ujungbatu yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat korelasi positif antara perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa ditunjukkan nilai rtabel<rhitung, 0,374 < 0,99 dengan persamaan regresi Y = 60,95 + 0,225 X dengan arah koefisien regresi linier = 0,43 bertanda positif. Perhatian orang tua berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas XI MIA3 SMA N 2 Ujungbatu dari segi indikator pengawasan belajar anak sebesar 34,06% dan sisanya dipengaruhi indikator lain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability and cognitive criteria for students in physics learning using model Advance Organizer base on Mind Map. This research method is a quasi-experimental research conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Rambah hilir class X MIA . The sampling technique that is done is saturated sampling. After learning model Advance base on Organizer Mind Map is applied, the cognitive abilities of students has increased. It is shown from the results of student learning is the lowest gain value is 0.667 (medium criterion) and the highest gain value of 0.8 (high criteria) . While the criteria of students cognitive abilities of the average value in the classical style in the entire series is 0.712 (high criteria)

Abstract

This research was discuss about the influence of jigsaw cooperative learning model to student motivation. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Ujungbatu in class X MIA 1. The purpose of this research to determine the effect of jigsaw learning model to student motivation. The instrument of this research is motivation questionship. Based on calculated using the data obtained by the correlation obtained that rvalue = 0.987 while rtable value = 0.316. Best on explanation above it can be concluded that rvalue is bigger that rtable (rhitung>rtabel), at the 5% significance level. It can be concluded that there are significant jigsaw cooperative learning model to motivate students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Ujungbatu

Abstract

This study examines the influence of the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model on the cognitive learning outcomes of Physics students in Class X of SMAN 3 Rambah Hilir. This research is a pre-experimental study with a quantitative descriptive approach using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The study was conducted in Class X-2 of SMAN 3 Rambah Hilir, focusing on temperature and heat during April in the even semester of the academic year 2014/2015. The sample consisted of 22 students from Class X-2 of SMAN 3 Rambah Hilir, selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a Physics learning outcomes test. Based on the data obtained from the pretest and posttest, where the students' pretest average score was 40.3, and the posttest average score was 82.4, the magnitude of the influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes in Physics was assessed using the N-gain test, which fell within the high criteria with an average N-gain value of 0.70. The impact of the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model was observed through the achievement of learning objectives. Before the treatment, only 2 out of 15 learning objectives were achieved by students, with a classical mastery level of 13.3%. However, after applying the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model, 13 out of 15 learning objectives were achieved, with a classical mastery level of 86.7%. This result indicates a significant influence of the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model. Based on the research findings, there is an influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes in Physics when using the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model.
