Abstract

Character education is the initial foundation needed in building a nation. Therefore, schools have an obligation to be committed to building the nation's character. In this case, of course, there are many challenges that need to be faced, one of which is the development of technology and information as a result of globalization. Modern lifestyles that influence attitudes and behavior unwittingly deviate from the values ​​and noble values ​​of the Indonesian nation. This study is to describe the character values ​​developed in SDN 0605 Simanuldang in the implementation of character education and the obstacles in implementing character education in SDN 0605 Simanuldang. This type of research is descriptive using a quantitative approach. The data collection method used in this study was interviews. The data analysis used is collecting data, reducing data, then presenting it to draw conclusions. The results showed that the character values ​​developed at SDN 0605 Simanuldang consisted of 13 characters, namely religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined, democratic, national spirit, love for the homeland, appreciating achievement, friendly, fond of reading, caring for the environment, social care, and responsibility. answer. Implementation of character education through the learning process, school rules and extracurricular implementation. There are obstacles in implementing character education at SDN 0605 Simanuldang, namely digital games, unfavorable house boundaries, the influence of TV viewing, and lack of understanding of student character.

Abstract

Manajemen peningkatan kinerja guru adalah proses manajemen kinerja yang dapat dilihat sebagai suatu rangkaian aktivitas yang dilakukan secara berurutan agar dapat mencapai hasil yang diharapkan serta adanya proses komunikasi yang aktif dan berkelanjutan antara atasan dan bawahan. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan adanya manajemen peningkatan kinerja guru di lembaga pendidikan yang bersangkutan dengan wewenang dan tanggung jawab untuk mencapai tujuan kelembagaan yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu guru perlu meningkatkan standar pendidikan karena pengetahuan keterampilan dan pengalaman serta mengevaluasi kinerja dengan memperhatikan perencanaan kinerja, monitoring dan evaluasi kinerja, guna membuktikan hal tersebut maka diperlukan studi kasus penelitian lebih lanjut, untuk itulah peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai manajemen peningkatan kinerja guru. Tekhnik pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan pengumpulan data dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi kinerja guru berjalan secara efektif. Namun berdasarkan pengelolaannya ada masalah yang ditemukan dalam manajemen peningkatan kinerja guru ini.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, there is a lot of competition from various schools or madrasas, to offer the best quality from their institutions. This can be seen from the various forms of promotion and strategy, moreover educational institutions with a private background are certainly required to have higher quality and competitiveness compared to other educational institutions, especially those with a state label. This research in general, aims to describe (1) how the recruitment of students is carried out at Karya Bunda Middle School (2) What is the strategy used by Karya Bunda Middle School in recruiting new students (3) What are the obstacles faced by the school in the student recruitment process at Karya Bunda Middle School. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were the principal, educators, students, education staff, and two students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data validation techniques with research extension, increased persistence, and triangulation. The results of this study indicate (1) the implementation of student recruitment with technical instructions from the Education Office, the recruitment process does not have selection and applicant tests only need to pay administrative costs and have actually passed SD (2) The strategy used in recruiting students is a promotion strategy, namely a strategy from door to door, distributing brochures and placing advertisements on social media, visiting SD/MI, community activities, and working with students (3) in the process constraints the recruitment of these students is due to limited classroom space, unable to compete with the country and less desirable.
