Abstract

In the current era of globalization, there is a lot of competition from various schools or madrasas, to offer the best quality from their institutions. This can be seen from the various forms of promotion and strategy, moreover educational institutions with a private background are certainly required to have higher quality and competitiveness compared to other educational institutions, especially those with a state label. This research in general, aims to describe (1) how the recruitment of students is carried out at Karya Bunda Middle School (2) What is the strategy used by Karya Bunda Middle School in recruiting new students (3) What are the obstacles faced by the school in the student recruitment process at Karya Bunda Middle School. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were the principal, educators, students, education staff, and two students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data validation techniques with research extension, increased persistence, and triangulation. The results of this study indicate (1) the implementation of student recruitment with technical instructions from the Education Office, the recruitment process does not have selection and applicant tests only need to pay administrative costs and have actually passed SD (2) The strategy used in recruiting students is a promotion strategy, namely a strategy from door to door, distributing brochures and placing advertisements on social media, visiting SD/MI, community activities, and working with students (3) in the process constraints the recruitment of these students is due to limited classroom space, unable to compete with the country and less desirable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan karakter kreatif pada siswa di SMAS Mamiyai Al-Ittihadiyah. Kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang kondusif bagi pengembangan kreativitas siswa. Dalam konteks ini, kreativitas tidak hanya dilihat sebagai kemampuan menghasilkan ide-ide baru, tetapi juga sebagai kemampuan untuk berpikir kritis dan memecahkan masalah secara inovatif. Metodologi Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan sumber informasi kepala sekolah, guru dan Tu di SMAS Mamiyai Al-Ittihadiyah, Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah yang memiliki kompetensi manajerial yang baik mampu menciptakan visi dan misi sekolah yang mendukung pengembangan kreativitas siswa. Kepala sekolah juga mampu mengimplementasikan program-program yang inovatif, seperti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis proyek dan pelatihan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam mengembangkan karakter kreatif pada siswa. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi kepala sekolah dalam manajemen pendidikan yang berfokus pada pengembangan kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengimplementasian analisis SWOT di sekolah. Kemudian, bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, ancaman dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitataif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan data. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, dan salah satu guru yang ada di SMP Swasta An-Nizam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis SWOT telah diimplementasikan di sekolah, namun belum maksimal. Faktor yang mendukung implementasi analisis SWOT adalah adanya komitmen dari pimpinan sekolah, guru, dan staf, serta partisipasi aktif dari orang tua dan masyarakat. Faktor yang menghambat implementasi analisis SWOT adalah kurangnya pemahaman tentang analisis SWOT, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan kesibukan guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa implementasi analisis SWOT dalam perencanaan peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Rekomendasi yang diajukan adalah perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang analisis SWOT kepada seluruh pemangku kepentingan sekolah, perlu dialokasikan sumber daya yang memadai untuk mendukung implementasi analisis SWOT, dan perlu dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi secara berkala terhadap implementasi analisis SWOT.

Abstract

Research on the influence of the Team Quiz learning strategy on student learning outcomes aims to describe the learning outcomes of class VII MTS Islamic Education Development Foundation (YAPDI) Medan and describe the influence of the Team Quiz learning model on student learning outcomes. This research uses quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant effect of using the Team Quiz learning model on student learning outcomes in the History subject in class VII MTs Islamic Education Development Foundation. Apart from that, looking at the average scores that have been obtained, it is known that students who study using the Team Quiz model have good learning outcomes with scores compared to students who study using the conventional model.

Abstract

The background of this study focuses on the importance of educational supervision in improving the quality of learning and graduates in secondary schools. An effective supervision system can play an important role in improving the quality of teaching and responsiveness to students' learning needs. This study aims to examine the pattern of educational supervision applied in private secondary schools, with a focus on collaboration between supervisors and teachers to improve the quality of learning. The approach used is qualitative research with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews with supervisors and teachers, direct observations in class, and analysis of documentation related to supervision activities. The results of the study indicate that supervision is carried out through classroom observations, weekly evaluations, and reflective discussions between supervisors and teachers. Follow-up to the results of supervision, such as improvement planning and implementation of remedial strategies, has proven effective in improving the quality of learning and student understanding. The implication of this study is the importance of a collaborative approach in supervision that allows teachers and supervisors to work together to improve teaching methods. This study contributes to the development of a collaboration-based educational supervision model. The limitations of this study lie in the limited scope of one school, so further research with a wider scope is needed to generalize these findings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses perencanaan pelaksanaan kebijakan-kebijakan yang diambil yang diambil sekolah SMP IT Nurul Ilmi dalam menerima peserta didik berkebutuhan Khusus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tekni analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan data. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Wali kelas IX, Tata Usaha, Guru Pendamping Khusus (GPK) yang ada di SMP IT Nurul Ilmi. Hasil penelitian ini, mengungkapkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan penerimaan peserta didik baru khususnya anak berkebutuhan khusus sekolah  mengidentifikasi anak berkebutuhan khusus melalui tes psikologi, dengan tes psikologi ini tenaga pendidik dapat mengetahui keterbatasan apa yang dimiliki setiap anak sehingga tenaga pendidik dapat memberikan metode pengajaran yang sesuai, dan kebijiakan yang dibuat sekolah SMP IT Nurul Ilmi adalah setiap anak yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus, orang tua harus memiliki guru pendamping khusus (GPK)/shadow yang akan membantu guru dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

This study aims to analysis the classroom mapping process for new students as a strategy to create a conducive, inclusive, and effective learning environment. The process considers not only academic ability but also students’ social, emotional, and Quran reading and memorization skills—reflecting the integration of general and religious education values. This descriptive qualitative study employed in-depth interviews, document analysis, and observation. Informants included the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and teachers directly involved in the mapping process. Findings show that classroom mapping is conducted collaboratively and regularly. A key strength of the school is the inclusion of Quran reading and memorization assessments as part of the criteria. This approach not only ensures more accurate class placement but also serves as a foundation for designing teaching strategies that are tailored to the individual needs and potential of each student.
