Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the description of Social Studies lesson content by applying the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model for Class V students; description of social studies learning outcomes with the application of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model for Class V students; and the effect of the application of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model on character formation based on local wisdom values (Mattabe) and social studies learning outcomes for Class V students. This type of research is quantitative, descriptive inferential in this study given certain treatment, namely control class and experimental class. The sample in this study is part of the population with the sampling technique is random sampling. The data collection method used is a character building questionnaire based on local wisdom values (mattabe) and a multiple choice test for student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is the first by using a descriptive statistical approach, prerequisite test, and Manova hypothesis testing. The results of the study, test the hypothesis using manova, with a sig value. is 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, that is, there is a significant effect on the application of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model to Character Building based on local wisdom values (Mattabe) and social studies learning outcomes for Class V students

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to collect, process, and present accurate data or information on the significant effect of applying the project based learning model in social studies learning on the creative thinking skills of students at SDN 55 Pamanjengan, Moncongloe Village, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency; and the significant effect of applying the project based learning learning model in social studies learning on students' social studies learning interest. This type of research is survey research with quasi-experimental techniques. The research population was all students of SDN 55 Pamanjengan, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency after the 2021/2022 school year with a total of 321 people with a sampling technique of 54 people according to the characteristics of experimental research using an experimental class and a control class. The results showed that the probability value of planting the concept (pretest-posttest experimental group) was 0.000 <0.05. The probability value of social studies interest (pretest-posttest experimental group) is 0.000 <0.05. The probability value of planting the concept (posttest control-experiment group) is 0.05 = 0.05. The probability value of interest in learning social studies (posttest control-experiment group) is 0.000 <0.05. so it can be understood that H0 in hypothesis 1 is rejected then Ho is rejected H1 is accepted. Likewise, H0 in hypothesis 2 is rejected, then Ho is rejected, H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that there is an influence of project-based learning (PBP) on the ability to think creatively in students of SDN 55 Pamanjengan, Moncongloe Village, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency. In addition, there is also the effect of project-based learning (PBP) on the interest in learning social studies students at SDN 55 Pamanjengan, Moncongloe Village, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of supervision, principal managerial as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of elementary school teacher discipline on the geometry material content. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative type. This research was conducted in schools. The subjects in this study were the Principal and Teachers. Data collection techniques using observation and interview techniques. The data analysis technique uses the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model which consists of data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation of methods and theoretical. Based on the results of the research and discussion obtained, the conclusions in this study are: Implementation of Academic and Managerial Supervision of School Principals on Teacher Discipline. Principals and teachers carry out academic supervision when learning refers to aspects, namely: planning, implementation, and feedback. The planning process begins with the coordination of the supervision team, namely the principal, communication of objectives, and administrative preparation. Academic supervision is carried out through assessments by principals and teachers. Feedback is given in the form of discussions and awards for outstanding teachers. Aspects of assessment in the supervision and managerial of the principal include learning management, learning innovation, and attitudes and behavior. The process of implementing academic supervision during learning includes the planning, implementation and evaluation processes to foster teacher discipline towards school administration and responsibilities as teachers
