Abstract

Geography in Indonesia is now specialized, so geography is considered a part of science with physical and human aspects. This idea leads researchers to confine themselves to the auxiliary sciences of geography and often cuts other branches of science. Geology is often considered a science if it is not recognized by other scientists that the existence of geography in the future will be threatened. This study aims to explain human geography from the perspective of philosophy of science which includes ontology, epistemology and axiology of human geography. The ontology of human geography is part of the science of geography. The methods used in the landscape are complex in terms of geography, environment  and  geography. Epistemologically, human geography uses qualitative and quantitative methods based on extensive research. Axiologically, the existence of human geography is very important because it supports the development.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are one of the hallmarks of this nation's education. Islamic boarding schools have a role related to the philosophy of life. As the oldest education in Indonesia, Islamic boarding schools have at least five pillars, namely Kyai, Santri, Mosque, Al Qur'an and Hadith. There are several aspects that must be strengthened in Islamic boarding schools, namely adab, fardu ain science, fardu kifayah science, administration, networking and so on. Education in Islamic boarding schools is very influential with the surrounding community. The purpose of education in Islamic boarding schools is to educate a person to become an independent person, have good morals, and become someone who is khaira ummah. Regarding the education that is applied in Islamic boarding schools, it can be seen from one of the most frequently encountered principles, namely the principle of non-contradiction. Islamic boarding schools study the science and works of both classical and contemporary scholars in the form of yellow books. And the yellow book is a work that was born from Islamic scholars who sourced from the Koran and Hadith. This principle is based on distinguishing what is right and what is wrong. It is impossible to contradict the Al-Qur'an and hadith which are the main study material in Islamic boarding schools, because both are true sources of Islamic teachings. If someone says the Qur'an and hadith contradict, then it is due to a lack of knowledge in studying and studying them

Abstract

Knowledge is essentially all that we know about a particular object including knowledge, attitudes, types of knowledge have specific characteristics about what (ontology) and how (epistemology). Therefore, the author makes an educational game based on the Android operating system in the hope that students can directly use the game application and gain more knowledge and change learning patterns so they don't get bored and bored. This educational game is a learning application for children aged 6 to 12 years which contains subject matter about animals, coloring, doodling, singing and the alphabet. The research and development method for this educational application is the Waterfall method which consists of five stages, namely Requirement, Design, Implementation, Verification, and Maintenance. By applying the results of this educational game, it is hoped that it can help children learn and can improve their creative mindset and add more advanced knowledge
