Abstract

Background : Uterine involution during the puerperium must go well so efforts are needed to accelerate uterine involution, one of which is consuming sweet potato leaves. Sweet potato leaves have nutrients that can help mothers reduce involution more quickly, and can also increase milk production. An increase in the hormone oxytocin can reduce the height of the uterine fundus. Objective : Knowing the effect of giving sweet potato leaves to reduce uterine involution in postpartum women at the Sifra Langowan maternity clinic. Methods : This research usesQuasi-experimental design with a plan one-group pretest – posttest design. The sample of this research was postpartum mothers from the 1st to the 7th day as many as 15 respondents, determined by means purposive sampling. Data was collected using an observation sheet which contained a number of indicators for evaluating decreased uterine involution in writing which were filled in before and after the intervention was given. Data analysis used the Paired Sample T-Test. Results : Test results Paired sample T-Test There is an effect of sweet potato leaves on reducing uterine involution in postpartum women at the Sifra Langowan maternity clinic. recommendations for postpartum mothers to consume sweet potato leaves regularly during the postpartum period to help reduce uterine involution

Abstract

Introduction: One of the problems often experienced by children related to the fulfillment of nutrition that has a negative impact on child growth and development is stunting. This study aims to analyze the effect of Tinutuan Tinu Key complementary feeding on the nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months. Methods: This experimental study without a control group was conducted in Wori Village, North Minahasa Regency. The study population was all babies born to pregnant women who were respondents in the first year of the study , namely mothers who were pregnant throughout 2023, and continued in the second year, namely babies born at the end of 2023-2024, totaling 52 babies. The intervention was carried out for 14 days to the babies. Complementary foods were prepared by health cadres. Babies and mothers received assistance from health workers 14 times. The main variable in this study was the nutritional status of the baby Results: The results of the study showed that the average nutritional status of toddlers based on body length according to age before the intervention of providing complementary foods was 2.67%, and after intervention by 3.13% with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.004. Statistical analysis using paired sample t-test to see the difference in the average between the two samples and the results obtained p value <0.005 which means that the provision of MP-ASI there is a difference in the average body length before and after the intervention. Conclusion: The Tinutuan tinu key complementary feeding potentially affects the nutritional status of children during their growth period, if children's food intake is met properly, then the child's growth and development will be good and they will be free from nutritional problems

Abstract

Kerentanan anemia pada remaja putri terjadi karena proses kehilangan darah saat menstruasi.Remaja Putri yang menderita anemia berisiko mengalami anemia jugasaat hamil, yang berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan janin dalam kandungan serta berpotensi menimbulkan komplikasi kehamilan dan persalinan, ahkan menyebabkan kematian ibu dan anak. Tujuan : Remaja sehat Bebas Anemia merupakan investasi masa depan bangsa. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di desa Passi Kecamatan Passi Barat Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow yang dilakukan pada tanggal 4 – 5 Agustus 2022. Peserta berjumlah 20 orang remaja putri yang dipilih secara acak. Peserta diberikan materi pelatihan dan melakukan pre test di awal dan diakhir pelatihan dilakukan post tes. Sedangkan analisis pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah univariate dan bivariat. Hasilnya pengetahuan gizi yang kurang 90 % menjadi cukup 75 % dan baik 15 %, pengetahuan tentang anemia kurang 55 % menjadi cukup 35 % dan baik 55 %, Sikap kurang 100 % menjadi cukup 25 % dan baik 75 %, peran orang tua kurang 100 % menjadi cukup dan baik 50%, media kurang 100 % menjadi cukup 55 % dan baik 45 %. Hasil uji parametrik (paried t test) nilai signifikan P value = 0,000 (<0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan materi. Remaja perempuan mempunyai risiko yang jauh lebih besar untuk terkena anemia dibandingkan lakilaki.Kebiasaan Sarapan pagi merupakan faktor yang menentukan untuk remaja mendapatkan asupan yang baik sebagai bekal aktivitas sehari-hari sehingga terhindar dari anemia.Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa dengan pemberian materi pengetahuan tentang kejadian anemia pada remaja putri terdapat peningkatan yang baik dari semua materi yang diberikan dan secara uji statistik terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan materi. Kata Kunci: Anemia, Reproduksi, Remaja, Pengetahuan Gizi ABSTRACT The susceptibility of anemia in adolescent girls occurs due to the process of blood loss during menstruation. Rematri who suffer from anemia are at risk of experiencing anemia during pregnancy, which has an impact on the growth and development of the fetus in the womb and has the potential to cause complications in pregnancy and childbirth, even causing maternal and child mortality. Objectives: Anemia-free healthy youth is an investment in the nation's future. This community service was carried out in the village of Passi, West Passi District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency which was carried out on August 4-5, 2022. The participants were 20 young women who were chosen randomly. Participants were given training materials and conducted a pre-test at the beginning and at the end of the training a post-test was conducted. While the analysis on this community service is univariate and bivariate. The result is that the knowledge of nutrition that is less than 90% becomes sufficient 75% and good 15%, knowledge about anemia is less 55% to be sufficient 35% and good 55%, attitude is less than 100% to be sufficient 25% and good 75%, the role of parents is less 100% to be sufficient and good 50%, less media 100% to be sufficient 55% and good 45%. The results of the parametric test (paried t test) significant value P value = 0.000 (<0.05) which means that there is a significant difference in knowledge between before and after being given the material. Adolescent girls have a much greater risk of developing anemia than boys. Breakfast habits are a determining factor for adolescents to get a good intake as a provision for daily activities so as to avoid anemia. The results of community service show that by providing knowledge material about the incidence of anemia in young women there is a good increase in all the material provided and statistically there is a significant difference in knowledge between before and after being given the material.
