Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify how education, labor, and health  affect poverty in Bali. The information used includes information on the school participation rate (SPR) of the population aged 16 to 18 years, the number of workers, and the number of public health facilities. The data is annual, for the period 2000 – 2021 taken from the website of the Bali Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data was processed using the Eviews-10 application with the ECM-EG analysis method. The final results show (1) In the long run, only the Labor variable has a significant negative effect. Education and Health variables have a negative but not significant effect on poverty (2) In the short term, the variables of Education, Employment, and Health have a negative but not significant relationship in influencing poverty during the study period.

Abstract

Kualitas pelayanan kesehatan merupakan fokus utama bagi masyarakat. Kesadaran dan kepedulian terhadap mutu memang semakin meningkat. Hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan mutu antara lain kepercayaan bahwa sesuatu yang bermutu pastilah merupakan hal yang bersifat luks, mewah, dan mahal. Mutu juga dianggap sesuatu hal yang bersifat abstrak sehingga tidak dapat diukur. Keselamatan pasien dan mutu pelayanan kesehatan yang tinggi adalah tujuan akhir yang selalu diharapkan oleh rumah sakit, manajer, tim penyedia pelayanan kesehatan, pihak jaminan kesehatan, serta pasien, keluarga dan masyarakat. Dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pelayanan pasien dan menjamin keselamatan pasien maka rumah sakit perlu mempunyai program peningkatan mutu dan keselamatan pasien (PMKP) yang menjangkau ke seluruh unit kerja di rumah sakit. Untuk melaksanakan program tersebut tidaklah mudah karena memerlukan koordinasi dan komunikasi yang baik antara kepala bidang/divisi medis, keperawatan, penunjang medis, administrasi, dan lainnya termasuk kepala unit/departemen/instalasi pelayanan.Pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu tentunya akan memberikan dampak yang baik bagi masyarakat sebagai pengguna pelayanan kesehatan, petugas kesehatan sebagai pemberi pelayanan kesehatan, dan masyarakat secara umum. Rumah Sakit Jagakarsa sebagai salah satu fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan rujukan di Kota Jakarta Selatan yang penting bagi tenaga kesehatan untuk mengimplementasikan manajemen mutu dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Communication is an integral part of human life that allows the exchange of information, ideas and feelings between individuals. Social skills in communication have a major role in forming effective and meaningful interactions. In these situations, the use of polite words such as apologize, please, and thank you has proven to be an important element in creating healthy and harmonious social relations. This study aims to determine how far social skills are in communicating through polite characters, namely the use of the words sorry, please, and thank you. The research approach used was qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used observation and questionnaires as data collection instruments. Observation and questionnaire data analysis techniques and research subjects were active students of Social Studies Education at the Indonesian University of Education. The results of the study show that the character of politeness plays an important role in communicating with someone. In addition, politeness also makes a significant contribution in building empathy and solidarity between individuals. On the other hand, the use of the word thank you is considered as an expression of respect and appreciation for the efforts or assistance provided by others. This article provides further understanding of how important social skills are in communicating through the character of courtesy. The implications of this research can inspire individuals to pay more attention to the importance of social skills in everyday interactions.
