Abstract

Background: Atopic dermatitis is a chronic recurrent skin inflammation, characterized by itching, appearing at certain predilection sites, and associated with other atopic diseases. Its prevalence in Indonesia tends to increase every year. Objective: Implementing evidence-based family medicine services for patients by identifying risk factors, and clinical problems, and managing patients with a patient-centered and family-focused approach. Method: This case report obtained primary data through autoanamnesis, also anamnesis, physical examination, and home visits. A holistic diagnostic assessment is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. Result: The patient is a 69-year-old female with atopic dermatitis and asthma. She thought that her skin condition would improve by scratching and applying ointment. She was worried that the itching would get worse and disturb her sleep. She hopes her skin condition can improve. Patients and families had atopic history, advanced age, lack of knowledge about the disease, and exposure to allergens. Conclusion: Holistic diagnostic and comprehensive management of this patient was based on the latest theory and research. During the evaluation, there was a clinical improvement in the patient, an increase in knowledge, and a change in the behavior of the patient and family

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) remains as major health problem in the world and significantly increase every year. Family approach in the management of diabetes mellitus helps identify factors that influence clinical, personal and psychosocial family. This is a case report study. Primary data were collected by history taking (autoanamnesis and alloanamnesis of the family and patients), physical examination, examinations and home visits to assess the physical environment. Assessment is based on a holistic diagnosis from the start, process, and end of the study in a qualitative and quantitative manner. Patient complaints of tingling in both legs, weakness, frequent urination since one weeks ago, especially at night, besides that, they often feel thirsty and hungry easily. The patient's concern is that he has the same illness as his mother and younger siblings and the complaints will worsen which must be treated in a health facility. The patient's perception of the disease, the patient considers that this disease can be cured with drugs given by doctors without changing the patient's lifestyle Hope the patient can find out the disease and be treated so that complaints disappear so that patients can do activities as usual. Management of diabetes mellitus patients holistically and comprehensively, patient center, family approach with diabetes mellitus treatment according to EBM is needed in order to control blood sugar and change patient behavior to prevent acute and advanced complications.

Abstract

Kurang Energi Kronis (KEK) terjadi karena kurangnya asupan energi dan protein yang berlangsung menahun (kronis). Ibu hamil dengan KEK merupakan risiko tinggi terhadap gangguan kesehatan dan keberlangsungan hidup pada ibu dan janin. Tujuan dilakukannya studi ini untuk menerapkan prinsip pelayanan kedokteran keluarga dan melakukan penatalaksanaan secara holistik berdasarkan kerangka penyelesaian masalah pasien dengan pendekatan patient-centered, family focused, dan community oriented berbasis Evidence Based Medicine. Studi ini merupakan sebuah laporan kasus. Data primer diperoleh melalui anamnesis, pemeriksaan fisik dan kunjungan rumah untuk melengkapi data keluarga, data psikososial dan lingkungan. Data sekunder didapat dari rekam medis pasien. Penilaian berdasarkan diagnosis holistik dari awal, proses, dan akhir studi secara kualitiatif dan kuantitatif. Telah dilakukan penatalaksanaan holistik dengan pendekatan dokter keluarga Ny. E usia 35 tahun G3P2A0 hamil trimester 1 dengan KEK yang disesuaikan berdasarkan diagnostik holistik awal. Intervensi yang dilakukan telah menambah pengetahuan pasien dan keluarga mengenai pentingnya pola diet sesuai angka kebutuhan gizi sehari-hari dan peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai pola asuk anak yang optimum yang ditunjukkan dengan perbaikan pada diagnostik holistik akhir

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are chronic diseases that are not transmitted between individuals. The course of these diseases generally progresses slowly, influenced by a combination of genetic, physiological, environmental, and behavioral factors. This study aims to analyze the relationship between lifestyle, physical activity, and exercise and the incidence of NCDs. This study used a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted from August to September 2025 at the Ciloto Health Training Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The population in this study was all 159 employees, and a sample of 141 respondents was selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire with an r value in the range of 0.476-0.87 (valid) and a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.97 (reliable). Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results showed a relationship between lifestyle, physical activity, and exercise and the incidence of NCDs among BBPK Ciloto employees of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
