Abstract

This study aims to determine the practicality development of Project Based Learning worksheets. At the practicality stage, the LKPD with the project based learning model includes very practical criteria with an average percentage of 89.78% with details of the teacher response questionnaire 90.62% and the student response questionnaire 88.59%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the LKPD in collecting material and presenting data using the project based learning model meets very valid and very practical criteria to be used as one of the learning materials in learning mathematics, especially for fifth grade students in elementary schools. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 6 di UPT SDN 02 Silaut. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Sedangkan teknik analisis data digunakan melalui beberapa tahapan diantaranya pengumpulan data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam proses pembelajaran siswa cenderung bosan dan kurang tertarik dengan proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung lama karena metode yang digunakan hanya ceramah dan monoton sehingga siswa kurang motivasi dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan agar motivasi belajar siswa lebih meningkat yang ditandai dengan keaktifan siswa dalam proses tersebut. Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan pendekatan saintifik dan terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, antara lain mengamati, mengajukan pertanyaan, mengumpulkan informasi, menalar, dan mengomunikasikan. Melalui berbagai tahapan tersebut dapat meningkatkan keikutsertaan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas pengembangan LKPD dengan model Project Based Learning. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model penelitian 4-D yaitu define, design, development, dan disseminate. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi. LKPD divalidasi oleh satu orang ahli didaktik, isi dan tampilan dan satu orang ahli bahasa. Pada tahap validasi LKPD dengan model project based learning memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dengan persentase rata-rata 80,26 % dengan rincian pada aspek didaktik, isi dan tampilan 78.33 % dan aspek bahasa 87,5 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD pada materi pengumpulan dan penyajian data menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dan dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar.Kata Kunci: Validitas, LKPD, Project Based Learning

Abstract

To produce quality learning, good management is needed that can support the achievement of educational goals. In management at school, the principal has an important role. The principal serves as a motivator and supervisor of teachers so that they are able to modify the learning that is carried out at school. One of them is the use of technology as a learning medium that is able to facilitate teachers in teaching and provides opportunities for students to be creative according to their imagination. This research is to explore the use of Canva as a learning medium in elementary schools and to discuss the benefits and potential of using Canva in the learning process. The research was conducted using a descriptive descriptive approach with the results of the research namely obtaining information that the supporting factors in implementing Canva as a learning medium include: 1) Infrastructure that supports the presence of a number of chromebooks in schools. 2) Students have a high curiosity and passion for learning. 3) The Canva app is easy to use on PC and mobile devices. 4) Videos for learning can be seen repeatedly. Implementation of Canva as a learning medium in elementary schools has a positive impact on students, including students being able to understand material easily, students are more enthusiastic about learning, and being able to train students to be confident by presenting material through learning media .

Abstract

The KTSP curriculum included in the 2013 curriculum as a complement to the previous curriculum is expected to change the perspective of educators in managing, planning and developing learning in the classroom. IPS learning. Student learning activities are not focused on finding a concept but rather on memorizing it, and book-based learning does not foster critical thinking skills. Therefore we need a Problem Solving learning model as a learning model that can help. students develop their Higher-Order Thinking Skills. The purpose of this research is to ascertain how social studies teaching in elementary schools incorporates HOTS-oriented problem solving. Qualitative literature review was conducted as a research method. Documentation study is a data collection technique, and involves examining the contents of documents related to the research subject. This research can be used as a reference for elementary school teachers to implement learning in their classes. As a result, teachers can use it to overcome learning challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the increase in learning outcomes for class IV Technical Services Unit (TSU) Elementary School (ES) 02 Silaut students in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research method used is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 24 students of class IV TSU ES 02 Silaut. The research phase consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection methods are interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. Data collection instruments are used in the form of observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Before conducting classroom action research, namely, student learning outcomes in social studies class IV were low. The results showed that the learning outcomes for social studies content averaged 73 in the first cycle with 65% classical completeness, then increased in the second cycle with a significant increase to 82 and 85% classical completeness. While the indicator of success, namely 75%. So, it can be concluded that quartet learning media can improve student learning outcomes in Class IV TSU ES 02 Silaut.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the effectiveness of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Project Based Learning (PBL) in improving students' cooperation and scientific thinking skills in science subjects in elementary schools. Using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group, this research involved 60 fifth grade students who were divided into an experimental group (using PBL-based LKPD) and a control group (using conventional methods). Instrument is a questionnaire to measure cooperation and a written test to measure scientific thinking abilities. The results of the analysis show that the average student collaboration score in the experimental group was 85.3, higher than the control group which only reached 78.4. The average score for scientific thinking ability in the experimental group reached 82.7, compared to 75.6 in the control group. Data analysis using the independent t test, after fulfilling the assumptions of normality and homogeneity of variance, showed statistically significant differences with a p value < 0.05. Results indicate that the use of PBL-based LKPD is more effective in increasing students' cooperation and scientific thinking abilities compared to conventional methods. This research suggests a wider application of PBL in science learning in elementary schools to optimize students' collaborative and scientific thinking skills.
