Abstract

Listening skill is one of the important skills that every individual has. Listening skills are also part of increasing student literacy. However, in the learning process it will be difficult to improve these skills if students do not have an interest in learning. The purpose of classroom action research is to increase students' interest in learning and listening to stories through the Word Square learning model. This type of research is classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc Tanggart Model. Qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques with data collection techniques through observation and written tests. The research subjects were fifth grade students at UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 6, Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency. with the results of the study an average pre-cycle score of 53 (Low), cycle I 78 (Medium), and cycle II 98 (High). Shows the influence of the success of the Word Square learning method in increasing learning interest and story listening skills. Based on the results of these data it can be concluded that the use of the word square method can improve the listening skills of class V students at the UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 6, Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted with the aim of improving student learning outcomes in thematic learning PPKn content on Rights, Obligations and Responsibilities in the Community for Grade 5 SDN Banyuajuh 6, using the Talking Stick model during learning. This classroom action research was carried out for 2 cycles with the implementation of 1 cycle at one meeting. The stages of research include planning, implementation of action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study were tests (students' cognitive abilities) and non-tests (observation, documentation and field notes). While the data collection techniques using qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle. This can be seen from the results of the cognitive learning mastery of students in the Pre-Cycle of 55.28% increasing to 66.81% in Cycle I, then in Cycle II again increasing to 75.68%. In addition, as long as the Talking Stick Model is applied in learning, it is proven that there is an increase in student learning activities in a more positive direction. This can be seen from the results of observations of student activities which continued to increase from a score of 75 in the good and complete category during Cycle I, and during Cycle II the score increased to 85 in the good and complete category

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the application of character education to discipline and responsibility of students at SDN Banyuajuh 6, as well as to identify students' behavior in applying the character of discipline and responsibility. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research with a survey method. The sampling technique used a proportional stratified cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, questionnaires (questionnaire), and observation. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that the application of character discipline and student responsibility education at SDN Banyuaju 6 was carried out in a good proportion (96.5%). The results of the study show that the application of character education is integrated with self-development programs including spontaneous activities, routine activities, conditioning, and exemplary, integrated into the learning process, and school culture. the behavior of students who have applied the character of discipline in the moderate category (53.6%), as many as 15 students. On the other hand, student behavior in applying the character of responsibility is in the good percentage category (78.6%). Based on the research results, it is better if this character education is carried out in a sustainable manner and to improve one's own character. Another way is to give examples, appreciation, literacy activities, share inspirational experiences and so on

Abstract

One type of child intelligence is kinesthetic intelligence. Kinesthetic intelligence is a person's ability to control his movements or manage his body well. The teacher as an educator, has a role to be able to develop children's intelligence through their learning system, including this kinesthetic intelligence. The purpose of this research is to see the applicability of the problem-based learning model in training students' kinesthetic intelligence. The data collection method used is a literature study. The type of data used in this study is secondary data, namely data derived from relevant articles. The data obtained will be compiled, analyzed, and concluded so that conclusions can be drawn regarding the literature study. The application of this problem based learning learning model can lead to increased learning outcomes. This is based on the percentage increase in students who get the Completed interpretation. Because completeness is a benchmark in improving learning outcomes
