Abstract

Learning science using Group Discovery Learning (GDL) will help the learning process because this learning can train students to learn actively and independently in a learning process. The results of interviews with subject teachers showed that there are no modules, only LKS and a limited number of Package Books. Many students learning outcomes have not reached the KKM standard value. From the results of the interviews, researchers will develop a GDL-based module as a learning resource to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. This study aims to produce learning tools developed, namely GDL-based modules, to enhance students' cognitive values by using modules in class VII MTs Riyadlatul Ulum. This type of research is the development of a Science Learning Module based on Group Discovery Learning using the 4D development model, Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate, suggested by Thiagarajan and Sammel. The analysis results from the design expert test were 95%, the material expert test was 85%, and the student response test was 89%. The results of the discussion regarding the development of the module can be concluded that before the development of the completeness module, students were only 33%. Still, after using the module, the first meeting increased by 70% and to 87% at the second meeting. So the module development is feasible to be used and used as a science learning resource and can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce the products in the form of guided inquiry-based biology learning modules on cell bioprocessing materials that are suitable for use as teaching materials for high school of XI grade. The development of this module uses the R&D development model according to Sugiyono, which starts from searching for potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, product revision, trial use, product revision and mass production. The results of the development of guided inquiry-based biology modules from the aspects of design and media obtained a percentage of 80%, the results of the validation of the material aspects obtained a percentage of 93%, the results of validation from the subject teachers obtained a percentage of 89%, and the results of the response of students obtained a percentage of 85 %, and concluded an average percentage value of 86% with the criteria "Very Good". So it can be concluded that the module developed is feasible to be used as one of the reference teaching materials in biology learning on the subject matter of bioprocess cells in schools.

Abstract

The use of learning media helps an educator in the process of facilitating learning in class and helping students in the learning process. Media is an important element in improving learning process quality in class. The development research in this research was developed in the form of E-module teaching materials using potential and problem procedures, studying data, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The final result of the design expert gets an initial percentage value of 90% after revision gets 98%. The final results of the expert test obtained an initial percentage value of 94.77% after revision which is 97.31%. The final results of the small group trial obtained a percentage value of 86% with the criteria "good". Biology E-module products based on Problem-Based Learning are feasible to be used or tested on students.

Abstract

The aims of this study are 1) knowing the effect of MOL concentration of conch mas on cayenne pepper production and 2) knowing the concentration of MOL from conch mas is most optimal for cayenne pepper production. The study used a complete randomized design (RAL) and data analysis using a single-track ANAVA against cayenne pepper production. The study used 4 treatments (4% concentration, 7%, 10%, and 13%), 1 control, and 5 repeats. The results of the study showed that there is an effect of giving MOL and mol concentration of 7% conch mas is the most optimal for the production of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frustescens L.) with a yield of 2.5 kg of 1181 pieces higher than the three concentrate treatments tested. MOL consisting of a mixture of conch mas containing macronutrient protein 12.2 mg, Phosfor (P) 60 mg, potassium (K) 17 mg, as well as various other nutrients such as C, Mn, Cu, and Zn greatly affect the number of fruits/trees.
