Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation and influence between the Hypnoteaching method and the interest in reading story texts in MIN 1 Bogor students. The study is experimental research using the True experimental design model and a posttest-only control design approach. The analysis was carried out based on questionnaire data that was disseminated and interpreted through descriptive analysis and inferential analysis to describe the influence of the two research variables. The data obtained is processed through; 1) descriptive analysis to describe one of the variables with a percentage value. 2) Inferential statistical analysis is used to see correlations using the Product Moment formula. 3) Then, a differential test was carried out using t-test statistics to determine the effect. The results of this study showed that the results of the paired simple test using SPSS version 27 showed that the significance value was 0.001 < 0.05 which means that there was an average questionnaire about the interest in reading story texts using the Hypnoteaching intervention method. It can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of Hypnoteaching intervention methods on the interest in reading story texts in MIN 1 Bogor Regency students.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of production costs on the income of weaving craftsmen during the COVID-19 pandemic (a case study of Bira Village, Bonto Bahari District, Bulukumba Regency). This research area was a well-known weaving craftsman area in South Sulawesi with a total of weaving craftsmen in Bira Village, which has four hamlets, namely Pungkarese Hamlet, Birakeke Hamlet, Tanetang Hamlet, and Liukangloe Hamlet. In total, in the four hamlets, there were 105 weaving craftsmen, but in this research, the sample was carried out using a formula with an error limit of 10%, so that the sample used was 52 people. In terms of data collection for this research, method of observation, questionnaire technique, and documentation were used. This research was conducted from May to July 2022. The type of research method applied in this research was descriptive research using quantitative. The analytical method was demonstrated by describing the impact of production costs on the income of weaving craftsmen in Bira Village, Bonto Bahari District, Bulukumba Regency. This test was assisted by the programs (SPSS), Simple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient of Determination (R2), T-Test. The results of the hypothesis test proved that the results of a simple linear regression test obtained Y = 9.917 + 0.729x, means that the constant value was 9.917 with a regression coefficient of 0.729, indicating that the direction of the influence of the variable X on Y  was positive and the value sig0.000 <0,05, revealing that production costs have a significant effect on the income of weaving craftsmen during the COVID-19 pandemic in Bira Village, Bonto Bahari District, Bulukumba Regency. The influence of the raw material inventory control variable on the production process was 56.7%, while the remaining 43.3% was influenced by other objects

Abstract

Paddy (Oryza sativa L.) is the staple food for the Indonesian people, commonly processed into rice. Consumption of rice through the cooking process takes 30 to 40 minutes. With the relatively long preparation process, the idea of instant rice processing is the answer for a shorter rice preparation process. Instant rice processing can be done using the autoclaving-retrogradation method. This study aimed to determine the proximate profile of low glycemic index instant rice, including water, ash, protein, fat and carbohydrate content. The research method was carried out by varying the storage temperature (without cooling, cooling at 4 °C and freezing at -4 °C) and drying time (0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 hours). The proximate average yield of instant rice water content ranged from 60.43% to 10.61%; ash content 0.49% to 0.35%; protein content 9.61% to 7.70%; fat content 0.76% to 0.42% and carbohydrate content 77.27% to 75.19%. Thus, the short rehydration time indicates that the resulting product is included in instant food products because it takes less than 5 minutes to be consumed. In addition, reducing the glycemic index of rice can be done by retrograding starch to obtain resistant starch through a continued pressure cooking process by the cooling process. Reducing starch digestibility and glycemic index in rice through resistant starch formation can reduce the adverse effects of rice consumption as a staple food.
