Abstract

Berdasarkan data STR Global (2015), Pembangunan Hotel di Indonesia termasuk terbanyak kedua se-Asia Pasifik. Pembangunan yang terus menerus tanpa memikirkan dampak lingkungan mendatang akan merusak lingkungan. Jumlah hotel semakin hari semakin meningkat. Berdasarkan data statistik hotel dan tingkat penghunian kamar hotel DKI Jakarta (2014), jumlah hotel di DKI Jakarta pada tahun 2014 ada sebanyak 437 hotel, 35.48% adalah hotel bintang tiga, 22.12% hotel bintang dua, 19.82% hotel bintang empat, dan 10.60% hotel bintang satu. Jumlah Hotel bintang dan non bintang di Jakarta mengalami peningkatan sebesar 24.50% sejak tahun 2010-2014. Pembangunan industri pariwisata yang pesat dapat memberikan ancaman yang serius terhadap lingkungan dan sosial budaya. Perkembangan pembangunan hotel juga membuat daerah sekitar Jakarta seperti Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan bekasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pembangunan industri pariwisata yang pesat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sampai sejauh mana aspek green hotel telah diterapkan pada hotel bintang satu, dua, dan tiga di daerah Jabodetabek. Proses penelitian dilakukan dengan pencarian data dan survey lapangan (observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi) berdasarkan kriteria yang terdapat pada kuesioner penelitian. Pembahasan pada penelitian yaitu mengenai sampah, energi, HVAC, dan edukasi.  Dengan adanya penelitian ini akan memberikan gambaran perkembangan green hotel di Jabodetabek pada masa ini, sehingga pada pembangunan hotel selanjutnya dapat berkembang lebih baik.

Abstract

Architecture studio classroom is the primary facility for an architecture major, where the most activity isdrawing. It needs illumination extra compared other activities such as writing and reading. Most of studentsspend more time in studio classroom and used it more than seven hours per day. It means a good design of astudio classroom is very important to fullfill the need of architecture student, such as illumination level. Someresearches shown that using daylight in classroom is a good solution for keeping the health, psychology, andproductivity of the student. So, the implementation of daylight is very important to be considered. Moreover,another reason of using daylight is for saving the energy for electrical consumption.This research strengthen about the importance of daylight in an architecture studio classroom against theactivity of a student and to showed the daylight condition by taking a case study of Architecture Department,Faculty of Engineering, Pancasila University. There are several stages in this reasearh. First, is evaluatingthe daylight condition of architecture studio classroom. The evaluation contained observation, daylightcalculation, and interview of architecture student. Second, is about the discussion based on the result ofevaluation of daylight condition and theories of daylight. Abstract

The Nasional Gallery of Indonesia is a reputable art gallery owned by Indonesian State. It roles as the venue for exhibitions and art events on International scale. To maintain the reputation then it employed the Independent Curators to cary out exhibitions. In recent years, the phenomenon of the proffesional Fine Art Artists show the hing spirits. To enrich their international publication then they began to realize their opportunity to exhibit at this gallery. Unfortunately, the gallery building is an adaptive reuse of the Cultural Heritage Building. The National Gallery building which has a distinctive Dutch Colonial architectural style has not been optimally utilized. So, it has existence has wide limitations and space limitation that unable to accommodate such high interests. On the other hand, Jabodetabek is stands for Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi are the Greater City of Jakarta, has Cultural Heritage Buildings. There are many of architectural style of heritage buildings that has chance to be the exhibition spaces. The study is an idea to aim solutions of the availability of exhibition area in Jabodetabek to accommodate the Fine Art Artists interest of exhibiting. According to the Adaptive-Reuse of the National Gallery’s case, and by refers to the Grounded Theory Research method and Case Studies related to the Jabodetabek’s Cultural Heritage buildings. A Working Hyphotesis is Jabodetabeks’s Cultural Heritage Buildings opportunities as The National Gallery’s Satellites. The findings are the Satellite Galleries Rank, and the Properties Display recommendation based on the Cultural Heritage’s rules that can be offered to make them as the “Satellite” as well as the ICOM as the National Gallery of Indonesia’s standard.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to incorporate the wisdom of West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, into the design of the museum building, to preserve culture as a symbol of respect and love for the Indonesian homeland. The approach is carried out using a qualitative-correlational analysis approach to local socio-cultural activities and also using a conceptual design approach regarding design themes that highlight a cultural wisdom in Dompu called "Kasama Weki". "Kasama Weki" is the advice of Bima-Dompu West Nusa Tenggara which means togetherness, solidarity, kinship, justice, volunteerism (selfless), responsibility, active role of society as well as unity and oneness. This advice has locality and synergy values contained in the Bima-Dompu culture so that it can be applied in the design of the weaving museum building. "Kasama Weki" as an international tourist attraction is based on a series of cultural thematics as part of the design concept. The application of this theme is a symbol of respect and love for Indonesia's homeland so that it becomes an iconic architectural work as a contextual and communicative platform and as an educational tourist attraction and has the potential on the international stage to advance tourism and the creative economy which spurs improvements in the quality of Indonesian woven products in accordance with the spirit of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

Mandalika Special Economic Zones in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, is experiencing dynamics after the Covid-19 pandemic, in the form of updating the 2015 and 2018 master plans, including the accommodation design concept. This study was carried out based on qualitative methods aimed at producing the design of a resort hotel in Mandalika Area in Lombok. This architectural study is a qualitative research that refers to the studies of Linda Groat and David Wang. Based on the research results, a hotel resort concept with the theme of the Dramatic Earthly Paradise was obtained. The 'earthly paradise' reflects the beauty of the island of Lombok (natural panorama of beaches, mountains and culture) into an integrated design. The benefit obtained from this study is as an inspiration for fulfilling tourism accommodation in resort areas based on a combination of local wisdom and universal design.

Abstract

Program of Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) is a Community Service Program aims to enhance public understanding of the role and significance of city landmarks, particularly the Tugu Pal Putih in Yogyakarta, within the context of urban spaces and cultural heritage. The range of activities were conducted using two methods: 1) offline distribution of cups and plates featuring landmark-related imagery and text, and 2) online dissemination through short videos on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The program also involved students as part of the team. The results showed: 1) an increased public awareness of the philosophical and historical values of Tugu Pal Putih, 2) a deeper understanding of the role of landmarks in the structure of urban spaces, and 3) a heightened awareness of the importance of preserving landmarks as part of world cultural heritage. The chosen media proved effective in reaching various segments of the public, both locally and regionally, and successfully encouraged greater community involvement in preserving and promoting city landmarks.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam rangka pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menjadi salah satu kewajiban dosen untuk menyebarluaskan hasil penelitian kepada masyarakat luas. Salah satu bentuk kegiatan tersebut adalah penyuluhan mengenai peran landmark sebagai identitas dan daya tarik kota. Landmark berperan penting dalam menciptakan keteraturan visual kota, memperkuat orientasi ruang, serta membentuk ikatan emosional antara masyarakat dan lingkungannya. Melalui studi kasus Tugu Yogyakarta atau Tugu Pal Putih, kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya landmark sebagai simbol budaya dan identitas kota yang berkontribusi terhadap citra dan daya tarik pariwisata perkotaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Tugu Yogyakarta dikenal luas sebagai ikon wisata, sebagian besar masyarakat belum memahami nilai simbolik dan perannya dalam membangun citra kota. Oleh karena itu, program penyuluhan ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap makna landmark, sekaligus mendukung upaya pemerintah dalam pelestarian nilai budaya dan penguatan karakter kota.
