Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kreativitas dan keterampilan kolaborasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pendidikan IPS Prodi PGSD FIP Undiksha, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara simultan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah the posttest-only control-group desain. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester II Prodi PGSD FIP Undiksha Singaraja yang berjumlah 277 orang, sedangkan sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 62 orang. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran PBL. Sedangkan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah kreativitas dan keterampilan kolaborasi mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode obsevasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah MANOVA. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, disimpulkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran PBL terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa dengan F hitung sebesar 50,386 dengan signifikansi 0,000 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05. 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran PBL terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi mahasiswa dengan F hitung sebesar 56,812 dengan signifikansi 0,000 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05. Dan 3) Secara simultan, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran PBL terhadap kreativitas dan keterampilan kolaborasi mahasiswa dengan F hitung sebesar 43,561 dengan signifikansi 0,000 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the subject of IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) have become a fundamental problem in the learning process. One of the contributing factors is the limited variety of learning models and the lack of active student engagement. This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the 5E Learning Cycle model assisted by Mind Mapping on students’ learning outcomes. The study employed a quasi-experimental approach with a Nonequivalent Post-test Only Control Group Design. The subjects consisted of 41 students divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected using objective tests as instruments to measure learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and inferential t-tests. The analysis results showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students taught using the 5E Learning Cycle model assisted by Mind Mapping and those who were not. The study concludes that the implementation of an innovative and visually-based learning model has a significant impact on improving IPAS learning outcomes. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of employing learning approaches that encourage active student engagement to achieve more optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

Primary school students' interest in Balinese satua has declined due to their limited understanding of the context of historical stories and the dominance of modern reading materials, resulting in local moral and cultural values not being optimally conveyed. This study aims to produce a remake of a Balinese satua storybook entitled I Belog, oriented towards postmodernism, for primary school students, which is reviewed in terms of its design, content validity, and practicality. This study is a research and development study using the ADDIE model. The subject of this study is the remake of the Balinese satua storybook I Belog, oriented towards postmodernism. The developed product was validated by subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts, and was given to primary school teachers and students to obtain feedback on the practicality of the product. The data collection methods used included questionnaires and checklists. The data obtained were analysed using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the content validity test obtained a very high category, with subject matter experts scoring 1, media experts scoring 1, and language experts scoring 0.8. The feasibility of the learning resource was also assessed from the teachers' responses, which scored 100% with a very good qualification, and the students' response test scored 92.53% with a very good qualification. The implications this study indicate that the I Belog remake storybook can strengthen students' cultural literacy and character building if supported by collaboration between schools and the government to integrate traditional values into a modern context
