Abstract

Sunda dialect is a local dialect from West Java Province that has to preserve. One of the learning materials can be conveyed through storytelling. Roesdi djeung Misnem book is a classic Sunda book that contains Sunda tales. Pabukon Ngadongeng Community Book Corner provides service for this book to material storytelling. This research aims to know the Sunda storytelling book as cultural literature to children in Roesdi djeung Misnem book at Pabukon Ngadongeng Community Book Corner through analysis of story meaning, kind of storytelling, characterization reader, and storytelling as a learning language. The research method used a qualitative approach through a narrative literature review. Roesdi djeung Misnem book has 19 tales with 13 themes from the meaning story: prudence, working together, smartness, gratitude, stinginess, loving, self-measurement, arrogance, brave, trust, honesty, good attitude, and glorifying parents. This kind of storytelling consists of tales with animal and human characters. Animal tales total seven tales, and human figures tales total 12 tales. In characterization reader, Roesdi djeung Misnem book can be read to children over nine. Sunda tales in this book can train to learn the Sunda language. So, librarians or Managers of Community Book Corner can design Sunda dialect learning materials through storytelling as an activity for local dialect revitalization.

Abstract

Padjadjaran University Knowledge Management Center has rebuilt its website by adding the GLAM Repository element. The website plans to install alternative metric tools: PlumX which is found in a subscription package repository called Digital Commons. This research aims to create a program design based on the four substances of information system management: technology, databases, procedures, and human resources. This study uses a qualitative approach with method action research. The data collection process is carried out using interviews, observation, literature studies, documentation, and focus group discussions. Data are gathered from librarians and staff through interviews and FGDs. Data analysis techniques conducted by researchers included: data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. Results researched shows that in the field of technology and databases, the website was rebuilt through the addition of GLAM and repository elements. Knowledge Management Center unify databases between faculty libraries. Alternative metric procedures has been successfully submitted to Universitas Padjadjaran. The librarians need to learn about alternative metrics. The outputs of alternative metric implementation program designs are proposals, draft terms of reference, and Digital Common and Plumx learning materials. The conclusion of the research is that the design of alternative metric programs requires technological support, databases, updating of computer units, and staff training in managing alternative metrics.

Abstract

Students at SMP Negeri 1 Sumber possess digital media literacy skills. However, their knowledge and skills are limited to primary computer and internet fundamentals. This study aims to understand digital media literacy based on students' individual competencies at SMPN 1 Sumber in Cirebon District. The research employs a quantitative approach through a descriptive survey method. The results of this study indicate that the digital media literacy level of SMP Negeri 1 Sumber students is 85%. This percentage consists of three abilities: technical ability (81%), cognitive ability (88%), and communication ability (67%). Among these percentages, the lowest score is observed in the student's communication ability. This is because students lack the knowledge and skills related to content creation, whether informative or entertainment-based. However, the proportion for the other two indicators is high because students have knowledge and skills regarding media and its regulations. In conclusion, the digital media literacy of students at SMP Negeri 1 Sumber is high, suggesting they have a good grasp of digital media literacy.
