Kampung Nambon is a village in Jayapura regency which has no access to clean water. Groundwater is an alternative water source for villages which are prone to surface water sources. Groundwater aquifers are porous and permeable subsurface layers which can hold and transmit groundwater. Geoelectric method is a common geophysical method for groundwater exploration due to direct relationship between resistivity and water content. The objective of this study is to characterize subsurface structure of Kampung Nambon and to estimate the depth of potential groundwater aquifer using Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) of Schlumberger array and Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) of Wenner array. An ERT line of 100 metres whose midpoint is the sounding point of VES with maximum electrode spacing (AB/2) of 250 metres were performed. The results show that subsurface at Kampung Nambon is heterogeneous with significant lateral variation where karst formation was estimated at depth range of 5 – 15 meters. This karst formation might contain groundwater flow as indicated by relatively low resistivity values compared to high resistivity background of Limestone from Jayapura formation (Qpj).

The target of the science and technology application service activity is given to students of SMA N 3 Sentani. The purpose of this activity is to carry out the tri dharma of higher education and provide mentoring to students in the use of learning applications. The application used is the Droid Tesla V6.21. This application helps students to more easily recognize electronic components and makes it easier for students to design electronic circuits such as assembling series and parallel electrical circuits. This activity has been carried out using lecture and practice methods as well as giving Pre Test and Post Test. A Research of inversion of Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) data of Schlumberger configuration using combination of Simulated Annealing (SA) dan Fixed-Width Thickness methods has been carried out. The fixed-width thickness method was used to objectively determine the number of subsurface layers. The SA method was used because it is stable and the initial model does not have to be at proximity of the actual solution. The inversion results on synthetic data of 3 and 4 layers show a good fit between the sintetik data and inverted model. In addition to the number of layers, the fixed-width thickness method also provides information on the range of depth and resistivity values for each layer whit can be used as input for inversion. The inversion results on synthetic data containing 20% noise indicating that the model and data have a good fit. The level of fit of the method depends on the number of model parameters and the error tolerance. The inversion results on field data in Nambon village, Jayapura district, show that there are 5 subsurface layers. The geological interpretation of these five layers is that the first layer is the top soil layer which is weathered limestone, clay and sand. The second, fourth and fifth layers are limestone of the Jayapura formation (Qpj) with a resistivity range between 923 – 5881 Ωm. The third layer is karst, which may contain groundwater, formed in the limestone of the Jayapura formation.

Nies World's learning house is a place where several youths gather to hone their skills. Some of the classes that were opened were music, language, photography and so on. As for some youths who are experiencing financial constraints, they are given capital for entrepreneurship such as selling squeezed oranges and raising pigs. Graphic design class is one of the activities that have been carried out at the Nies World Learning House with the aim of improving soft skills for young people. This activity began with a discussion with the youth regarding the interest and interest in design. The activity was continued by designing T-shirts and digital invitations through their respective cellphones. The content in the design consists of writing combined with lines, images and text. The results of each youth's design are printed on the selected T-shirts. It can be seen that the soft skill potential of the youth is very good if it continues to be developed and sharpened again so that it can improve the quality of designs that have economic value.Keywords: design; digital; enterpreunership; skill; t-shirtÂÂ

Kampung Abar Distrik Ebungfauw terdapat sebuah dermaga yang dibuat oleh masyarakat setempat sebagai penghubung antar kampung lainnya. namun dermaga tersebut sudah sangat tua hingga harus dibuat dermaga yang baru, oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukannya survey struktur bawah permukaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginformasikan kepada masyarakat setempat keadaan struktur bawah permukaan tanah agar bisa dilakukannya pengeboran untuk melakukan penanaman tiang pancang baru buat dermaga. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah metode geolistrik tahanan jenis konfigurasi schlumberger untuk survey bawah permukaan secara vertikal dan akan dikorelasi dengan hasil dari data metode boring. Penelitian akan dilakukan di Kampung Abar Distrik Ebungfauw, dengan pengambilan data sebanyak 2 (dua) titik survey. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah ResistivityMeter yang dilengkapi dengan dua pasang elektroda arus dan potensial. Hasil penggolahan data akan berupa penampang struktur lapisan secara vertikal yang menunjukan keadaan sturktur bawah permukaan. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa struktur bawah permukaan Dermaga Kampung Abar didominasi oleh lapisan yang terdiri dari material lempung bercampur pasir padat dengan nilai resistivitas 1917 hingga 38494 m. Selain itu, terdapat lapisan batuan keras berupa kerikil bercampur lumpur dengan nilai resistivitas 6,1 sampai dengan 1,248 m. direkomendasikan untuk kedalaman pondasi pada titik 6 sampai 15 meter, dan hasil data metode pemboran dibor sedalam 10 meter.

Perubahan tutupan lahan dan alih fungsi lahan dari lahan bervegetasi menjadi lahan terbangun di wilayah Kota Jayapura ditengarai menjadi faktor utama meningkatnya suhu permukaan lahan. Kombinasi antara suhu permukaan lahan dengan suhu udara yang ada di atasnya akan menjadi pemicu munculnya pulau panas perkotaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan distribusi spasial dan temporal suhu permukaan lahan serta menentukan wilayah yang berpotensi mengalami fenomena pulau panas perkotaan di Kota Jayapura. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif yang disajikan dalam bentuk peta, grafik dan tabel menggunakan data sekunder citra satelit lansat 8 tahun 2014 dan 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu permukaan lahan di Kota Jayapura semakin meningkat dalam kurun waktu delapan tahun seiring dengan bertambahnya lahan terbangun. Peningkatan suhu permukaan lahan terdistribusi secara spasial pada lima Distrik dengan suhu permukaan rata-rata >= 27 0C. Berdasarkan peningkatan suhu permukaan lahan tersebut, maka ada lima titik wilayah yang berpotensi dan berpeluang besar menjadi sumber pulau panas perkotaan di Kota Jayapura yaitu Distrik Jayapura utara bagian timur, Distrik Jayapura selatan bagian timur, Distrik Abepura bagian utara, Distrik Heram bagian utara dan distrik Muaratami bagian barat. Secara spasial, kelima wilayah tersebut saling berdekatan atau terhubung satu dengan yang lain.

Research on the estimation of bedrock depth in Yabaso village, Jayapura district using the Schlumberger configuration Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) method and the HVSR method has been carried out. The total observation points are three points where VES is one point and VHSR are two observation points. VES measurements used a set of resistivity meter model AK HV 500 with a maximum spread length of the current electrode is 100 m. HVSR measurements use a portable seismograph set and the measurement time for ambient seismic waves is 60 minutes. VES and HVSR data processing respectively using IPI2Win and Geopsy software. The model parameters resulting from the inversion of the VES data show that there are nine layers with a resistivity range between 18 – 25,260 Ωm. Layer 1 is a heap of sandy gravel with a resistivity value of 92 Ωm. Layers 2 to 7 are part of alluvium formations and coastal deposits (Qa) with resistivity values of 18 – 264 Ωm. While layers 8 and 9 are fragments of weathered ultramafic rock (um) and compact and dry ultramafic rock respectively. The source rock (bedrock) is layer 9 which is at a depth of 42 m. The results of HVSR data processing show that the natural frequencies at the two observation points are very small (<2.5 Hz), namely 0.85 Hz and 0.83 Hz. According to Kanai's classification, this frequency value is type I, class IV, namely alluvial rock. The depths of source rock based on the HVSR method at measurement points 1 and 2 are 43 m and 44 m, respectively. There is agreement in the estimation of the depth of the source rock obtained from the VES and HVSR methods even though the two methods utilize two different physical parameters. Tsunami merupakan bencana yang tidak dapat diprediksi waktu kemunculannya, namun jika terjadi dapat menimbulkan kerusakan dan dampak yang besar. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan TES untuk digunakan sebagai tempat evakuasi sementara apabila terjadi bencana seperti tsunami. Penentuan jalur dan tempat evakuasi sementara dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Kuantitafif dengan wawancara dan kuisioner terhadap responden untuk menganalisis data agar terukur. Serta menggunakan metode Kualitatif yaitu berupa data sekuder pengolahan gempabumi dan data history tsunami di Papua untuk menentukan peta ancaman tsunami di wilayah penelitian Hasil dari penelitian adalah tempat yang bisa dijadikan tempat evakuasi memiliki jarak serta waktu yang kurang efisien oleh karena itu diperlukan selter vertikal di area dekat pantai. Dan Semakin tinggi gelombang tsunaminya maka selter yang diperlukan juga semakin tinggi.
Simple Python-Based Application for Transforming Apparent Resistivity Data from Schlumberger Configuration to Wenner Configuration Using the Linear Filter Method

Research has been conducted regarding the design of a simple Python-based application to transform apparent resistivity values from the Schlumberger configuration into apparent resistivity values from the Wenner configuration using the linear filter method. The application developed was then validated using field data measurements from two different locations, namely Nendali Village in the East Sentani district and Buper Waena in the Heram Jayapura district. At each measurement point, two Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) measurements were performed using Schlumberger and Wenner configurations. The apparent resistivity values from the Schlumberger configuration were transformed using the application created, and the results were compared with observational data from the Wenner configuration. Field data were taken for as many as six samples per logarithmic cycle, with the Schlumberger AB/2 configuration electrode spacing equal to the Wenner configuration electrode spacing. The maximum stretch lengths in Nendali and Buper villages were 26 m and 40 m, respectively. The research results show a match between the apparent resistivity values of the Wenner configuration obtained from field observations and the transformation results. This suitability was demonstrated qualitatively through the similarity of the apparent resistivity curve trend between the transformed and field observation data. Quantitatively, this suitability is shown by the slope value of the comparison curve of field observation data and transformed data, which in Nendali and Buper Villages is 0.75 and 0.98, respectively. The conclusion of this study is that a simple application that has been designed and created can be used to transform apparent resistivity values from the Schlumberger configuration to the Wenner configuration. A comparison between the transformed data and field observation data shows that suitability is highly dependent on the quality of the field data.

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) telah dilakukan di Kampung Abar, Distrik Ebungfauw Kabupaten Jayapura, Papua. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra PkM adalah kesulitan akses sumber air bersih. Air permukaan seperti danau Sentani tidak dapat digunakan karena telah tercemar oleh limbah industri dan rumah tangga, sedangkan mata air yang terletak cukup jauh dari pemukiman warga dan selama ini digunakan sebagai sumber air ternyata tidak berkelanjutan karena mengalami kekeringan pada saat musim kemarau. Salah satu solusi permasalahan ini adalah penggunaan air tanah sebagai sumber alternatif air bersih. Keberadaan lapisan yang mengandung air tanah (akuifer) dapat diduga menggunakan metode geolistrik vertical electrical sounding (VES) konfigurasi Schlumberger. Panjang bentangan dan sampling interval yang digunakan masing-masing adalah 400 meter dan 7 sampel per siklus logaritma. Hasil pengukuran dan analisa VES menunjukkan bahwa lapisan akuifer diduga berada pada kedalaman antara 19 hingga 41 meter dan merupakan rekahan dari Batu Grewak Formasi Makats. Rekomendasi kedalaman ini selanjutnya diserahkan kepada dinas PUPR Kabupaten Jayapura untuk merancang pembangunan infrastruktur air bersih di Kampung Abar.
