Abstract

The sea cucumber with the Latin name Holothuria scabra has high economic value. This leads to overfishing in nature. One of the areas in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province that produces sand sea cucumbers is the Coastal Village of Batu Aer, Simpang Pesak District, East Belitung Regency. The problems faced by partners at this time are: 1) Partners do not have the skills to manage the sea cucumber cultivation business, because they still catch from nature; and 2) Partners do not have knowledge related to sea cucumber cultivation technology. This activity is expected to contribute, among others: 1) Helping traditional fishermen to get a side business from sea cucumber cultivation; and 2) Increasing the income of traditional fishermen from sea cucumber cultivation. The outputs resulting from this activity are: 1) Increasing the quantity and quality of cultivation products; 2) Improving community understanding and skills for sea cucumber cultivation; and 3) Increasing people's income.

The independent variables were internship experience, self-ability, and work motivation, while the dependent variable was work readiness. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to test the data. The results show that internship experience and self-efficacy have a positive and significant influence on students' work readiness. Work motivation shows a positive but not significant influence. Taken together, these three factors show a positive and significant combined influence on the work readiness of students class of 2020 at Bangka Belitung University.

This study aims to determine the influence of competence, motivation, and work facilities on the performance of Civil Servants (PNS) in Rangkui District, Pangkalpinang City. The background of the research is grounded in the importance of improving the performance of government apparatus through strengthening human resources and providing a supportive work environment. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that competence, motivation, and work facilities each have a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, these three variables contribute 66.7% to the variation in civil servant performance, while the remaining 33.3% is explained by other variables outside the scope of this study. These findings indicate that improving employee performance cannot be separated from strengthening competence, increasing motivation, and providing adequate work facilities.
