Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program is one of the programs organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education and Research under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Kampus Mengajar program is one of the branch programs of Merdeka Belajar. Kampus Merdeka which has the aim of teaching, assisting technology, and school administration and teachers. One of the schools targeted by the Kampus Mengajar Program is SD Negeri 071169 which is located in Ombolata Village, Alasa District, North Nias Regency, North Sumatra. In this Kampus Mengajar program, students who are appointed to participate in the program have the responsibility of assisting the school in the teaching process, technology adaptation, and school administration. In addition, kampus mengajar students have the responsibility of improving student character and increasing student interest in learning, especially during this pandemic. The purpose of student participation in the Kampus Mengajar program is a process of adding relationships, gaining experience outside the world of lectures, developing students' insights, character and soft skills, encouraging and spurring national development by fostering student motivation to participate in equitable education, and increasing the role and real contribution of universities and students in educational development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan sebagai Penguatan Kompetensi 4c Untuk Mewujudkan Keberhasilan Afektif, Kognitif, Dan Psikomotorik Siswa Sma Negeri 1 Galang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat berjalan dengan baik, serta tujuan dari pengabdian dapat terwujud, walaupun terdapat beberapa kegiatan yang tidak terlaksana dikarenakan waktu yang singkat. Keberhasilan aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorik siswa dapat tercapai dengan banyak strategi, namun pengabdi menawarkan penerapan penguatan kompetensi 4C (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, dan Communication) di SMA Negeri 1 Galang. Penguatan kompetensi 4C merupakan upaya strategis dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan siswa dalam aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorik. Kompetensi berpikir kritis (Critical Thinking) membantu siswa dalam menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menyelesaikan masalah secara sistematis, sehingga mereka lebih siap menghadapi tantangan di dunia akademik maupun kehidupan sehari-hari. Kreativitas (Creativity) memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan ide-ide inovatif dan solusi yang unik, yang tidak hanya berguna dalam proses pembelajaran tetapi juga dalam pengembangan keterampilan di masa depan. Kolaborasi (Collaboration) berperan penting dalam membangun kerja sama tim yang efektif, meningkatkan kemampuan interpersonal, serta membentuk sikap saling menghargai dalam lingkungan belajar. Serta komunikasi (Communication) menjadi aspek kunci dalam menyampaikan ide, pendapat, dan informasi secara jelas serta meyakinkan, baik secara lisan maupun tulisan

Abstract

This program aims to see the use of the Duolingo application in increasing literacy with the help of the Capcut application. The implementation of PkM at SMA 37 PGRI BATANGKUIS uses a digital literacy approach method through the Duolinggo application assisted by the CapCut application. Where the implementation of PkM aims to overcome the problem of insufficient literacy in order to increase students' literacy in understanding foreign language vocabulary (English). The implementation method that we have developed involves active collaboration between the PkM team and the school, especially the students of SMA 37 PGRI Batangkuis. From the results of this PkM implementation, it can be concluded that the community service program which utilizes the Duolingo and CapCut applications for SMA 37 PGRI BATANGKUIS students has had a positive impact, including: Community service program which utilizes the Duolingo and CapCut applications for students of SMA 37 PGRI BATANGKUIS managed to increase their literacy significantly. Pre-test and post-test data show consistent improvements in students' reading, writing and speaking skills after participating in this program. The integration of the Duolingo application effectively enriches students' foreign language skills, while the use of CapCut provides an additional dimension in the development of students' multimedia skills.
