Eksistensi Indonesia di dunia Internasional tidak perlu diragukan lagi. indonesia tergolomg sebagai negara yang produktif dalam melakukan ekspor rempah di dunia dan termasuk dalam nomor lima dengan komoditas seperti pala, lada hingga cengkeh serta berbagai rempah lainnya. Adanya fenomena tersebut menjadikan Indonesia memiliki kesempatan untuk terus mengembangkan kegiatan ekspor rempah di kancah Internasional.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan identifikasi terhadap perkembangan ekspor rempah khas Medan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa studi literatur dan hasil observasi serta wawancara mendalam dengan pihak terkait. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan teknik analisis data berdasarkan korelasi antara fakta di lapangan dan teori yang digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekspor rempah khususnya pada komoditas lada, kemiri dan aren dan lainnya memiliki peningkatan yang fluktuatif. Sudah sejak lama Provinsi Sumatera Utara menjadi salah satu daerah yang mengeskpor hasil bumi ke negara lain. Namun karena pandemic terdapat sedikit hambatan dalam proses pendistribusian. Hal ini juga mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi pada petani rempah khususnya di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Economic development in an area must go through several plans and targets both long term and short term. The process leading to the realization of some of these targets is useful for conditioning the capacity for increasing the economy of the community. One of the characteristics of society that has gone hand in hand with economic development is marked by the widespread use of technology and changes in a more positive direction from the mindset of the people to institutional institutions. The research method used as an analytical tool in this study is a descriptive type with the aim of obtaining a projected representation of a participation and procedural regulatory mechanism in the community during the process of preparing the RPJMD in Medan City from 2010 to 2025. The analytical steps used are secondary data or data. supporting information in the form of a collection of information regarding the results of interviews with respondents as well as providing an appropriate presentation with an explanation of the matrix accompanied by the presentation that has been displayed by the researcher. The variety of informants or respondents used as a collection of information in this study involved various elements such as social organizations, elements from the Medan city government to academics under the auspices of universities to the mass media and the main element is the Medan City DPRD. The process of compiling the results of this research is oriented towards a question and answer process or interviews by applying qualitative analysis steps with the aim of criticizing various phenomena in the process of preparing reports and investigating phenomena regarding the research topic. The continuation of the process is a data analysis technique using logical interpretation supported by previously collected data. The results of this study are that in development planning, Medan City has a challenge by having to handle an area of 265.10 km2, with an estimated population density of 9,836.56 people/km2 in 2025. This population increase can be an obstacle in handling development planning., however This is also an opportunity if the government can take advantage of this population increase. For population growth itself in 2025 there will be a decline, which in 2020 is expected to grow by 1.03 to 0.94% in 2025.

Perusahaan multinasional memiliki keterlibatan dalam sector perekonomian suatu negara karena memiliki entitas yang penting dalam menyerap tenaga kerja hingga meningkatkan pendapatan per kapita suatu negara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peranan secara rinci dari perusahaan multinasional yang dapat memunculkan dampak tertentu bagi perekonomian di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi pustaka melalui beberapa referensi serta informasi dari lembaga terkait dengan perekonomian di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peranan perusahaan multinasional menimbulkan efek positif serta efek negative. Dari sisi positif, peranan perusahaan multinasional dapat memberikan kesempatan yang tepat bagi Indonesia untuk mengembangkan sector perekonomian negara dengan adanya sumbangsih devisa negara. Selain itu, Indonesia akan makin dikenal oleh negara lain karena negara lain percaya bahwa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan investasi asing karena latar belakang potensi sumber daya Indonesia yang melimpah dan penekanan pada upah pekerja di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Di sisi negative, apabila pemerintah Indonesia tidak memberikan penekanan pada perusahaan multinasional mengenai regulasi internal perdagangan dan industri di Indonesia maka akan mempersempit peluang perusahaan domestic dalam bersaing di negara sendiri.

Welfare can be measured and understood through various economic and social indicators. General well-being refers to the condition in which a society generally feels happy, healthy, and has its basic needs met, such as food, shelter, education, and decent work. One welfare that has attracted attention is the welfare of coastal areas where the majority of coastal residents work as fishermen. There are several residents who are trying out the shrimp farming business. The type of shrimp they take is vanamei shrimp. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the welfare status of shrimp farmers who follow the guidelines of the Islamic economic system. A qualitative approach was used in this research. To carry out a research approach, observations and interviews were carried out. Based on the results of observations, the expenditure of shrimp pond farmers varies from the profits earned by pond farmers, which is very sufficient to meet all needs, both in terms of education, health and adequate consumption. The monthly profit they get from white shrimp pond farmers is IDR 11,631,666, compared to the Serdang Berdagai Regency Minimum Wage (UMK) of IDR 3,111,250 and the average expenditure of shrimp pond farmers is IDR 9,000,000/month. With this profit, all the needs of pond farmers are fulfilled and well met, so that shrimp pond farmers are at a very good level of welfare.

Berbagai upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia sebagai upaya untuk menunjang perekonomian sangatlah variative. Salah satu upaya untuk memulihkan perekonomian yang sempat lumpuh ketika pandemic khususnya di Provinsi Sumatera Utara adalah pembangunan jalan tol yang dilakukan pada beberapa wilayah, salah satunya melewati Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Pembangunan jalur lintas Sumatera tersebut mendorong kegiatan masyarakat sehingga perekonomian mengalami peningkatan. Investasi syariah yang merupakan bagian dari program perekonomian untuk memberikan keuntungan bagi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan dana sehingga sesuai dengan syariah Islam tentu saja semakin diminati. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan analisis pada peranan investasi syariah yang dilakukan sehingga berdampak pada pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat di Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa investasi syariah yang terjadi di Provinsi Sumatera Utara pada khususnya sudah berhasil dalam memulihkan perekonomian masyarakat meski masih terhitung kecil dari target awal. Namun mitra yang berhubungan dalam berbagai kegiatan investasi syariah sudah menunjukkan angka positif terhadap respon perekonomian masyarakat di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.
