Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis EM-4 yang berpengaruh tehadap perubahan kandungan NDF, ADF, Selulosa dan Lignin pada tepung tongkol jagung yang difermentasi. Metoda yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metoda percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dimaksud yaitu: P0 = 1kg tepung tongkol jagung tanpa EM-4 (sebagai kontrol); P1 = 1kg tepung tongkol jagung + 5 ml EM-4; P2 = 1kg tepung tongkol jagung + 10 ml EM-4 dan P3 = 1kg tepung tongkol jagung + 15 ml EM-4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan NDF(%)  P0 = 88,65±3,33; P1 = 87,23±2,24; P2 = 84,52±0,65; P3 = 87,63±1,89, rataan konsentrasi ADF (%) tiap perlakuan adalah: (P0) 57,33±0,48; (P1) 43,03±2,27; (P2) 56,19±5,7 dan (P3) 46,18±7,05 sedangkan konsentrasi  Selulosa (%) adalah  (P0) 43,29±0,92; (P1) 29,38±4,56; (P2) 40,27±3,46 dan (P3) 29,53±3,80. konsentrasi Lignin (%) adalah  (P0) 15,88±0,14; (P1) 13,06±0,28; (P2) 14,72±1,71 dan (P3) 16,08±0,81. Hasil penelitian am menunjukkan bahwa penambahan dosis EM-4 yang berbeda terhadap perubahan NDF, ADF, Selulosa dan Lignin tepung tongkol jagung yang difermentasi berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05). Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil yaitu tepung tongkol jagung yang difermentasi menggunakan EM-4 sampai pada dosis 15 ml belum mampu merubah kadar NDF, ADF dan Selulosa serta belum mampu menurunkan kandungan Lignin.   This study aims to determine the dose of EM-4 which affects changes in the content of NDF, ADF, Cellulose and Lignin in fermented corn cobs flour. The data collection method used in this study was an experiment using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment in question is: P0 = 1kg corncob meal without EM-4 (as control); P1 = 1kg corncob meal + 5 ml EM-4; P2 = 1kg corncobs meal + 10 ml EM-4 and P3 = 1kg corncobs meal + 15 ml EM-4. The results of the treatment from the research that has been done obtained the average NDF P0 = 88.65 ± 3.33, P1 = 87.23 ± 2.24, P2 = 84.52 ± 0.65, P3 = 87.63 ± 1.89, the average ADF concentration (%) for each treatment was: (P0) 57.33 ± 0.48; (P1) 43.03 ± 2.27; (P2) 56.19 ± 5.7 and (P3) 46.18 ± 7.05 while the concentration of Cellulose (%) was (P0) 43.29 ± 0.92; (P1) 29.38 ± 4.56; (P2) 40.27 ± 3.46 and (P3). 29.53 ± 3.80. the Lignin concentration (%) was (P0) 15.88 ± 0.14; (P1) 13.06 ± 0.28; (P2) 14.72 ± 1.71 and (P3) 16.08 ± 0.81. Based on the research data, the results of the analysis of variance showed that the addition of different doses of EM-4 to changes in NDF, ADF, Cellulose and Lignin of fermented corncob flour had no significant effect (P>0.05). The conclusion that can be drawn is that the use of fermented corncob flour using EM-4 up to a dose of 15 ml could not increase the levels of NDF, ADF and Cellulose and could not reduce the Lignin content at a dose of 15 ml.
