Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis website dengan pendekatan RME pada materi trigonometri SMA, metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji validasi oleh ahli media dinilai valid, lalu uji validasi oleh ahli materi dinilai sangat valid, dan respon kelompok kecil dinilai baik, pada hasil uji kelayakan untuk indikator kualitas isi dan tujuan sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat layak, kualitas intruksional sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan kualitas teknis sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat layak. Lalu pada hasil respon kelompok besar kualitas isi dan tujuan mendapatkan hasil 77,66% dengan kategori baik, kualitas intruksional 74,75% dengan kategori baik, dan kualitas teknis 81,67% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogis mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika dengan cara memberikan pendampingan kepada mahasiswa calon guru dalam pengembangan media dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitiannya yaitu penelitian tindakan dengan meliputi empat tahap yaitu analisis pra penelitian, refleksi, persiapan dan pelaksanaan tindakan, serta evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi kelayakan media oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan praktisi pendidikan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun 2019/2020 dengan sampel penelitian mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika sebanyak 15 orang yang memiliki keahlian dalam mengoperasikan komputer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: kegiatan pendampingan sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi khususnya penggunaan mobile learning. Berdasarkan pada penilaian dua kelompok ahli (media, materi) dan praktisi pendidikan maka dalam penelitian ini dihasilkan sembilan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis mobile learning dengan kategori “LAYAK” sesuai dengan tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu perlu dilakukan pendampingan yang lebih luas yaitu bagi guru.Abstract: The purpose of this study is to enhance of mathematics undergraduate students’ pedagogic competency by providing assistance in the development of learning media in mathematics. The research method is action research which includes four stages: pre-research analysis, reflection, preparation and implementation of actions, and evaluation. The instrument is questionnaire of validation by media experts (content / material) and practitioner in education. The research was conducted in 2019/2020 with 15 students of mathematics education study program who have computer skills. The results shows that an assistance for undergraduate students is effective to improving their competences specially in pedagogy integrated to technology mobile learning. Based on expert judgments the nine learning media based smartphone in mathematics was produced in this study showed the "feasible" category. The implication of this research is needed to assistance widely, such as for teachers.

Abstract

Consider a finite graph G that is simple, undirected, and connected. Let W be an ordered set of vertices with |W| = k. The representation of a vertex v is defined as an ordered k-tuple that consists of the distances from vertex v to each vertex in W. The set W is called a resolving set for G if the k-tuples for any two vertices in G are distinct. The metric dimension of G, denoted by dim(G), is the smallest possible size of such a set W. In this paper, we determine the metric dimension of edge comb product of trees with complete multipartites or petersen graphs.

Abstract

This study investigates high school students’ visual-spatial thinking ability in the context of transformation geometry using a descriptive quantitative design. A total of 241 students from public and Islamic high schools in Jakarta participated in the study, responding to a validated 40-item multiple-choice test assessing four key indicators: imagining, problem-solving, pattern seeking, and conceptualising. Results reveal that students generally performed at a medium level across all indicators, with the highest scores in imagining (M=62.97) and the lowest in conceptualising (M=47.05). These findings suggest that while students demonstrate some spatial reasoning capability, their conceptual understanding remains limited. The study highlights the importance of incorporating visualisation-focused strategies in geometry instruction to strengthen spatial reasoning and deeper comprehension of transformation concepts. Future research should explore the longitudinal impact of visual-spatial training and its role in developing higher-order geometrical thinking.

Abstract

The Ministry of Higher Education's Regulation No. 3, 2020, issued the MBKM curriculum as a foundation for learning development at the University. Since 2021, the mathematics education study program at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has been carrying out off-campus activities to support the MKBM curriculum. After 4 years of MBKM activities, the study program needs to survey to determine the effectiveness and usefulness of implementing the MBKM program. The purpose of this study is to describe the MBKM program and to find out the undergraduate students’ responses related to this. The research method is qualitative research with a survey method. The population was 288 undergraduate students in the mathematics study program, and the sample was 150. The instrument is a questionnaire to determine the effectiveness of the socialization of the MBKM program, the extent of understanding and perception of the MBKM curriculum, and its implementation. The results showed: 1) 27% of undergraduate students got information from the study program, 2) 78% of undergraduate students understood about the MBKM curriculum, and 3) more than 50% of undergraduate students agreed that outside-campus activities can improve teaching skills, mathematical content, and technology mastery. It was concluded that MBKM activities outside-campus positively impacted undergraduate students and need to continue. Recommendation: study programs need to conduct intense socialization about MBKM, and continue the outside-campus program, to train undergraduate students' pedagogical skills, content knowledge, and technology skills. Abstrak: Permen Ristek Dikti nomor 3 tahun 2020 menerbitkan kurikulum MBKM sebagai landasan pengembangan pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi. Program studi pendidikan matematika UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta telah melaksanakan kegiatan di luar kampus sejak tahun 2021 untuk mendukung kurikulum MKBM. Setelah 4 tahun kegiatan MBKM berlangsung, program studi perlu melakukan survei untuk mengetahui efektifitas dan kebermanfaatan program MBKM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kegiatan pada program MBKM dan mengetahui respon mahasiswa terkait dengan kegiatan MBKM yang telah dilaksanakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode survei. Populasinya sebanyak 288 mahasiswa aktif pada Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika,  sampel penelitian sebanyak 150. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Angket digunakan untuk mengetahui efektivitas sosialisasi program MBKM, tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap kurikulum MBKM dan persepsi  terhadap implementasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) 27% mahasiswa mendapatkan informasi  tentang  kurikulum MBKM dari program studi, 2) 78% mahasiswa memahami tentang kurikulum MBKM, dan 3) lebih dari 50% mahasiswa memahami menyatakan setuju bahwa kegiatan di luar kampus dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar, kemampuan konten matematika, dan meningkatkan penguasaan teknologi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan  bahwa kegiatan MBKM di luar kampus memberikan dampak positif bagi mahasiswa dan tetap dilaksanakan. Rekomendasi: program studi perlu melakukan sosialisasi tentang MBKM secara intens, dan tetap melanjutkan program MBKM di luar kampus, untuk melatih kemampuan pedagogis, pengetahuan konten matematika, dan kemampuan memanfaatkan teknologi mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a mathematics e-module using CBL based on Augmented Reality (AR) with Jakarta Ethnomathematics nuances that is valid, able to facilitate students' mathematical critical thinking skills, and get very good responses. The method used was the development method (R&D) with the Plomp model. The Plomp model consists of 3 phases, which are preliminary research, prototype phase, and assessment phase.  The results showed that in the preliminary research phase, the results of curriculum analysis, learner needs analysis, and task analysis were obtained so that a solution to improve critical thinking skills could be formulated. In the prototyping phase, an e-module was produced which had an average level of percentage score of material and media validity of 93.44% and 92.31% with “Very Valid” criteria. The posttest results showed that the e-module was able to facilitate students' critical thinking skills seen from the achievement of average completeness which was more than KKTP and classical proportion completeness of more than 75%. Mathematics e-modules using AR-based CBL with Jakarta Ethnomathematics nuances received a “Very Good” response from students of 96.63%. In conclusion, mathematics e-modules using AR-based CBL with Jakarta Ethnomathematics nuances are proven to be categorized as very valid, able to facilitate students' mathematical critical thinking skills, and this module is easy to use in the learning activity.   Keywords: Augmented Reality, Challenge Based Learning, Critical Thinking, E-Module, Ethnomathematics

Abstract

The advancement of software technology has led to the emergence of various mobile-based application development platforms such as App Inventor, Android Studio, Xamarin, Thunkable, Flutter, and SDK. However, their potential as media for mathematics learning remains underexplored. This study aims to develop an Android-based mobile learning application using Flutter for teaching algebra in junior high schools. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adopting the MOAM (Metodología para Desarrollar Objetos de Aprendizaje Móviles) model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, assessment, and publication. Data were collected through observations and interviews, followed by media trials involving 32 seventh-grade students from a selected junior high school in South Tangerang during the 2023–2024 academic year. Expert validation was conducted by mathematics education lecturers from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and junior high school mathematics teachers. The results showed high feasibility, with media and material assessments scoring 95% and 90%, respectively. Feedback from teachers and students also indicated strong approval, with ratings of 96% and 93%. The developed application is considered suitable for supporting algebra learning in junior high schools.   Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi perangkat lunak telah melahirkan berbagai platform pengembangan aplikasi berbasis mobile seperti App Inventor, Android Studio, Xamarin, Thunkable, Flutter, dan SDK. Namun, pemanfaatannya sebagai media pembelajaran matematika masih belum banyak dieksplorasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi pembelajaran mobile berbasis Android menggunakan Flutter untuk materi aljabar di tingkat SMP. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan MOAM (Metodología para Desarrollar Objetos de Aprendizaje Móviles) yang mencakup lima tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, penilaian, dan publikasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara, serta uji coba media melibatkan 32 siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP di Tangerang Selatan pada tahun ajaran 2023–2024. Validasi dilakukan oleh dosen Pendidikan Matematika UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta dan guru matematika SMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memperoleh penilaian sangat baik, dengan tingkat kelayakan media sebesar 95% dan materi sebesar 90%. Tanggapan guru dan siswa juga positif, masing-masing sebesar 96% dan 93%. Media ini dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran aljabar di SMP.
