Abstract

The purpose of this study are: describe the achievement levels of mathematical problem-solving abilities of students taught with cooperative learning strategies oriented type STAD in system of equations in two variables subject; describe the activity levels of students taught with cooperative learning STAD-oriented type of problem.This research was conducted experimental studies in State Junior High School 2 Lubuk Pakam. The selection of samples used as the experimental group and control group carried out at random (random sampling). Variables in this research is the application of cooperative learning-oriented type STAD whereas the dependent variable (dependent variable) is a mathematical problem-solving abilities of students.The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis intended to describe the results of students problem-solving skills, student activities, and student response to learning. Abstract

The research was conducted to find out how the project-based learning model with differentiated strategies has an influence on students' critical thinking skills. The study population was all X grade students totalling 11 classes at SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal. The sample used in this study amounted to 62 students with purposive sampling method and divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. While the experimental group, class X-3, applied differentiated strategy with Project Based Learning model, the control group, class X-2, used conventional learning. The results showed that students' critical thinking writing skills were significantly influenced by the project-based learning model with differentiated strategies. This can be seen from  (4.517)  (1.670). The contribution of the role of the Project Based Learning model with differentiated strategies is high, it can be seen in the effect size value which shows a contribution of 1.1472.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Interactive E-LKPD (student worksheet) with an Open-Ended approach. The subjects in this study were all students of class VIII-1 SMP Swasta Anugerah Harapan Bangsa. The object of this study is the development product of Interactive E-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet developed based on the Open-Ended approach. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In this study, the instruments used were in the form of creative thinking ability tests and observation sheets to measure the effectiveness, practicality, and validity of the products developed in the form of validation sheets, and student and teacher response questionnaires. The data analysis techniques carried out in this study are divided into two, qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the Interactive E-LKPD based on the Open-Ended Approach has fulfilled the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This can be seen from the following data: In the aspect of practicality obtained through student and teacher response questionnaires with student response questionnaire results of 96% and teacher response questionnaire results of 92%. In the effectiveness aspect, classical completeness reached ≥85% and the achievement of learning indicators reached ≥75% achieved by at least 65% of students.

Abstract

Abstract: Currently, students are expected to be able to keep up with technological advances, especially in the field of education, for this reason they must be able to learn from anywhere, both with online and offline learning systems. In this research, interactive teaching materials will be developed that can train students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The interactive teaching materials that will be developed are in the form of e-books that use the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model syntax. The aim of this research is to see the validity, practicality and effectiveness of teaching materials in the form of electronic books in improving the mathematical reasoning abilities of students majoring in mathematics education at Medan State University. After testing, a validity value of 4.7 was obtained for the media and 4.8 for the material developed, where this value was in the very feasible range. From the results of the student response questionnaire, a practicality score of 85.8% was obtained, where this category was within the practical category range. The effectiveness aspect is achieved if 75% of the formulated learning objectives can be achieved by 65% of students. Based on the completion score, there were 26 students who had completed individually or 86.6%.Keywords: PBL Model, e-book teaching materials, mathematical reasoning abilitiesAbstrak: Pada saat ini peserta didik diharapkan mampu mengikuti kemajuan teknologi terutama dalam bidang pendidikan, untuk itu mereka harus dapat belajar dari mana saja baik dengan sistem pembelajaran online maupun offline. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan bahan ajar interaktif yang dapat melatih kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Bahan ajar interaktif yang akan dikembangkan berupa e-book yang menggunakan sintaks model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan dari bahan ajar yang berbentuk buku elektronik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika Universitas Negeri Medan. Setelah dilakukan ujicoba maka diperoleh nilai kevalidan sebesar 4,7 untuk media dan 4,8 untuk materi yang dikembangkan, Dimana nilai tersebut ada dalam rentang sangat layak. Dari hasil angket respon mahasiswa diperoleh nilai kepraktisan sebesar 85,8% dimana kategori tersebut berada dalam rentang kategori praktis. Untuk aspek keefektifan tercapai apabila 75% tujuan pembelajaran yang dirumuskan dapat dicapai oleh 65% siswa. Berdasarkan nilai ketuntasan, ada 26 orang mahasiswa yang telah tuntas secara individual atau sebesar 86,6%.Kata kunci: Model PBL, Bahan Ajar, e-book, Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis.

Abstract

Research into the development of teaching materials in the form of interactive LKPD was motivated by students' lack of interest in working on mathematics problems other than those assigned by the lecturer. Therefore, they tend to be less able to solve a problem if given questions. With the LKPD, it is hoped that it will be able to train the development of cognitive aspects or all aspects of learning in the form of experimental guides or demonstrations. LKPD is a form of implementation by teachers who act as facilitators in learning. The application of LKPD can give students the opportunity to think actively and creatively to improve learning in achieving learning indicators and competencies. LKPD is given with the aim of actively involving students in learning activities, so that learning in the classroom is no longer teacher centered but student centered. For this reason, researchers use e-LKPD with the aim of making learning more fun and interactive. One of the advantages of e-LKPD is that it helps lecturers and students carry out learning independently at home because it can be accessed online without requiring face-to-face meetings. Apart from that, students can access text, image, audio and video content that cannot be contained in conventional LKPD. This research shows the following results: 1) the average validity given by media expert validators is 3.83 and material expert validators is 3.66, both of which are in the very valid category, 2) the practicality of the e-LKPD being developed is taken based on student response questionnaires. namely 92% which is in the very practical category, 3) the effectiveness of e-LKPD is obtained based on achieving classical completeness of 88.57% of students completing the material covered. given.
