Abstract

The recent Covid-19 pandemics situation has brought a lot of discussion on how to manage a supply chain in uncertainty since the dynamic of pandemics risk has altered the way a supply chain is organized. This research aims to identify, asses and manage the possible risks on supply chain that may occur in relation to production process of U-Hansa (USK Hand Sanitizer) following a high demand of hand sanitizer during the pandemics. This research performed risk breakdown structure to identify risks, evaluated the risks using risk matrix 5x5 (MIL-STD-882B) and create risk mapping using the big picture approach. This research revealed that there are 15 risks involved in U-Hansa production process that can potentially disrupt the whole supply chain process of U-Hansa. Factors such as raw material shortage during the Covid-19 lockdown, insufficient production capacity and the limitation of machinery and equipment to support the production contributes to the noticeable risk potential in the overall U-Hansa supply chain network. The overall findings of this research are expected to help the decision-making process that can be utilized in the post-Covid-19 pandemics setting.

Abstract

Tebes Lues Village, located in Bies District, Central Aceh Regency, is the only Coffee Village (Kampung Kopi) in the Aceh region. The village development concept focuses on empowering the community to manage coffee farming into value-added products through a community-based tourism (CBT) approach. However, several challenges hinder the development of Kampung Kopi Tebes Lues, including limited local knowledge regarding CBT implementation, the absence of a tourism management group, and the lack of legal certification for local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to sell their products in society at large. To address these issues, a series of activities were organized, engaging the active participation of community members, academics, facilitators, and practitioners. The implementation process was divided into three phases: preparation, execution, and monitoring and evaluation. Several outcomes were achieved, including product licensing documents, intellectual property (IP) registration for product branding, and the establishment of a tourism management group through collaborative discussions between the service team and the local community. Future steps involve collaboration with local government and continued community assistance to enhance tourism-based economic activities in Tebes Lues Village. Keywords: community-based tourism, community empowerment, Kampung Kopi Tebes Lues, village tourism. Kata kunci: community-based tourism, Kampung Kopi Tebes Lues, pariwisata desa, pemberdayaanmasyarakat.
