Abstract

Ekowisata secara garis besar mengakomodir beberapa aspek dalam pariwisata di antaranya ada upaya konservasi (destinasi/alam), adanya partisipasi masyarakat lokal sertanya adanya transfer budaya; termasuk di dalamnya nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam masyarakat. mengingat masyarakat Maluku utara adalah masyarakat multicultural dengan beragam adat dan budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi ekowisata yang dapat dikembangkan dalam upaya menjaga pariwisata berkelanjutan serta melihat pengembangan potensi-potensi tersebut oleh pemerintah daerah. Penggunaan metode peneilitian deskriptif, penelitian ini mencoba menggabungkan data  secara kuatitatif dan  kualitatif untuk memperoleh informasi ekowisata berbasis kearifan lokal di kabupaten Halmahera Barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan purposive sampling untuk menentukan lokasi yang representatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi ekowisata berbasis kearifan local masyarakat banyak tersebar pada objek-objek wisata di kabupaten Halmahera barat. sebagian besar lokasi di mana objek wisata seperti; Rappa pelangi, ake sahu, hutan mangrove gamtala, pulau damar, pantai lapasi, pulau fastofiri dan pulau domrotu selalu terdapat makam kuno yang selalu dijaga masyarakat sekitar dengan cara melakukan berbagai ritual. Ritual-ritual tersebut sendiri adalah berhubungan dengan sistem kepercayaan msyarakat. Dalam hal ini yang sangat dominan adalah kepercayaan terhadap makam-makam tua yang masih dipercaya oleh masyarakat hingga saat ini dan sebagian dikenal dengan sebuatan jere. Keberadaan makammakam yang banyak berada pada objek wisata ini membawa pengaruh pada pengelolaan lingkungan oleh masyarakat. hingga objek wisata tersebut sangat dijaga (konservasi) oleh masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Ekowisata, Kearifan Lokal, Pariwisata Berkelanjutan

Abstract

Against the backdrop of increasing competition in life, everyone is busy with routine, resulting in tension, boredom and boredom, so they use their free time as time to restore mental health to gain fresh thinking and calm. One form of leisure activity carried out is traveling. The tourist activities currently carried out vary greatly, each person who goes on a tourist trip has different motivations. There are several factors that motivate travel, including entertainment, education, health and business. Tourism activities are closely related to visitor motivation. The motivation for traveling is traveling to obtain a temporary life in the natural environment. The aim is to determine the motivation of tourists to climb Mount Gamalama. Quantitative method to obtain data on the motivation of tourists to climb Mount Gamalama. While qualitative is for analyzing. Findings from 72 respondents: 24 tourists chose number 5, which is very important because the attraction of Mount Gamalama is one of the main factors that attracts tourists and 29 respondents chose number 4 on the grounds of pristine natural beauty, beautiful natural scenery, being able to see the sunrise, the expanse of the islands. The island can be seen from a height and the main factor is Mount Merapi which is still active today

Abstract

This writing aims to (1) To find out the efforts made by the Marketing Division of the Ternate City Tourism Office in increasing tourist visits in Ternate City (2) To find out the impact of marketing and promotions carried out by the Marketing Sector of the Ternate City Tourism Office. In this writing the author uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The benefits of this final assignment report for students are gaining experience and skills from the world of work and industry in accordance with the study program, Khairun University getting useful input for improving the curriculum in accordance with employment needs, and the Ternate City Tourism Office getting alternative prospective employees. Has been known for its quality and credibility. From the results of the discussion, to introduce Ternate City tourism, marketing and promotion of existing tourism must be carried out. Marketing and promotion are very important activities and must be carried out by the Ternate City Tourism Office to introduce and develop tourism in Ternate City. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Data presentation uses interpretive descriptive techniques. These results show that the efforts made by the Marketing Sector of the Ternate City Tourism Office have had a very positive impact on tourist visits. To attract the attention of tourists, make tourists feel at home and want to return, it is recommended that the Marketing Division of the Ternate City Tourism Office develop activities at existing tourist attractions so that the videos or photos used for publications match reality to avoid tourist disappointment.
