Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis CTL pada materi pokok cahaya dan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan perangkat pembelajaran tersebut terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas VIII. Penelitian ini adalah Quasi eksperimental dengan menggunakan metode penelitian R&D. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuripan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikan 5%. Rata-rata nilai N-Gain diperoleh melalui data posttest dan pretest. Hasil peneilitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis CTL yang telah dikembangkan pada materi pokok cahaya berpengaruh terhadap peningkatkan prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas VIII. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis CTL, Prestasi Belajar.Abstract. The aims of this research is to develop CTL based instructional instrument on light concept  and to know the effect of CTL based instructional instrument’s application to increase eighth years student physics achievement. The design is a quasi-experimental research and used R&D method. Research subject was eighth years students at Junior High School 1 Kuripan. Data were analyzed using t test at significant level 5%. The average value of N-Gain obtained through pretest and posttest data. This indicates that the application of CTL based instructional instrument on light concept has effect to increase eighth student physics achievement.  Keywords: Development, CTL Based Instructional Instrument, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menngkaji tentang pengaruh yang ditimbulkan oleh bimbingan kelompok untuk anak usia dini terhadap perkembangan motorik anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Untuk mengetahui  kemampuan motorik anak. 2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok dalam meningkatkan perkembangan motorik peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian yang akan di Taman Kanak-Kanak Nunang Antara Kecamatan Bebesen dan waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester I tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 19 anak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada Test awal kemampuan melakukan gerakan dasar motorik anak adalah 30% termasuk dalam kategori kurang. Pada Siklus I nilai rata-ratanya meningkat menjadi 40% termasuk dalam  kriteria masih kurang. Pada Siklus II rata-rata kemampuan anak didik meningkat menjadi 77% termasuk dalam kriteria baik.

Abstract

Wastewater from the tanning industry has relatively high Cr, COD, and TSS metal pollutants. According to the regulation of the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia No. 5 of 2014 concerning the quality standard of wastewater for industrial activities, the standard quality value is 0.6 mg/L of Cr, 110 mg/L of COD, and 60 mg/L of TSS. This research aimed to determine the effect of electrode distance and voltage on reducing Cr, COD, and TSS levels in the wastewater from the tanning industry using batch electrocoagulation. The electrocoagulation method used in this research with fixed variables was the number of 2 plate electrodes and the changing variables; it was the distance between the electrodes (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3 cm) and the electric voltage (3, 6 and 9 volts). The research was conducted on a laboratory scale in batches with a capacity of 10 litres. The electrodes used were aluminium (Al) as the anode and the cathode in plates. The analysis showed that the highest percentage reduction in COD reached 88.8889% and the highest Cr reached 83.4712% occurred at a distance of 2 cm with 9 volts voltage, the highest percentage reduction in TSS reached 85.0746% with a distance of 3 cm with 9 volts voltage. From the results of this research, it could be concluded that the electrocoagulation method in the batch electrocoagulator was efficient enough to reduce the levels of Cr, COD, and TSS with variable electrode distance and electric voltage.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of the natural exploration method  on senior high school students' interest and learning motivation on biodiversity concepts. This method is thought to provide a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience through student involvement with the surrounding environment. The study was conducted on grade X students at one of the senior high schools in Tangerang Regency, Indonesia with 145 grade X students as research subjects, using a qualitative descriptive approach in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data were collected through observation and Likert scale questionnaires. The results showed that the application of the natural exploration method increased students' interest and motivation. The highest percentage of interest in learning was found in the statement that the exploration method makes biodiversity learning more interesting (53.8%), while the highest learning motivation was seen in students who felt more enthusiastic about learning biodiversity after the exploration activity (53.8%). However, some students admitted that they had difficulty understanding the teacher's explanation (33.8%) and rarely looked for additional information (40.1%). In conclusion, the natural exploration method is effective in increasing students' interest and motivation in learning, although improvements are still needed in several aspects of learning.
