Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara agraris perlu menjamin penyediaan lahan pertanian pangan secara berkelanjutan sebagai sumber pekerjaan dan penghidupan yang layak dengan mengedepankan prinsip efisiensi, berkelanjutan, dan kemandirian serta berwawasan lingkungan. Disisi lain semakin meningkatnya pertambahan penduduk dengan laju pertumbuhan yang cukup tinggi sekitar 1,41,5% per tahun serta perkembangan ekonomi dan industri mengakibatkan terjadinya degradasi dan alih fungsi lahan pertanian sehingga mempengaruhi daya dukung secara nasional dalam menjaga kemandirian dan ketahanan pangan. Berdasarkan pada latar belakang tersebut, dikembangkan sistem dan metodologi pemetaan kesesuaian lahan dengan menggunakan pendekatan spasial dan temporal. Adapun tujuan yang hendak dicapai adalah, pertama analisis kesesuaian lahan pertanian berdasarkan dengan jenis komoditas pertanian dan informasi iklim, kedua evaluasi keselarasan tata guna lahan pertanian dan perencanaan wilayah tata ruang, ketiga analisis dan pemetaan degradasi area pertanian berdasarkan data tahun 19902010, keempat evaluasi Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW), dan kelima penyusunan strategi dan kebijakan yang tepat sesuai dengan pemanfaatan lahan untuk pertanian berkelanjutan dan cadangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi survei deskriptif, analisis data spasial dan temporal menggunakan G* statistic. Range nilai yang digunakan untuk pengklasifikasian menggunakan pedoman dari dokumen agroecological zone.

Abstract

Pemetaan dan Invetarisasi Lahan Kritis Kawasan Muria dimaksudkan untuk menyusun  sistem  database  sebagai ruang pengalokasian data-data tentang lahan kritis di Kawasan Muria dan diharapkan dapat digunakan pula untuk merencanakan  kegiatan rehabilitasi lahan kritis di kawasan Muria. Mengingat dikawasan Muria saat ini luasan lahan kritis yang ada cukup besar dan apabila dibiarkan dan tidak ditangani akan mengakibatkan terjadinya penurunan daya dukung lingkungan dan penurunan produktivitas lahan Adanya pemetaan Lahan Kritis ini dapat digunakan untuk merencanakan kegiatan rehabilitasi hutan dan lahan untuk kelestarian lingkungan serta meningkatkan produktivitas lahan untuk ketahanan pangan. Didalam pembuatan pemetaan Lahan kritis ini digunakan perangkat lunak berbasis sistem informasi geografis (GIS). Database sarana dan prasarana bidang lahan kritis tersebut dikelola dalam sistem informasi yang dapat divisualisasikan dan di update, sehingga  mudah disimpan dan digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Metode kerja yang dilakukan untuk analisa lahan kritis adalah berdasarkan atas Petunjuk Teknis Penyusunan Data Spasial Lahan Kritis tahun 2004 oleh Direktorat Jenderal Rehabilitasi Lahan dan Perhutanan Sosial (RLPS).Dari hasil pemetaan lahan kritis di kawasan Muria dapat dijadikan landasan untuk melakukan rehabilitasi dan konservasi dengan pendekatan agroforestri selain melestarikan lingkungan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan pangan. Abstract

Ploso Village, Jati Subdistrict is one of the villages around the Gelis watershed, which is quite dense and some of the residents have a business of making tofu and raising cattle and goats. So far, the people of Ploso Village are not familiar with verticulture technology by utilizing household waste and industrial waste. The purpose of community service activities is to introduce verticulture technology by utilizing inorganic and organic waste around the Gelis Riverbanks, Ploso Village, Jati District, Kudus Regency. Through community service activities, it is hoped that it can prevent and increase public awareness not to throw garbage along the Gelis River. The result of community service activities in Ploso Village is that the community understands and can practice verticulture technology by utilizing inorganic waste as a container for verticulture planting and organic waste for materials for making planting media.

Abstract

The prioritized  subwatersheds are comprised of seven subwatersheds that have been declared critical within the 52 subwatersheds in the Muria Mountains. An area of approximately 11,000 ha, the topography of the prioritized  subwatersheds is wavy—the typical slope ranges from 25 to 45%—and susceptible to erosion. The purpose of this research was to evaluate agroforestry cropping patterns to support soil conservation and reclamation on critical lands. This study is a quantitative description of research conducted through survey. The results show that most of the researched area has Inceptisols soil type with sandy, clay, and loam textures. The nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, C-organic, and organic matter contents are relatively low while the vegetation Diversity Index is categorized as medium. Sengon trees dominate in the prioritized  subwatersheds area, followed by mahogany, coffee, and teak with average Importance Values of 89.57, 60.24, 78.40, and 21.03, respectively. This research shows that an agroforestry system comprised of sengon trees and coffee is ideally applied in the prioritized  subwatersheds. Coffee requires shade and reduces rain-induced erosion; sengon trees function as a shade while at the same time contributing to the soil as a source of nutrients. During rains, this combined agroforestry system is able to control surface runoff and soil erosion. A sengon/coffee-tree based agroforestry system is ecologically friendly and appropriate for development in the prioritized  subwatersheds.

Abstract

Ploso Village, Jati District, Kudus is one of the tofu production centers in Kudus, there are about 30 tofu industries. The existence of a tofu factory will cause waste problems, both liquid waste, and solid waste. The percentage of solid waste in the form of tofu dregs is around 70% and is currently not widely used. This solid waste will cause environmental pollution if it is not used immediately. Tofu waste contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, and organic carbon (C) which can be used as compost to increase soil and plant fertility. Community service activities with the title "Utilization of Tofu Dregs Waste into Compost in the Tofu Industry in Ploso Village, Jati District, Kudus Regency" resulted in a model of utilizing tofu solid waste into compost that can be used for plant cultivation in Ploso Village or on a larger scale it can be commercialized so that it can increase people's income.

Abstract

Kualitas dan daya saing lulusan serta relevansi pendidikan di Perguruan Tinggi telah menjadi tuntutan pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan (stakeholders) dalam memberikan kontribusi nyata di dunia kerja dan meningkatkan daya saing bangsa. Peningkatan kualitas dan daya saing lulusan harus mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan ketrampilan hidup serta kemampuan beradaptasi dan belajar sepanjang hayat. Metode untuk meningkatkan relevansi lulusan dapat ditemukan melalui pengguna lulusan. Untuk menampung masukan pengguna lulusan maka diperlukan sebuah sistem terkomputerisasi berbasis internet (web) hal ini diperlukan mengingat komunikasi melalui internet tidak lagi mengenal jarak dan waktu. Penelitian ini adalah rancang bangun sistem informasi alumni berbasis web yang mampu menampung masukan dari pengguna lulusan untuk relevansi lulusan dengan dunia kerja. Selain itu hasil dari masukan pengguna lulusan akan dapat digunakan sebagai perbaikan kurikulum.

Abstract

Corona Virus or Covid-19 (Corona Virus Disease-19) has been defined by WHO (World Health Organization) as a new type of disease caused by infection with the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2). Corona virus has a high transmission rate, and can cause death in the elderly and individuals with serious illnesses. Patients infected with the virus initially show symptoms like the common cold (fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat) muscle aches, headaches) but if not treated immediately will lead to severe symptoms such as diarrhea and pneumonia. Even some patients who have a history of comorbidities if they are infected can be at risk of death. The government has issued a policy in the form of a health protocol that must be implemented by every individual as a step to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19. One type of the protocol implements Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). Singocandi Village is one of the villages located in Kota District, Kudus. The large number of community activities that residents participate in has the potential to spread the Covid-19 outbreak. The implementation of the Health protocol in Singocandi Village has not been fully implemented, this is due to a lack of information regarding how to apply the Health protocol properly and correctly. Based on the results obtained, the enthusiasm of the community from the extension activities was very good, this can be seen from the formation of clean and healthy behavior activities (PHBS) and the implementation of health protocols in every activity carried out in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Coffee roasting is a step in shaping the aroma and flavor of coffee beans, which is done through heating at high temperatures. Only now, information on the optimal roasting method to create quality coffee is limited. In some conditions, there is a decrease in coffee quality due to the overroast process. This study was conducted to determine the effect of temperature and roasting time on changes in the physical properties of Robusta coffee. The research design used was a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the treatment of variations in temperature and roasting time consisting of three levels, namely roasting temperature consisting of 100 °C, 110 °C, and 120 °C. In contrast, the roasting time consisted of 75 minutes, 80 minutes, and 85 minutes. Each treatment was replicated three times so that 27 experimental units were obtained. Based on the results of research on temperature treatment and roasting time, 100 °C treatment for 85 minutes gave better results on the parameters of water content, solubility, color, taste, and overall. It was followed by 110 °C temperature treatment for 75 minutes.
