Abstract

Globalization is the result of technological progress and innovation. Advances in technology have opened the door for increasing the volume of international trade through globalization. With such developing technology, it has made international transactions an easier and faster process for all countries to use. This is unavoidable because countries often have their own environment, so that globalization in this case has implications for expansion beyond national borders. The method of writing literature review articles is the library research method which originates from online media such as Google Scholar, Mendeley and other academic online media. Through this article, the author will reveal the influence of globalization on the Indonesian economic sector. The results confirm that an unbalanced reliance on careless international transactions can threaten local businesses, but also support Indonesian products that are known in other countries. This study shows that globalization in general has a very large positive impact on Indonesia, but the government as a whole must be aware of the negative impacts that can cause losses to local businesses due to globalization.

Abstract

Currency transactions require justification in the study of Fiqh Muamalah because the buying and selling of foreign currencies is very closely related to the functioning of the world economy and cannot be separated. Foreign currency is foreign currency such as US dollars, pounds, ringgit, and others. Efficient currency markets mean that future changes in exchange rates are unpredictable. The marketing activities of an international company are often organized as a separate and independent function within the company.

Abstract

Indonesia menjalankan sistem nilai tukar mengambang, yaitu nilai tukar yang sangat mempengaruhi situasi pasar secara umum, sehingga tingkat nilai tukar di Indonesia sangat bergantung pada tingkat permintaan dan penawaran di pasar uang. Kenaikan permintaan mata uang biasanya tergantung pada permintaan transaksi uang atau kenaikan permintaan uang spekulatif. Di sisi lain, pasar valuta asing yang efisien memerlukan sedikit campur tangan pemerintah dan operator pasar valuta asing tidak dapat memperoleh keuntungan. Ini tidak biasa dalam perdagangan valas kecuali pemain bersedia mengambil risiko transaksi. Itulah mengapa penting untuk mengetahui seberapa efisien pasar saat ini, baik di pihak pemerintah maupun di pihak pelaku pasar.

Abstract

At this time, international trade has become an important part of business development. This is demonstrated by the development of multinational companies. International trade is the exchange of products between countries. This entails buying and selling of products between other countries, as well as transactions between people from different countries. This research data collection approach is a secondary data collection technique. Data collection in research research was carried out by means of a literature study. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis, namely by describing the data qualitatively in the form of sentences and statements to make it easier to read and understand the data. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the main factors influencing international trade in the State of Indonesia with the current conditions are the potential of the State of Indonesia in producing or the resources it owns as well as requests from other countries. exports, foreign tourists and e-commerce which can increase the amount of national income of the State of Indonesia. In addition, the negative impact of globalization on international trade in Indonesia is an increase in the number of imports, economic inequality and acceptance of foreign culture which can reduce the amount of national income of the Indonesian state and kill local industries in Indonesia.

Abstract

Social media influencers are an effective marketing instrument on social media. This research looks at how social media influencers build audience expectations through the content they are sharing, to the reality that audiences get as tourists. This research used an explanatory qualitative method and conducted in-depth interviews with 20 interviewees to get primary data. The researcher observed that social media influencers are used by the tourism sector in Lake Toba to promote tourism destinations by inviting influencers to attract audiences to visit by expecting the same experience when viewing the influencers' content. The results of this study indicate that the role of influencers is very important to promote tourism destinations and help to direct and provide information to the audience from the travel experiences shared by them so as to influence the perception, interest in visiting, and travel decisions of tourists.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui seberapa besar program generasi berencana berdampak pada remaja dalam pembentukan human capital agar menjadi bekal remaja untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri sehingga dapat tercapainya kehidupan yang sejahtera. Program ini berfokus pada pembentukan human capital yang dilaksanakan genre untuk remaja. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisis data yaitu analisis SWOT. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi partisipasi dan dokumentasi, dan peneliti terlibat langsung dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan dari Program GenRe dan tinjauan kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program genre memberikan dampak positif kepada remaja yang telah mengikuti program ini sehingga banyak sekali manfaat yang di dapat remaja dari program ini. hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan pengaruh positif kepada remaja sehingga menjadi bekal remaja sebelum melanjutkan kehidupan yang sejahtera dengan dibekali human capital sejak remaja diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi bonus demografi dan mendorong remaja untuk menciptakan inovasi mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan teknologi.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of students' knowledge levels in the Library and Information Science program on their talent management as future job seekers. In an increasingly information-driven era, students' knowledge and competencies play a pivotal role in preparing them for success in the job market. The research methodology employed is a case study involving students in the Library and Information Science program as the sample. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews with students and faculty to understand how their knowledge influences the talent management process. Data analysis was conducted using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the study indicate that the knowledge acquired by students in the Library and Information Science program significantly influences their talent management process. Students with broader and deeper knowledge tend to be better prepared and more confident in managing their talents. Interviews also revealed the pivotal role of faculty in assisting students in developing their knowledge and talents.

Abstract

Nostalgia marketing refers to a marketing technique that leverages elements of the past. This strategy aims to evoke memories, triggering emotional responses that influence consumers' willingness to pay for a product. Netflix, as one of the major companies with a strong brand image, also employs nostalgia marketing strategies. Brand image represents the perception formed in consumers' minds regarding a particular brand. This study aims to examine the influence of nostalgia marketing and brand image on willingness to pay. The influence of nostalgia marketing and brand image will be analyzed both partially and simultaneously in relation to the willingness to pay of Netflix users in Medan. This research used a quantitative approach with an associative design. The population of this study consists of Netflix users in Medan, with a sample size of 96 respondents, determined through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include primary data, obtained through direct distribution of questionnaires, and secondary data, gathered from literature studies. The analysis methods applied are validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and determination tests, all processed using SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that Nostalgia Marketing (X1) and Brand Image (X2) have a significant partial and simultaneous effect on Willingness to Pay (Y). The determination coefficient test results show a strong relationship between nostalgia marketing and brand image, with an R-value of 0.762. Based on the Adjusted R Square value, it is shown that the variables nostalgia marketing and brand image contribute 57.2%, while the remaining 42.8% is influenced by factors outside of this research model. Nostalgia marketing merupakan sebuah teknik pemasaran memanfaatkan elemen-elemen masa lalu. Strategi marketing bertujuan membangkitkan kenangan masa lalu sehingga menimbulkan sisi emosional yang akan memengaruhi tingkat kesediaan membayar sebuah produk. Netflix merupakan salah satu perusahaan besar yang sudah memiliki brand image yang kuat dan juga melakukan strategi nostalgia marketing. Brand image merupakan citra yang tercipta di benak konsumen mengenai suatu merek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh nostalgia marketing dan brand image terhadap willingness to pay. Pengaruh nostalgia marketing dan brand image dianalisis secara parsial dan simultan terhadap willingness to pay pada pengguna layanan Netflix di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitaif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan pengguna layanan Netflix di kota Medan dan sampel ditetapkan berjumlah 96 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung dan data skunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, reliabilitas, asumsi klasik, regresi linear berganda, uji parsial, uji simultan dan uji determinasi yang diolah melalui Software SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Nostalgia Marketing (X1) dan Brand Image (X2) berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial dan simultan terhadap Willingness To Pay (Y). Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang erat antara nostalgia marketing dan brand image dengan nilai R sebesar 0,762. Berdasarkan nilai Adjusted R Square menunjukkan bahwa variabel nostalgia marketing dan brand image berkontribusi sebesar 57,2%, sedangkan 42,8% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor diluar model penelitian ini.

Abstract

A well-managed company is one that strives to enhance human resource potential, as this is a key factor in improving employee work quality. This study analyzes the impact of work-life balance and employee break rooms on employee work quality at PT Torganda Kandir Medan, both partially and simultaneously. Using a quantitative approach with an associative method, the study involved 71 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and literature reviews. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that work-life balance and employee break rooms have a significant impact on employee work quality, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination test shows a strong relationship, with an R value of 91.6%, while the adjusted R square is 83.4%, with the remaining 16.6% influenced by other factors outside the research model. Perusahaan yang baik adalah perusahaan yang berupaya untuk meningkatkan potensi sumber daya manusia, karena hal tersebut merupakan faktor utama dalam meningkatkan kualitas kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan employee break room terhadap kualitas kerja karyawan di PT Torganda Kandir Medan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 71 responden yang dipilih melalui simple random sampling. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, asumsi klasik, regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan employee break room berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas kerja karyawan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan hubungan kuat dengan nilai R sebesar 91,6%, sementara adjusted R square sebesar 83,4%, dengan 16,6% dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar model penelitian.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how talent management impacts employee retention. This research uses quantitative and qualitative approach with literature review as the data collection method, so the data obtained is secondary data. Based on the 10 research articles that have been collected, talent management strategy influences employee retention, which is also related to employee satisfaction and engagement in an organization. The results showed that employee satisfaction and employee engagement positively influence employee retention. Employee satisfaction and involvement can be in the form of work fields that match their skills and knowledge, compensation given in accordance with workload, superior leadership and organizational culture, supervisor support and attention, as well as supportive communication in the work environment. The conclusion is that it is important for organizations to implement effective talent management strategies in managing their employees.
