Abstract

Dalam menjalankan usahanya sebuah perusahaan pasti menghadapi ketidakpastian yang tidak dapat dihindari dalam operasi perusahaan. Manajemen risiko operasional perlu diterapkan guna mengelola ketidakpastian tersebut untuk meminimalisir risiko yang akan terjadi baik dari dalam maupun luar perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan menganalisis risiko operasional yang terjadi serta mengetahui dan menganalisis penerapan manajemen risiko operasional pada Fido Dido Guesthouse dan Restaurant. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko operasioal yang terjadi pada Fido Dido Guesthouse dan Restaurant yaitu risiko proses internal meliputi terjadinya kesalahan transaksi, risiko manusia meliputi kelalaian dan ketidaktelitian karyawan, risiko sistem meliputi informasi konsumen yang tidak sesuai dan pencairan dana yang relatif lama, risiko eksternal meliputi risiko bencana alam, pandemic covid-19 dan listrik PLN yang sering mati. Dengan penerapan manajemen risiko operasional yang cukup baik, perusahaan dapat bertahan dan terus berkembang hingga saat ini.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the largest industrial sectors and drivers of the world economy that is vulnerable to disasters. The spread of covid-19 causes tourist destinations to rely heavily on the presence of domestic tourists, especially for safety and health reasons for the younger generation. This research aims to understand the travel decisions of the younger generation after the pandemic in domestic tourist destinations. This research is qualitative in nature with a case study approach. Researchers determined informants who are members of the Millennial Generation and Generation Z by conducting in-depth interviews and collecting secondary data through informants' personal social media. The research results are divided into three phases, namely the pre-travel phase, the phase during the trip, and the post-travel phase. The researcher concluded that after the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a change in the decision-making process of young people who were influenced by social media.

Abstract

The development of international business activities coincides with the widespread phenomenon of market globalization (Cavusgil, Knight, & Riesenberger, 2008). Market globalization refers to the growing economic integration and growing interdependence of countries around the world. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the implications of globalization for international business. The study population consists of four empirical cases: strategies of ICT producers to cope with globalization, strategies used by Brazilian companies to survive China's challenges due to globalization, strategies for globalization and corporate real estate. This method allows researchers to select cases that have the desired information or required characteristics that are useful in achieving research objectives. The internationalization of companies refers to the tendency of companies to systematically increase the international scope of their business activities, whereas globalization refers to the macrotrend-intensive economic relations between the countries of the world. Globalization is driving companies to internationalize and substantially increase the volume and type of cross-border transactions in goods, services, and capital. Also, globalization leads to the rapid spread and diffusion of products, technology and knowledge in the world. The process of globalization is a natural process which is the result of the growth and acceleration of the process of character generalization and production processes.

Abstract

In the midst of the onslaught of global culture, nationalism is a fundamental issue. To awaken the spirit of nationalism in the younger generation, it is necessary to instill exemplary values. This is very important because, without being based on a sense of nationalism, the spirit to work, unite, and achieve the goals of developing the country will never be achieved. This research uses literature study research methods. A sense of nationalism is very important for Indonesia's young generation to be able to become an advanced nation, a modern nation, a safe, peaceful, just and prosperous nation in the midst of globalization which is increasingly challenging the Indonesian state. As a nation and state among other nations in the world, it requires a high identity of nationalism from its citizens, especially among the younger generation of Indonesia. The spirit of nationalism is still needed by the existence of the Indonesian nation and state. High nationalism from citizens or the younger generation will make positive and best behavior for the nation and state. In the current era of globalization there are several tendencies to diminish the spirit of nationalism among the younger generation. This can be seen from a number of benchmarks, namely the lack of appreciation of the younger generation for native Indonesian culture, patterns and lifestyles of westernized youth, and so on. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to have an intensive and continuous movement in the world of education related to instilling a sense of nationalism in students from elementary to tertiary levels which must be carried out by teachers and lecturers in a way that respects and is proud of the original Indonesian culture.

Abstract

Ketika melakukan transaksi secara online maka konsumen tidak dapat mengetahui bentuk asli dari produk yang dibelinya, sehingga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi calon konsumen, pencarian informasi didapatkan melalui e-WOM dalam bentuk online customer review yang menyampaikan sebuah informasi melalui internet.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh online customer review terhadap minat beli pada pengguna TikTok Shop di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Peneliti memeperoleh data primer melalui wawancara dan observasi secara langsung kepada konsumen pada TikTok Shop di Kota Medan dan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen-dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa online customer review sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan minat beli pada konsumen di TikTok Shop. Review yang ada pada TikTok Shop memberikan banyak manfaat untuk konsumen salah satunya adalah membantu konsumen dalam proses pencarian informasi mengenai produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika, review positif mempengaruhi kepercayaan konsumen sehingga meningkatkan minat beli terhadap suatu produk. Peneliti juga melihat kecenderungan konsumen untuk membaca hasil review sebelum membeli suatu produk. Hal ini berarti bahwa jika online customer review yang diberikan pelanggan sebelumnya baik maka dapat menimbulkan keyakinan, sikap dan perilaku dalam timbulnya minat beli secara online..
