Abstract

Introduction: Most of the elderly who have spouses have a high level of spiritual well-being, but some also have moderate and low levels of spiritual well-being. This is also experienced by the elderly who do not have a life partner, some have moderate and low levels of spiritual well-being, but some also have high levels of high spiritual well-being. Purpose: this study aims to determine the difference in the spiritual well-being of the elderly who have a spouse and without a spouse. Place of Research: Rejosari Health Center Working Area. Methods: This study used a quantitative design using a comparative study method. The approach used was cross sectional. Results: There is no difference in the level of spiritual well-being of the elderly who have a spouse and without a spouse (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.228, 0.05). Conclusion: There is no difference in the level of spiritual well-being of the elderly who have spouses and those without spouses. Suggestion: Future researchers can examine the factors that affect the spiritual well-being of the elderly with or without a spouse.

Abstract

Introduction: Mental emotional development that is not good will have several impacts on children, especially in the maturation of their character. This results in emotional mental disorders which can be in the form of high-risk behaviors such as feeling unhappy, having difficulty establishing relationships with other people, and so on. Method. Research using a simple descriptive research design. The population in this study were parents of elementary school children in the Sri Meranti Village area, the number of samples in this study were 210 respondents, taken using an accidental sampling technique. Results. The results obtained from this study indicate that around (80.0%) children experience mental emotional disorders which are in the normal range on the difficulty score, while on the strength score (proportional) it is found that approximately (82.4%) experience mental emotional disorders at normal range. Conclusion. The conclusions obtained in children with mental emotional disorders are in the normal range both in difficulty scores and strength scores (proportional).

Abstract

Kemampuan bahasa adalah salah satu perkembangan dasar yang harus dicapai oleh anak, termasuk anak usia toddler sesuai dengan usia dan karakteristiknya. Tujuan:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perkembangan bahasa anak usia 12-24 bulan. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan sampel 94 responden yang diambil dengan purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Kuesioner Pra Skrinning Perkembangan (KPSP). Analisis yang digunakan analisis univariat untuk melihat distribusi frekuensi karakteristik responden, dan gambaran perkembangan bahasa anak usia 12-24 bulan. Hasil: Responden sebagian besar berada pada kelompok usia 26-35 tahun (63,8%), pendidikan terakhir adalah SMA (59,6%), mayoritas responden adalah Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT) (84,0%), sebagian besar anak responden berjenis kelamin laki-laki (52,1%), anak responden sebagian besar berada pada usia 24 bulan (29,8%). Perkembangan bahasa anak usia 12-24 bulan mayoritas dalam kategori sesuai perkembangan namun ada masing-masing 1 anak (1,1%) usia 12-14 bulan dan usia 21-23 bulan yang mengalami perkembangan bahasa yang tidak sesuai perkembangan. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini mengharapkan agar ibu yang mempunyai anak usia 12-24 bulan, tetap melakukan stimulasi untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan bahasa anak.

Abstract

Perubahan fisik seperti bentuk tubuh, tinggi badan, berat badan, perubahan suara serta perkembangan mammae akan menjadi bagian dari body image remaja. Pencapaian body image yang positif merupakan salah satu tugas perkembangan psikososial yang berperan penting pada masa remaja. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi body image remaja adalah jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan jenis kelamin dengan body image remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 340 remaja yang berusia 14-18 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebagian besar usia responden berusia 16 tahun (42,9%), berjenis kelamin perempuan (58,5%), dan memiliki body image positif (51,5%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin (p value (0,119) > α) dengan body image remaja. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan jenis kelamin dengan body image remaja. Remaja diharapkan mampu membangun body image yang positif dalam kondisi apapun dan mampu menerima diri sendiri.

Abstract

Imunisasi merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan kekebalan tubuh terhadap suatu penyakit pada anak. Orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam pemberian imunisasi, dimana peran orang tua berkaitan erat dengan kelengkapan imunisasi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi, sikap serta kelengkapan pemberian imunisasi pada anak dimasa COVID-19. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah 96 orang responden yang diambil berdasarkan kriteria inklusi menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kuesioner persepsi dan sikap yang dimodifikasi dari kuesioner penelitian sebelumnya, serta kuesioner pemberian imunisasi pada anak dan analisa data menggunakan analisa univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki persepsi positif sebanyak 51%. Responden dengan persepsi positif terdapat 26% memberikan imunisasi tidak lengkap, dan responden dengan persepsi negatif sebanyak 26% juga memberikan imunisasi tidak lengkap. Responden memiliki sikap positif sebanyak 52,1%. Responden dengan sikap positif sebanyak 27,1% memberikan imunisasi tidak lengkap dan responden dengan sikap negatif sebanyak 25% juga memberikan imunisasi tidak lengkap. Kesimpulanya bahwa Persepsi serta sikap orang tua berada pada kategori positif dan pemberian imunisasi pada anak masih cenderung tidak lengkap. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi sumber informasi bagi masyarakat agar dapat memberikan imunisasi yang lengkap pada anak-anak.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the implementation of the integrated healthcare center. cadre behavior in preventing COVID-19 transmission When integrated healthcare center activities are needed so that integrated healthcare center activities continue to run according to health protocols. Methods:This type of research is quantitative using a descriptive correlation research design and a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique was purposive sampling as many as 76 respondents. The analysis used was bivariate analysis with chi square test. Results: The results showed that predisposing factors related to cadre behavior were knowledge (p value = 0.000) and attitudes (p value = 0.003) while the unrelated factor was culture (p value = 0.365). The enabling behavior of cadres in preventing COVID-19 transmission during integrated healthcare center activities for toddlers is the availability of facilities and infrastructure (p value = 0.002), while the unrelated factor is access to integrated healthcare centers (p value = 0.942). The reinforcement related to the behavior of cadres was the support of health workers (p value = 0.005) while unrelated was the support of community leaders (p value = 0.443). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that knowledge, attitudes, availability of facilities and infrastructure and support of health workers were related to cadre behavior, while habits, access to posyandu and support from community leaders were not related to cadre behavior.

Abstract

The development of independence in preschool children (3-6 years) cannot be separated from the role of the family, especially the mother. One of the factors that influence a child's independence is the mother's age, mother's education, mother's occupation, mother's religion and mother's ethnicity. Therefore, this study aims to identify the relationship between maternal stimulation and the development of independence in preschool-aged children. The design of this research is descriptive correlational, the data collection tool is using the Pre-Screening Questionnaire (KPSP), data analysis is univariate and bivariate analysis, the sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The population in this study were all mothers who had preschool age children in Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City. The total sample in this study was 100 respondents. The results of the research were 55 mothers (55%) who received stimulation in the good category and 68 children (68%) who received stimulation in the appropriate category. The chi-square test results obtained p value (0.000) α (0.05), which means that H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between maternal stimulation and the development of independence in preschool children.

Abstract

Leukemia in children is a traumatic experience that impacts the family, especially parents. Severe symptoms increase the burden of caregiving and can trigger stress, which is influenced by parental resilience. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting stress and the resilience of parents of children with leukemia at Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru Hospital. Method: This research uses a correlational design with a cross-sectional method. The research sample consisted of 78 respondents, namely parents of children with leukemia. This research's bivariate analysis used the Fisher's Exact Test. Results: The majority of respondents were aged 26-35 years (early adulthood), namely 40 respondents (51.3%), 47 respondents (60.3%) were female, 31 respondents (39.7%) had completed tertiary education, came from outpatient rooms, namely 52 respondents (66.7%). The results of statistical tests showed that there was a significant relationship between parenting stress and the resilience of parents of children with leukemia at Arifin Achmad Regional Hospital with p-value = 0.000. Conclusion: Parenting stress has a significant influence on the resilience of parents of children with leukemia at Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru
