Abstract

Music therapy can be used as a therapy for psychiatric disorders, medical problems and communication disorders. Oneof the therapies that can be utilized is the Mozart classical music therapy. This study aimed to determine theeffectiveness of Mozart classical music therapy against hallucinations in schizophrenic patients. This research used aquasi-experimental design in the form of nonequivalent control group design. The sample was 30 respondents dividedinto 15 experimental group and 15 control group. Samples were taken based on inclusion criteria using purposivesampling technique. The instrument used was the Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale (AHRC) questionnaire. Thestudy was analyzed by univariate analysis to know the frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using Wilcoxon andMann-Whitney. The results showed the mean of posttest hallucination score in the experimental group was 13.00 and inthe control group was 27.00. The study found that there was a significant difference in hallucination scores after givingMozart classical music therapy between the experimental group and the control group with p-value 0.000 <(0.05). So itcan be concluded that the therapy of Mozart classical music is effective on the reduction of hallucinations inschizophrenic patients. This study recommends the effectiveness of other therapies that can be associated withhallucinatory patients.Keywords:Hallucinations score, Mozart classical music therapy, schizophrenia

Abstract

Family harmony has something to do with mental health, especially with the risk of drug abuse. This study aims todetermine the relationship between family harmony and risk of drug abuse to adolescents in Satu Atap Teluk KenidaiState Junior High School with a descriptive research design and a correlation cross sectional approach. There were 81respondents as the samples of the research. They were taken based on the inclusion criteria using the total samplingtechnique. The measuring tool used was a set of questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability. Theanalyses used were univariate analysis in order to know the frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chisquaretest. The statistical test resulted in a P value of (0.000) < (0.05) which means there is a significant relationshipbetween family harmony and risk of drug abuse to adolescents in Satu Atap Teluk Kenidai State Junior High School. Theresult of research showed that family harmony was not the main factor of drug abuse but there were other factors suchas peer group, chance and school environment, so this research is expected to be the teenagers' concern and they haveto be more selective in choosing friends and a good environment. Finally, they are supposed to be able to protectthemselves in order not to be easily affected by peers or communities which are not expected.Keywords: Adolescents, Family Harmony, Risk of Drug Abuse

Abstract

AbstractIdentity is something that owned by every individual with realization of their self that already have goal and option for their future in their life. The failure of established identity progress is one of factors caused teenagers turn into juvenile delinquency. The purpose of this research is to find out relationship between identity and juvenile delinquency at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This research was designed as descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The samples of this research are 245 respondents taken using stratified random sampling technique. The measuring instrument using identity questionnaire consist of 10 statements and juvenile delinquency of 15 statements has done validity test and reliability. The analysis used is univariate analysis using frequency distribution and analysis using Chi square test bivariat. The result shows that adolescent which have positive identity 52 respondent (40,3%) tend to have delinquency that turn into violence. Result of Chi-square statistic test shows that P value  =0.248 >

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to identify the knowledge of nurses about patient centred care in intensive care. This research uses a simple descriptive research design. The research was  nurses in intensive care at RSUD Arifin Achmad. Participants involved in the study was nurses who working in intensive care unit a total sample of 75 people with  total sampling technique appropriate inclusion criteria. Research instrument used was  a questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability. Data  analysis used univariate analysis in the frequency distribution. The results showed that the knowledge of nurses on patient  centred was in  medium category which  was 65 people (86.7%) and knowledge of nurses with high category was 10 people (13.5%). Based on the results of this research, hospital institution needs to provide training to nurses about patient-centred  care to improve the performance in providing services to patients Keywords: knowledge, patient centred care

Abstract

Abstract Psychosocial is any condition or event that can change a person's life, and the concerned are  required to be able to adapt  to changes. This study design was descriptive survey which aim to see how the overview of the psychosocial issues that occur to elderly in PSTW Khusnul Khotimah. Samples in this study were 42 respondents living in PSTW Khusnul Khotimah taken by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) which has been modified and has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the study discusses the characteristics such as gender, age, education level, work experience, illness, and marital status. Psychosocial issues divided into 4 subvariable, with the results obtained for each showed from 42 respondents surveyed, 30 respondents (71.4%) had moderate self esteem low, 28 respondents (66.7%) had  a severe helplessness, 24 respondents (57.1%) had mild despair, and 31 respondents (73.8%) had a moderate social isolation. The appropriate of nursing management to change these elderly psychosocial become the main suggestion for the creation of coping well to physiological changes in the elderly.Key word : low self esteem, powerlessness,hopeless, social isolation, elderly, psychosocial

Abstract

Adolescence is a very critical period in human development stage, where multi dimension change happens such as biologic, cognitive, psychological and social change. Many changes in this period make adolescent find more problems that could be a kind of deviant behavior. This study aimed to analyze the factors associated with deviant behavior in adolescent. The design of this research was descriptive correlation using cross sectional approach. The sample of this research was 201 students of SMP N 15 Pekanbaru using stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The univariate analysis was used to know the frequency of distribution. Bivariate analysis used was chi-square test. The result showed that there were significant relationship between explanation of internet with light deviant behavior (p value = 0,020) and heavy deviant behavior (p value = 0,031). The result showed there were no significant relationship between self control and parent communication pattern with light, medium, and heavy deviant behavior, and internet explanation with medium deviant behavior. School has to warn and give educated punishment to student and also strengthen Counseling teacher participation, so it will decrease the risk of deviant behavior in adolescent.Keywords: Adolescent, deviant behavior, explanation of internet, parent communication pattern, self control

Abstract

Kepercayaan diri merupakan aspek kepribadian manusia yang penting sebagai sarana untuk mengaktualisasikan potensi diri yang dimiliki. Pola asuh merupakan salah satu faktor eksternal yang amat mendasar bagi pembentukan rasa percaya diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kepercayaan diri remaja di Kelurahan Kulim, Tenayan Raya, Pekanbaru dengan pendekatan kuantitatif studi, desain cross-sectional. Sampel berjumlah 100 orang remaja diambil menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Data diambil menggunakan kuesioner yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square dengan hasil terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kepercayaan diri remaja (p value 0,00 < ? 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan orang tua remaja dapat menerapkan pola asuh yang menunjang untuk peningkatan harga diri remaja dan kepada perawat puskesmas hendaknya dapat memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya pola asuh yang menunjang pembentukan/peningkatan harga diri remaja.

Abstract

Bullying is one of the most serious acts of school violence for educators, parents, and the public. According to the National Commission for Child Protection, incidences of bullying increase every year, in 2015 the number of bullies increased by 39%. The aim of this research is to describe the condition of bullying behavior among students in schools. The data were collected from 208 samples of junior high school students. A univariate analysis was conducted to show respondent characteristics and a description of the questionnaire results per-statement points was included. The results of the research showed that most bullying perpetrators were senior students as much as 87 respondents (41.8%), 34 respondents (16.3%) had become bullies, and 67 respondents (32.2%) had become victims of bullying. The majority of bullying incidents were in the lowest category, which was as many as 197 respondents (94.7%). The highest impact of bullying felt by the respondents was hurt feelings, which was as many as 93 respondents (44.7%). This research can further be a reference for schools to develop anti-bullying policies for dealing with bullying.

Abstract

COVID-19 cases in the world reached 21,700,823 confirmed by COVID-19. Out of the total cases in the world, 770,523 confirmed total deaths due to coronavirus and already 14,407,913 patients were declared cured. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship of knowledge, attitudes and infrastructure facilities with community behavior in the application of health protocols covid-19. The design of this study uses cross sectional studies. The large sample determined in this study was 400 respondents taken from 9 subdistricts of Tampan which consisted of the distribution of samples of each village. This research method uses descriptive analysis, which aims to systematically and factually describe the facts and relationships between variables investigated by collecting data, processing, analyzing, and interpreting data in statistical hypothesis testing. The results of this study showed the largest respondents were amongthe 26 - 35 years old with the number of 175 respondents (44%), the sex of the largest female respondents with the number of 255 respondents (64%), the marital status of unmarried respondents with the number of 204 respondents (51%), the last education respondents S1/2/3 with a total of 187 respondents (47%), the work of private employee respondents with a total of 155 respondents (39%), the level of good knowledge with the number of 173 respoden (43%), positive attitude with the number of 278 res (70%), good infrastructure with a total of 268 respoden (67%), positive behavior with a total of 209 respoden (52.%), no knowledge relationship with the behavior of respondents with a signification value of 0.304 (p> ;0.05), there is a relationship between attitude and behavior of respondents with a signification value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), there is a relationship between infrastructure facilities and the behavior of respondents with a signification value of 0.000 (p < 0.05 ).
