Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describing news text writing skills. Second, describe the skills of listening to news texts. Third, describe the correlation of listening to news text skills with news text writing skills. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design of this research is correlational. The population in this research were all eighth grade students of class VIII SMP Negeri 34 of Padang who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, namely 223 student. There are two variable in this research, namely the dependent variable (Y) the ability to write news text and the independent variable (X) the skill of listening to news text. The data in this study were scores on the skills of writing news texts and skills score listening to news texts. The instrument used is a test, which is an objective test for listening to news text skills and performance tests for news text writing skills. The results of this research are three. First, news text writing skills of class VIII SMP Negeri 34 of Padang are in good qualification (80,75). Second, listening to the news text skills of clas VIII SMP Negeri 34 of Padang are in good qualification (77,57). Third, listening to news text skill correlates with news text writing skills. Based on this , it can be conclude that to improve writing skills, listening skills must be improved.  Kata kunci : Korelasi, Menyimak, Menulis, dan Teks Berita

Abstract

The main issue in this thesis is to explain the resolution of marital conflicts among non-malacok couples in Nagari Bungo Tanjuang. This field research aims to understand and describe the process of conflict resolution and the impacts of such resolutions in marital conflicts among non-malacok couples in Nagari Bungo Tanjuang. The findings of this research indicate that the forms of marital conflicts among non-malacok couples in Nagari Bungo Tanjuang include visible conflicts such as economic factors, differences in opinions, lack of mutual respect, interference from in-laws, and domestic violence. The reason they do not engage in malacok is due to the high adat costs, amounting to 3,000,000 IDR, which only covers the adat money; further costs will follow for the malacok process. The resolution method employed is non-litigation, using family-based and customary approaches. The impact of this resolution, however, is the dissatisfaction among the conflicting parties, as no peaceful resolution was achieved as expected, which further worsens the relationship, leading to separation, either through living apart or an informal divorce. This situation negatively affects the obligations between husband and wife as well as the children. Despite the application of several resolution models in the marital conflicts, the conflicts did not result in a satisfactory solution, thus not ensuring the resilience of the marriage.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan karakterisasi sensor gas oksigen berupa pelet dengan bahan utama TiO2 didoping dengan ZnO. Pelet sensor gas oksigen dibuat dengan variasi doping ZnO (0% mol, 2% mol,4% mol, 6%mol, 8% mol, dan 10% mol) terhadap bahan utama TiO2. Proses pembuatan sensor gas oksigen diawali dengan pencampuran bahan TiO2 didoping ZnO, kalsinasi pada temperatur 800 ºC selama 4 jam, penggerusan, kompaksi, dan sintering pada temperatur 900 ºC selama 4 jam. Sensor gas oksigen diuji pada temperatur ruang (30 ºC) dengan melihat karakteristik I-V, nilai sensitivitas, nilai konduktivitas, waktu respon, dan karakterisasi XRD. Berdasarkan pengukuran krakteristik I-V bahwa sampel dengan penambahan bahan ZnO sebanyak 8% mol memiliki sensitivitas tertinggi dibanding sampel lainnya yaitu 2,46 pada tegangan 3 volt dan sampel yang memiliki konduktivitas tertinggi terdapat pada sampel dengan penambahan ZnO terbanyak yaitu 10% mol dengan nilai konduktivitas di lingkungan udara sebesar 7,33 x 10-3 Ω-1m-1 dan nilai konduktivitas di lingkungan oksigen sebesar 11,79 x 10-3 Ω-1m-1. Waktu respon sampel 92% mol TiO2 + 8% ZnO pada tegangan 3 volt adalah 55 s. Hasil XRD menunjukkan ukuran kristal 92% mol TiO2 + 8% mol ZnO lebih besar dibandingkan dengan bahan TiO2 murni. Pada doping TiO2 + 8% ZnO telah terbentuk senyawa baru berupa Zn2TiO4.Kata kunci : karakterisasi I-V, konduktivitas, sensor gas oksigen,sensitivitas, TiO2(ZnO),waktu respon.

Abstract

Nowadays, automation system become an important aspect of the manufacturing process because could make integration manufacturing process on it more effective and more efficient. PLC or Programmable Logic Controller is one kind of automation system. Many industries use PLC as automation control device in the manufacturing process to control all kind of process. For example at transportation process of coals in generator industry. Coals could be burned because main elements of coals are carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Base on this prototype early warning system design, we get the result if sensor thermocouple detects temperature larger than setpoint temperature (it is 2000C), then PLC will give an order to shut down the output, that is a belt conveyor. The result of this prototype design could use at coals transportation as an early warning system. The design of prototype early warning system could detect and prevent fire because of the consequence of burned coals until spreading of fire could be avoided.
