Abstract

Herb products have become people's daily consumption. However, herb products are often considered old-fashioned and conventional accompanied by poor packaging. This happens because of the lack of knowledge and skills of herb medicine business players in developing processed products, packaging, and marketing. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of the PKK group in making the innovative "JAJEKUA" herb mocktail product and has good packaging. Meanwhile, branding socialization aims to make the target community have skills in product marketing to achieve stable sales in the long term. The method used is training with discussions, presentations, house-to-house assistance, and making videos of the herb medicine-making process. This activity provides great benefits as indicated by an increase in knowledge and skills in making mocktail "JAJEKUA" herb medicine products and the ability to package good products.

Abstract

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 struck Cianjur Regency, West Java, affecting 12 sub-districts. This earthquake caused significant damage, impacting a total of 114,683 people, resulting in 338 fatalities, 5 missing individuals, hundreds of injuries, and extensive property damage. It also led to mental health issues among survivors, stemming from the loss of family members and property. The objective of this community service activity is to provide psychological intervention to earthquake survivors in Cariu village, Mangunkerta village, Cianjur, through laughter therapy and Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT). The activity is structured into three stages, 1) preparation, 2) delivering laughter and SEFT therapy, and 3) evaluation encompasses post-tests and interviews to assess the impact of the intervention. The results of this psychological intervention initiative demonstrated a significant reduction in symptoms of anxiety (neurosis) and a decrease in the number of survivors experiencing post-traumatic stress (PTSD). However, there is a continued need to monitor survivors who may still be dealing with anxiety disorders, despite their participation in laughter therapy and SEFT.

Abstract

A mother is the main caregiver as well as carrying out multiple roles so that she is more vulnerable to pressure in most families. Mothers also tend to feel sad, tired, lonely, nervous, anxious and more easily worried. Generally, parenting stress is triggered by the mother's disproportionate burden on raising children. This community service aims to provide education to mothers to optimize their role in the family to build family resilience. The program was carried out online and offline with 30 members of the New Sidoarjo Babywearer community who are part of Indonesia Baby Wearers. The implementation method used is lectures, discussions, hands-on practice and assignment. The analysis used to evaluate the success of this psychoeducation is by pretest and posttest. The results obtained were an increase in participants' knowledge based on an average pre-test score of 56.66% and an average post-test of 84.65%.
