Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the increase in motivation and student learning outcomes in social studies learning using flannelgraph media. The method was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which adapted the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart with a spiral system through stages starting from planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments were observation sheets and tests. The results of data analysis that using flannelgraph media in social studies learning can increase motivation and learning outcomes. This can be seen from the percentage increases in student motivation in the first cycle is 67.84%, the second cycle increases to 78.95%, and in the third cycle increases to 93.57%. While the increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the completeness of each cycle. The first cycle is completed by 6 people or 31.57%, the second cycle increases to 16 people or 84.21% and in the third cycle it increases to 19 people or 95%.  Keywords: Motivation; Learning outcomes; Flannelgraph Media Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS menggunakan media flanelgraf. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan menggunakan sistem spiral melalui tahapan-tahapan yang dimulai dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Intrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi dan tes. Dari hasil analisis data bahwa menggunakan media flanelgraf pada pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar. Hal ini terlihat dari persentase peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I 67,84%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 78,95%, dan pada siklus III meningkat kembali menjadi 93,57%. Sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar terlihat dari ketuntasan setiap siklus. Siklus I yang tuntas 6 orang atau 31,57%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 16 orang atau 84,21% dan pada siklus III meningkat kembali menjadi 19 orang atau 95%.  Kata kunci: Motivasi; Hasil Belajar; Media Flanelgraf

Abstract

Peneliti ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca permulaan Bahasa Indonesia siswa SDN Jaka Mulya I Bekasi Selatan masih rendah. Hal ini dapat terlihat siswa kesulitan dalam mebedakan huruf abjad a-z secara berurutan maupun acak, siswa kesulitan membaca suku kata, siswa kesulitan dalam membaca kata sederhana dan siswa kesulitan membaca kalimat sederhana. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk peningkatan keterampilan membaca permulaan melalui metode global siswa kelas I di SDN Jaka Mulya I. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 3 (tiga) siklus. Setiap siklus dilakukan empat tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, dan refleksi. Jumlah peserta didik dikelas penelitian yaitu 26 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal kelas I meningkat dari siklus hingga siklus III, keterampilan membaca permulaan pada siklus I yaitu 50% dengan nilai rata-rata 78. Pada siklus II ketuntasan klasikal meningkat menjadi 65% dengan nilai rata-rata 81. Pada siklus III ketuntasan klasikal meningkat menjadi 88% dengan nilai rata-rata 87. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode global dapat peningkatan keterampilan membaca permulaan melalui metode global siswa kelas I di SDN Jaka Mulya I.

Abstract

Research on developing assessments based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) with the help of the quizizz application during learning from home by utilizing features in online applications in the learning process. This study aims to produce a Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) based assessment for fifth grade elementary schools in science learning theme 8 The environment of our friend that is valid, reliable, feasible, and practical. This research method uses R&D research with the ADDIE research design (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The steps developed include design, expert validation, limited scale trials, and large scale trials. The assessment developed is a multiple choice question using the quizizz application. Data collection techniques in this development research using test techniques (multiple choice) and practicality questionnaires. The results of the HOTS-based multiple choice assessment validation are valid, the reliability value when the limited scale trial is 0.648 and when the large scale trial is 0.762 the value indicates the assessment is reliable. revisions", namely 15 item items, the criterion "Acceptable without revision", namely 7 item items, the criteria with "Good" questions, namely 8 item items and the broad scale shows the different power of the 30 questions, there is the criterion "Acceptable with revisions", namely 15 item items, the criterion "Acceptable without revision" is 7 item questions, the criteria with the question "Good" is 8 item questions. Analysis of the difficulty level of the limited scale test items, 7 questions with Easy criteria, 20 questions with Medium criteria, and 3 questions with Difficult criteria and on a wide scale it shows 12 questions with Easy criteria, 16 questions with Medium criteria, and 2 questions with Difficult criteria . The practicality questionnaire uses 4 raters which show very practical criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the importance of training students' critical thinking skills in Civics learning in elementary schools. The method used in this research is literature study. The data obtained are secondary data in scientific articles related to research problems. The data obtained were processed through data reduction, then described scientifically in order to obtain a research conclusion. The results of this study indicate that critical thinking skills in Civics learning are very dependent on the teacher's delivery using a learning model, this is very significant from 17 articles, 9 of which say that critical thinking skills in Civics learning can be trained and conveyed well if the teacher uses the Problem model. Based Learning. Through this model students become more active in learning so that they gain real experience to solve a problem. Thus the use of the Problem Based Learning model in the learning process helps students to train and improve their critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain and scrutinize the augmentation of students' conceptual understanding within the domain of science education through the implementation of the picture and picture learning model. Science learning, a pivotal subject in elementary education, imparts knowledge about various natural phenomena by leveraging the outcomes of empirical discoveries, experiments, and direct observations conducted by students. Employing a data analysis process, this research places significant emphasis on extracting comparative insights gleaned from an extensive review of scientific journals. Data for this study were sourced from reference journals, online databases, and national and international journal collections. The findings reveal that the integration of the picture and picture learning model is associated with an elevated level of student comprehension in science concepts. Moreover, this pedagogical approach fosters active student engagement, rendering the classroom environment more dynamic and enjoyable. Consequently, the study concludes that the picture and picture learning model serves as a viable solution for enhancing science conceptual understanding in elementary education
