Abstract

The character of nations that now becomes the focus on various life aspects ishonesty. Now, the value of honesty is used as an example of a precious and costly thing. The weak value of honesty in school, like cheating and lying to a teacher, will negatively affect the education process and the learning outcome. The value of honesty can be improved through self-service canteen, so the material or main topic of the lesson in the subject can be immediately implemented. Self-service canteen is one of the effective strategies that enablethe students to learn and practice implementing the values of anti-corruption and as a forum for the education of the prospective anti-corruption national leader. The study conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Malang discussed (1) the implementation of character-building education development through the management of self-service canteen at SMA Negeri 8 Malang, (2) the description of the obstacles found in the implementation, (3) the description of solutionsto reduce the obstacles during the implementation. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, in which the researcher was directly involved to find out information related to the title of the study. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. In addition, the informants were the headmaster, vice headmaster for student affairs, the coordinator of anti-corruption education/self-service canteen, civics teacher, and students ofSMA Negeri 8 Malang. Based on the research finding, the conclusion was obtained as follows: (1) Anti-corruption education/self-service canteen was launched 6 months ago. The concept was simple by providing snacks and beverages. The food was displayed on a table with is the price tag. There was a box for money from the box. The management mechanism was fully offered to the students, under the guidance of the management coordinator self-servicecanteen. (2) There was not any available change. Consequently, some students who owed forgot to pay. (3) The coordinator of self-service canteen gave instructions and guidance to the students continuously during the flag ceremony and the class activity, inserted the lesson materials about honesty, fairness, simplicity, struggle, and others.

Abstract

Social Sciences (IPS) is a science designed to instill knowledge of values, attitudes, and understanding in subject matter so that students can participate in daily life. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in elementary school social studies subjects. This type of research uses a qualitative approach and the data analysis process emphasizes the conclusion and comparison of literature reviews from several scientific journals that serve as guidelines. The results of this study illustrate that applying the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model will improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of students which include C1 (Knowledge), C2 (Comprehension), C3 (Application), C4 (Analysis), C5 (Synthesis), and C6. (Evaluation) in social studies subjects. In addition, the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model can involve all students to develop active and creative learning activities and can foster a sense of duty and group work towards one another. Thus it can be concluded that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model can be applied as a solution to improve student learning outcomes in elementary school social studies lessons.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the interest and learning outcomes of class III students through a joint head-numbered learning model on mathematics subjects at North Bekasi Second Elementary School. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research which consists of 2 cycles. Backpack subject 23 students. Data collection techniques consist of observation sheets and essay tests.Based on research, interest in the first cycle obtained an average value of 76.45 with a percentage of 73.91% and the second cycle obtained an average of 86.96 with a percentage of 86.96%. Then, the learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained an average value of 74.18 with a percentage of completeness of 69.57% and the second cycle obtained an average value of 86.96 with a percentage of completeness of 82.61%. This shows that the Numbered Heads Together model can increase the interest and learning outcomes of class III students in Mathematics at North Bekasi Second Elementary School.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to solve mathematical problems in fifth grade students of SDN Kaliabang Tengah 1 Bekasi Utara. Seen when researchers provide exercises in the description of mathematical problems in the form of stories on fraction material. There is still a lack of student knowledge regarding fractional material. When working on the story problem students simply add up or subtract the denominator by the denominator and the numerator by the numerator, without first equating the denominator. Students have not been able to solve problems correctly and many are still wrong. The lack of students' ability to infer results obtained from mathematical story problems. Enthusiastic students are lacking in solving mathematical story problems that are considered difficult. This study aims to improve the ability to solve mathematical problems using problem solving models in fifth grade students at SDN Kaliabang Tengah 1, North Bekasi. The research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 3 cycles.. The conclusion of this study is the problem solving model can improve the ability to solve mathematical problems in fifth grade students at SDN Kaliabang Tengah 1 Bekasi Utara.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' problem-solving abilities using the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model in students grade IV of Bekasi Jaya II State Elementary School. This study was carried out because of the students' low problem-solving ability in Mathematics.This study employed the Classroom Action Research approach, which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, namely, planning, implementation, assessment, and reflection stage. About 27 students from grade IV has participated in this study. Data collection was carried out through written tests and observation sheets. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis. The criterion for success in this study is if 80% of students achieve a minimum score of 75.Based on the results, the students' problem-solving ability in cycle I with classical completeness was 59%, and got an average score of 72. In cycle II with 89% classical completeness, and the mean score of students' problem-solving abilities increased to 88. Thus, it can be concluded that the Team Assisted Individualization model can improve the conceptual understanding of grade IV students of Bekasi Jaya II State Elementary School.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced schools to study at home or study remotely. The Taman Baca Cahaya program aims to increase learning motivation and interest in reading while studying online (online). This program was implemented in a Cahaya Darussalam Housing RW.015/RT.002, Cijengkol Village, Setu District, on February 24-27 2022 called Taman Baca Cahaya. This dedication method uses participation action research. The creation and empowerment of Taman Baca Cahaya is planned for social reflection, participatory planning, and program implementation. The results of this service increase interest in reading and reduce the use of gadgets in children, a means of exchanging information, advancing the world of education and can be a motivation for children to develop reading and thinking skills to face future challenges.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas IV semester ganjil SD Negeri Wanasari 14 Cibitung - Bekasi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 40 orang. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata 58.9 dan persentase ketuntasan 65% kategori “cukup”, siklus II nilai rata-rata 77.12 dan persentase ketuntasan 77.5 % kategori “baik”, dan siklus III nilai rata-rata 88.62 dan persentase ketuntasan 92.5% kategori “sangat baik”. Hal ini menujukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Wanasari 14 Cibitung - Bekasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar. Hal ini diidentifikasi dari kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam aspek kognitif yaitu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan media realia (papan magnetik) di kelas IV MI AT-Taubah Kota Bekasi.Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV MI At-Taubah Kota Bekasi yang berjumlah 24. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes soal jawaban singkat/pendek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan di setiap siklusnyaterlihat dari perolehan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan rata-rata sebesar 64,17 dengan persentase ketuntasan 45,83%. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 67,08 dengan persentase ketuntasan 62,50%,dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 80,42 dengan persentase ketuntasan 87,50%. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media realia (papan magnetik) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi pokok bahasan penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat di kelas IV MI At-Taubah Kota Bekasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahamankonsep siswa antara model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) danRealistik Mathematic Education (RME) pada mata pelajaran Matematika kelas IVsemester ganjil di SDIT Darul Hasani Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Quasi Experimental Designdengan menggunakan Nonequivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 28 orang untuk kelaseksperimen I dan 27 orang untuk kelas eksperimen II. Dari hasil perhitungandiperoleh thitung sebesar 2,37 dan ttabel dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,05sebesar 2,00. Dari hasil nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas ekperimen I sebesar79,25 dan nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen II sebesar 86,07. Karenathitung ≥ ttabel (2,37 > 2,000) maka Ho ditolak dan Hi diterima. Hasil perhitungan NGainpemahaman konsep siswa kelas eksperimen I memperoleh nilai sebesar0,74 berkategori “tinggi”, dan hasil perhitungan N-Gain kelas eksperimen IImemperoleh nilai sebesar 0,77 berkategori “tinggi”. Sehingga dapat ditarikkesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep siswa yangmenggunakan model pelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan RealisticMathematic Education (RME) pada mata pelajaran Matematika di kelas IV SDITDarul Hasani Kabupaten Bekasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsepMatematika melalui model pembelajaran Open Ended earning pada siswa kelasIV SD SDN Aren Jaya VIII Bekasi Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalahmetode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berlangsung selama dua siklus dimanasetiap siklusnya tiga kali pertemuan yang meliputi tahap perencanaan,pelaksanaan, penilaian dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakandalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan databerupa lembar checklist dan tes tertulis berupa uraian yang diberikan pada akhirpembelajaran setiap pertemuan kedua.Hasil penelitian membuktikan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsepsiswa yang dilihat dari setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I dapat dilihat dari hasil nilairata-rata yaitu 39,75 dengan presentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 3,13%. Padasiklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 59,84 dengan persentase ketuntasanklasikal sebesar 46,88%.
