Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the commando teaching style on the learning outcomes of sideways style sweating at the high school students of State I Kawangkoaan. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The sample used was the students of the State High School I Kawangkoaan, totaling 20 samples, which were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group with a command teaching style totaling 10 samples and the control group receiving no treatment totaling 10 samples. The instrument used in this study was a "sideways test of shot put style". The data collection technique in this study was to conduct a preliminary test and a final test of the sideways force decay for both groups. From the calculation of the research hypothesis testing, it is obtained that tcount is 3.13. Based on the t distribution table at 0.05 with degrees of freedom n1 + n2-2 = 10 +10-2 = 18, it is obtained ttable worth 2.101. So tcount is smaller than ttable, namely tcount = 3.13 > ttable = 2.101. Based on the test criteria, if tcount is greater than ttable (tcount > ttable) then reject Ho and accept HA. Thus the conclusion of the test is that the average increase in side-by-side shot put learning outcomes in the experimental group taught with the commando style of teaching is better than the average increase in side-by-side shot put by the control group, meaning that there is a difference between the two groups. Thus, it can be concluded that the commando teaching style have an effect on increasing the sideways style of shot put in high school students I Kawangkoan State.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah penerapan gaya mengajar cakupan dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar drop shot dalam permainan bulu tangkis? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penerapan gaya mengajar cakupan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar drop shot dalam permainan bulu tangkis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 2 Tondano yang berjumlah 20 siswa dan terbagi atas dua kelompok yakni kelompok eksperimen dengan jumlah sampel 10 orang dan kelompok kontrol dengan jumlah sampel 10 orang. Rancangan penelitian yang dipakai adalah Randominzed Pre-Test and Post-Test control group Design. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes ketrampilan drop shot dalam permainan bulu tangkis. Bentuk dan alat yang digunakan adalah lapangan bulu tangkis, net, kok, sumpritan, dan alat tulis menulis. Hipotesis penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh penerapan gaya mengajar cakupan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar drop shot dalam permainan bulu tangkis siswa SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik uji-t, sebelum uji-t dilakukan maka terlebih dahulu diawali dengan pengujian persyaratan analisis yaitu uji normalitas data dengan menggunakan uji Lilliefors dan uji homogenitas varians dengan menggunakan uji varians besar banding varians kecil. Dan datanya normal dan homogeny. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan diperoleh thitung lebih besar dari ttabel, yaitu thitung = 5.38 ttabel = 2.101, sehingga Ho ditolak yang berarti HA diterima. Dengan demikian hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan gaya mengajar cakupan terhadap peningkatan peningkatan hasil belajar drop shot dalam permainan bulu tangkis siswa SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh penerapan gaya mengajar cakupan terhadap peningkatan peningkatan hasil belajar drop shot dalam permainan bulu tangkis siswa-siswa SMA Negeri 2 Tondano

Abstract

This study aims to test the application of teaching styles in improving the basic underhand serve in volleyball. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The sample used in this study consists of eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 3 Tondano for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 20 samples, divided into two groups: the experimental group with a teaching style training consisting of 10 samples and the control group that did not receive treatment, also consisting of 10 samples. The research was conducted over one month with a frequency of three times a week. The research design used is a "Randomized control group pre-test and post-test design." The instrument used in this research is the "basic underhand serve movement test in volleyball." The data collection technique in this study is by conducting pre-tests and post-tests of the basic underhand serve movement in volleyball for both groups. The research hypothesis is "The application of teaching styles in training has an impact on the improvement of the basic movement of the underhand serve in volleyball for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Tondano." The data analysis technique used is the t-test statistical analysis technique. Before the t-test is conducted, it is preceded by the analysis requirement tests, namely the data normality test and the variance homogeneity test. From the hypothesis testing calculations, thitung was obtained with a value of 6.45. Based on the t distribution table at 0.05 with degrees of freedom nl + n2-21010-218, the t-table value obtained is 2.101. So thitung is greater than ttabel, namely thitung = 6.45 and trabel = 2.101. Based on the testing criteria, if thitung is greater than ttabel (thitung table), then Ho is rejected, which means HA is accepted. The results of this study show that the average improvement in the mastery of the underhand serve basic movement in volleyball for the experimental group using the training teaching style is better than the average improvement in the mastery of the underhand serve basic movement in volleyball for the control group that did not receive the treatment. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of the application of the training teaching style on the improvement of basic underhand serve skills in volleyball among the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Tondano

Abstract

The research question in this study is: Is there a difference in the impact of implementing the command teaching method and the reciprocal teaching method on the development of basic underhand passing techniques in volleyball? This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the command teaching method and the reciprocal teaching method on the learning achievement of basic underhand passing techniques in volleyball among students at SMP Negeri 3 Tondano. The research approach applied was an experiment with a ‘Randomized Two Group Pre-test and Post-test Design’. The research sample included 20 students, divided into two groups: 10 students were taught using the command method and 10 students using the reciprocal method. The instrument used was an evaluation of basic underhand passing techniques in volleyball. Data analysis used normality, homogeneity, and t-tests with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study show that tcount = 2.69 > ttable = 2.101, which means there is a significant difference. This analysis shows that there is a difference in the impact of the command teaching method and the reciprocal teaching method on the development of basic underhand passing skills in volleyball among students at SMP Negeri 3 Tondano. The conclusion of this research is that the command teaching method is more effective than the reciprocal teaching method in improving basic underhand passing skills in volleyball.
