Abstract

Evaluation of education and training is a series of systems as a whole to see the effectiveness and efficiency of a program and aims to determine program achievements in the short and long term. The aim of this study is to make a systematic review from the previous relevant researches that use the KirkPatrick model evaluation in education and training program activities in government institutions of the Republic of Indonesia between 2016 and 2021. The research method is carried out by studying literature through searching articles and accredited scientific journals. Literature data was examined from various components of the process development on the education and training programs on the KirkPatrick model, namely level 1 reaction, level 2 learning, level 3 behaviour and level 4 impact. The findings of this study show that the evaluation of education and training using the KirkPatrick model carried out in government institutions can enrich the repertoire of practical knowledge with evaluation purposes so that it can eventually be useful as a reference for improving the quality of education and training for further decision and policy making.

Abstract

Abstract The activity of compiling RENSTRA, especially in study programs, has not been carried out optimally until now. In fact, curriculum management in the industrial era 4.0 is very important to support the implementation of the independent campus program. One effort that can be made is to provide training and assistance. This activity aims to improve the skills and knowledge of the head of the study program and lecturers in compiling RENSTRA at STAI Nurul Iman Parung Bogor. The method used is descriptive qualitative with work meetings, compiling renstra, presentations and field visits. The results of the activity show that the improvement of the ability of study programs and lecturers in implementing the preparation of RENSTRA through (1) providing training and assistance in accordance with the vision and mission of the institution; (2) cooperation between lecturers, students, and stakeholders; and (3) conducting evaluations. Meanwhile, the knowledge and skills they need are (1) analytical skills to analyze data and information; (2) good communication skills to collaborate; (3) knowledge of strategic management in accordance with the vision and mission of the institution; and (4) evaluative skills. With the assistance in compiling RENSTRA, it is hoped that the independent campus program will be realized. Keywords: mentoring, strategic planning, higher education, independent campus Abstrak Kegiatan penyusunan RENSTRA khususnya pada program studi sampai saat ini masih belum dilakukan secara maksimal. Padahal manajemen kurikulum di era industri 4.0 sangat penting untuk mendukung terlaksananya program kampus merdeka. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan pengetahuan ketua program studi dan dosen dalam penyusunan RENSTRA di STAI Nurul Iman Parung Bogor. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan rapat kerja, penyusunan renstra, presentasi dan visitasi lapangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan program studi dan dosen dalam melaksanakan penyusunan RENSTRA melalui (1) memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan yang sesuai dengan visi dan misi lembaga; (2) kerjasama antara dosen, mahasiswa, dan stakeholder; dan (3) melakukan evaluasi. Sedangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan mereka yaitu (1) keterampilan analitis untuk menganalisis data dan informasi; (2) keterampilan komunikatif yang baik untuk berkolaborasi; (3) pengetahuan tentang manajemen strategis yang sesuai dengan visi dan misi lembaga; dan (4) keterampilan evaluatif. Dengan adanya pendampingan penyusunan RENSTRA ini, diharapkan program kampus merdeka akan terealisasi. Kata Kunci: pendampingan; penyusunan rencana strategis; perguruan tinggi; kampus merdeka
