Abstract

Fusarium wilt is an important disease of various types of bananas and one of the most common diseases that causes destruction of banana plants in tropical and subtropical regions. Fusarium wilt caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense (FOC). As an inhabitant, invader, soil-transmitted fungus and causes wilt that colonizes xylem vessels, FOC requires penetration through the roots of the host plant, so that in its control it is necessary to try to provide protection and induction of host resistance systems in the root system. in this research.The proposed banana plant disease detection system consists of two phases, in the first phase, namely in the learning process, the images of healthy banana leaves and those affected by fusarium disease are files each measuring 640x480 pixels obtained from the results of taking a digital microscope on the plantation. PT. GGP Lampung. Next is the classification process. The method used for pattern recognition in this study is a support vector machine (SVM). Basically SVM can only be used to classify data into two classes (binary classification). To be able to apply to the problem of classifying healthy banana leaves and those affected by mild, moderate and severe fusarium disease consisting of more than two classes, a multiclass SVM classification method is applied which is built by combining several binary classifications. In the training classification process, the hyperplane variables for each classifier obtained will be stored and will later be used as data for each classifier in the testing process, in other words the training classification process is a process to find support vectors, alpha and bias from the training input data obtained. in the form of a feature vector from the image of healthy banana leaves and those with mild, moderate and severe fusarium disease (four classes). From the results of the classification stage experiment using the support vector machine one against all method, the results obtained are Class I (Healthy Banana Leaf) 90.833%, Class II (Light Fusarium Banana Leaf) 76.688%, Class III (Medium Fusarium Banana Leaf) 77.50, Class III (Medium Fusarium Banana Leaf) IV(Fusarium banana leaf weight) 95%.

Abstract

AbstrakTingginya penggunaan minyak bumi menyebabkan cadangan minyak bumi menipis, ini dikarenakan minyak bumi merupakan sumber daya alam yang tidak dapat diperbaharui. Kondisi ini menyebabkan perlu dilakukannya pencarian energi alternatif yang dapat mengurangi penggunaan minyak bumi, salah satunya yaitu biodiesel. Biodiesel terbuat dari minyak nabati sehingga dapat diperbaharui karena banyak terdapat di alam. Pembuatan biodiesel dapat dibuat menggunakan minyak jelantah melalui proses transesterifikasi. Minyak jelantah akan bereaksi dengan larutan kalium metoksi yang berasal dari campuran metanol degan katalis KOH. Desa nelayan di Karangantu sangat berpotensi untuk pemanfaatan minyak jelantah untuk dirubah menjadi biodiesel sebagai bahan bakar mesin kapal. Metode pelatihan menggunakan demonstrasi dan ceramah. Objek pengabdian adalah perwakilan masyarakat nelayan karangantu berjumlah 25 orang. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa penyuluhan yang dilakukan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Hal ini dibuktikan dari materi pertama mengenai bahaya dan potensi pemanfaatan minyak jelantah yang dirasa sangat bermanfaat. Kemudian kegiatan demonstrasi merubah minyak jelantah menjadi biodiesel juga dirasa sangat bermanfaat menurut nelayan karena hal tersebut dapat menjadi alternatif bahan bakar untuk mesin kapal yang menggunakan mesin diesel. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, kegiatan pelatihan mendapatkan skor keefektifan yaitu sebesar 3,50 dan masuk dalam kategori efektif. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para nelayan.Kata kunci:  minyak jelantah, biodiesel, nelayan, Karangantu, reaktor   AbstractThe high use of petroleum causes petroleum reserves to run low, this is because petroleum is a non-renewable natural resource. This condition causes the need to search for alternative energy that can reduce the use of petroleum, one of which is biodiesel. Biodiesel is made from vegetable oil so it can be renewed because it is abundant in nature. Biodiesel can be made using used cooking oil through a transesterification process. Used cooking oil will react with a solution of potassium methoxy derived from a mixture of methanol with a KOH catalyst. The fishing village in Karangantu has the potential to utilize used cooking oil to be converted into biodiesel as fuel for ship engines. The training method uses demonstrations and lectures. The object of service is the representatives of the Karangantu fishing community, totaling 25 people. Based on the results of the activity, it shows that the counseling provided is beneficial to the community. This is proven from the first material regarding the dangers and potential use of used cooking oil which is considered very useful. Then the demonstration activity of changing used cooking oil into biodiesel is also considered very useful according to fishermen because it can be an alternative fuel for ship engines that use diesel engines. Based on the data obtained, the training activities get an effectiveness score of 3.50 and fall into the effective category. This shows that training activities have a positive impact in increasing the knowledge and skills of fishermen.Keywords:  used cooking oil, biodiesel, fishermen, karangantu, reactor.

Abstract

The high use of petroleum causes petroleum reserves to deplete, this is because petroleum is a natural resource that cannot be renewed. The purpose of this research is to make biodiesel using a simple circulating reactor and analyze biodiesel so that biodiesel is obtained which is suitable for use and according to general biodiesel standards. This research is limited by several variables consisting of fixed variables, namely raw materials in the form of 20 liters of used cooking oil, 100 g of KOH catalyst, and a reaction temperature of 600C, while the independent variables are the circulating stirring time for 55, 60, and 65 minutes, and the ratio feeds were 17% v/v and 21% v/v methanol. The stages of research carried out are preparation of raw materials, manufacture of biodiesel, and testing of biodiesel. Preparation of raw materials by preparing used cooking oil, KOH catalyst and methanol. Biodiesel production is carried out in a simple circulating reactor. The biodiesel tests carried out were density, viscosity, Free Fatty Acid (FFA) levels, Flash Point, Pour Point, cetane numbers, and Heat Heating Value (HHV). The research that has been done has produced biodiesel that complies with the SNI biodiesel standard. The density of biodiesel produced is in the range of 856.4-868.4 kg/m3. The resulting viscosity ranges from 2.98-3.41 cSt. The cetane number ranged from 57.3 to 58.2. Flash point ranges from 39.5-150.5oC. The pour point is around 9oC and the HHV is 9371-9490 kcal/kg. Generally, the yield of biodiesel produced is 75-90%. The optimum conditions for making biodiesel are at a variation of 17% v/v methanol with a reaction temperature of 60oC and a reaction time of 55 minutes.

Abstract

UKM Awal Putra Mandiri is an activist for the city of Serang's superior product Sate Bandeng so that it can develop by seeing a sustainable business opportunity by exploiting existing potential. UMKM Sate Bandeng Awal Putra Mandiri, is one of the UMKMs that provides Sate Bandeng products and has product supplies at the national level. The results obtained from the discussion contained problems that were experienced, namely that technology had not been implemented which was able to detect the freshness and content of dangerous substances in milkfish raw materials in a real-time, practical manner. This Community Service activity includes dissemination and training on Integrated Embedded Sensing System technology products for detecting the level of freshness of food ingredients and the content of dangerous substances. The implementation of Community Service activities runs well and smoothly, so that employees and UKM owners are very interested in using technological tools. Apart from that, this activity can reduce the costs incurred by UKMs due to mistakes in buying fish that is not fresh.. Abstrak UKM Awal Putra Mandiri merupakan penggiat produk unggulan kota Serang Sate Banden g sehingga dapat berkembang dengan melihat suatu peluang usaha yang berkesinambungan dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang ada. UMKM Sate Bandeng Awal Putra Mandiri, menjadi salah satu UMKM yang menyediakan produk Sate Bandeng dan memiliki pasokan produk ke tin gkat nasional. Hasil yang didapatkan dari diskusi terdapat permasalahan yang di alami yaitu belum diterapkan teknologi yang mampu mendeteksi kesegaran dan kandungan zat berbahaya pada bahan baku ikan bandeng yang real- time, dan praktis. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat inimeliputi diseminasi dan pelatihan produk teknologi Integrated Embedded Sensing System untuk deteksi tingkat kesegaran bahan pangan dan kandungan zat berbahaya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, sehingga para karyawan dan owner UKM sangat tertarik dengan menggunakan alat teknologi. Selain itu, dari kegiatan tersebut mampu menekan biaya pengeluaran UKM untuk kesalahan membeli ikan yang tidak segar.

Abstract

Abstract Ujung Tebu is one of the villages located in the Ciomas sub-district, Serang Regency, Banten Province, which has a variety of uniqueness and characteristics of its people. The era of ever-increasing development will certainly push technology into every crevice of life. However, in this case, the backwardness of Ujung Cane Village in terms of infrastructure facilities, especially in RT 5 and RT 6, has encouraged the creation of an off-grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) as a means of public street lighting (PJU). This effort is made to introduce and implement renewable energy as a means of supporting the green energy program. In addition, this off-grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is one of the environmentally friendly energy sources so that people do not have to worry about damage to the surrounding environment. Because the manufacture of this PJU still uses simple equipment, to optimize the resulting output power, it is necessary to analyze the efficiency of the output power based on the capacity of the solar cells used. Training activities for the installation and maintenance of Solar Cell Systems as PJUs have also been carried out well and as a result the community is able to independently carry out the installation and maintenance of PJUs integrated with solar cells. Abstrak Ujung tebu merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di kecamatan Ciomas Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten yang menyimpan berbagai keunikan dan ciri khas dari masyarakatnya. Era perkembangan zaman yang semakin meningkat tentu akan mendorong teknologi masuk ke setiap celah kehidupan. Namun dalam hal ini, ketertinggalan desa ujung tebu dalam pasilitas infra- struktur khususnya di RT 5 dan RT 6 mendorong timbulnya pembuatan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) off grid sebagai sarana penerangan jalan umum (PJU). Upaya ini dilakukan guna mengenalkan serta mengimplementasikan energi terbarukan sebagai sarana mendukung pro- gram green energy. Selain itu, Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) off grid ini merupakan sa- lah satu energi yang ramah lingkungan sehingga masyarakat tidak perlu khawatir akan adanya kerusakan pada lingkungan sekitar. Oleh karena pembuatan PJU ini masih menggunakan peralatan yang sederhana, maka untuk mengoptimalkan daya keluaran yang dihasilkan perlu adanya analisis mengenai efisiensi daya keluaran berdasarkan kapasitas solar cell yang digunakan. Kegiatan pelatihan untuk pemasangan dan pemeliharaan Sistim Sel Surya sebagai PJU juga sudah dilakukan dengan baik dan hasilnya masyarakat mampu secara mandiri melakukan pemasangan dan pemeliharaan PJU terintegrasi dengan sel surya.

Abstract

Abstract Tunda Island is a small island located in the Java Sea, precisely to the north of Banten Bay. This area is included in the Tirtayasa District, Serang Regency. Tunda Island has an area of 289.79 hectares. The majority of Tunda Island residents work as fishermen/sailors. There are 300 heads of families (KK) living on Tunda Island. It is estimated that 300 heads of families can produce 2 liters of used cooking oil in one month per family, so the monthly estimate is around 600 liters per month. If used cooking oil is thrown away directly, it can pollute the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to process used cooking oil to convert it into something more valuable such as biodiesel. This is very relevant because the fuel requirements for fishing boats are quite high. The method used is community education with a training and counseling approach to increase the understanding of fishing communities regarding the use of used cooking oil waste into biodiesel. The activity will be carried out on September 11 2023 involving 10 fishermen. Based on the results of activities to obtain information data, training participants range in age from 28 years to 60 years. His daily work is as a fisherman. The results of the training showed an increase in knowledge about the use of used cooking oil, especially for conversion into biodiesel. Based on the results of activity evaluation through the distribution of questionnaires on the effectiveness of training activities, data was obtained, namely the effectiveness criteria received a score of 4.60 and entered the very effective criteria so that this activity had a positive impact on fishermen regarding the use of used cooking oil for biodiesel fuel Abstrak Pulau Tunda merupakan sebuah pulau kecil yang terletak di Laut Jawa, tepatnya di sebelah utara Teluk Banten. Kawasan ini termasuk dalam wilayah Kecamatan Tirtayasa, Kabupaten Serang. Pulau Tunda memiliki luas 289,79 hektare. Mayoritas penduduk pulau tunda berprofesi sebagai nelayan/pelaut. Terdapat 300 Kepala Keluarga (KK) yang tinggal di pulau tunda. Perkiraan dari 300 kepala keluarga tersebut dapat menghasilkan minyak jelantah 2 liter dalam satu bulan per KK sehingga estimasi perbulan sekitar 600 liter perbulan. Apabila minyak jelantah tersebut dibuang langsung maka dapat mencemari lingkungan. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pengolahan minyak jelantah untuk dikonversi menjadi sesuatu yang lebih bernilai seperti biodiesel. Hal ini sangat relevan karena kebutuhan bahan bakar untuk perahu nelayan cukup tinggi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendidikan masyarakat dengan pendekatan pelatihan dan penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat nelayan terkait pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi biodiesel. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan pada 11 September 2023 dengan melibatkan 10 Nelayan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan mendapatkan data informasi peserta pelatihan memiliki rentang usia yang beragam dari umur 28 tahun sampai 60 tahun. Pekerjaan sehari-hari merupakan sebagai nelayan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan minyak jelantah khususnya untuk dikonversi menjadi biodiesel. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan melalui penyebaran angket keefektifan kegiatan pelatihan menghasilkan data yaitu Kriteria keefektifan mendapatkan skor 3,60 dan masuk kriteria sangat efektif sehingga kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif bagi para nelayan terkait pemanfaatan minyak jelantah untuk bahan bakar biodiesel.

Abstract

Antibody production is becoming a trend, especially during a pandemic like now, although there have been many developments in antibody production in previous research. Antigen synthesis and characterization is one of the determining factors for the success of antibody production. This research developed a method of antigen characterization using the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) method. The research conducted in these 4 stages begins with antigen synthesis, then continues with antigen characterization using NMR, then antibody production, and the last stage is antibody characterization using the Enzyme Linked ImmunoAssay (ELISA) method. The results of antigen characterization using NMR show that NAS has been perfectly conjugated with BSA and produces a NAS-BSA conjugate. This is shown by the presence of 1 methylene (CH2) olefinic at δH chemical shift of 6.27 ppm with an integral of 4 and having 1 piece of methine (CH) sp2 at δH chemical shift of 5.73 ppm with an integral of 2. NAS-BSA antigens have been shown to successfully produce antibodies. This is shown from the anti-NAS-BSA, NAS, and Acrylamide antibodies that begin to appear in the second, third and fourth boosting (respectively)

Abstract

The change from the 2013 curriculum to an Merdeka curriculum requires adjustments for teachers and students. The lack of availability of teaching tools that are in accordance with the Merdeka curriculum and a learning approach that is still teacher-centered makes students less motivated to participate in learning. The purpose of this study is to develop a PBL-based teaching module on green chemistry material by determining the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of student responses to the content measured in the teaching module. This research is R&D (Research and Development) research with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model. The data collection technique used a material and media validation questionnaire involving seven material and media expert validators and was analyzed using the Aiken's V test. Furthermore, the validated teaching module was tested limited to 26 class X phase E students. The development of this PBL-based teaching module obtained results in the validity of the material and media of 0.91 and 0.92 in the "Valid" category. Then it was implemented with students in class X-5 and received a response of 83.27% in the "Very Practical" category. Furthermore, the results of the LKPD assignment in the module obtained an average of 83.15% which indicates "Very Effective". Thus, this PBL-based teaching module is suitable for use as a learning tool.

Abstract

Nasi Padang In-Flight Meals merupakan salah satu produk makanan transportasi yang pada umumnya lebih mengutamakan cita rasa dan biaya dibandingkan dengan aspek gizinya. Nasi Padang In-Flight Meals juga memiliki ancaman keamanan pangan yang tinggi selama proses pengolahan hingga dikonsumsi oleh konsumen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi  nilai gizi, mutu gizi, dan mikrobiologi yang terkandung dalam Nasi Padang In-Flight Meals. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu desain penelitian observasional deskriptif. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria yang ditentukan oleh peneliti yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-November 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai gizi Nasi Padang In-Flight Meals di PT. X sudah sesuai dengan label ING kemasan, namun mutu gizi pada produk belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan tubuh kecuali total energinya. Produk memiliki cemaran total mikroba yang berada dalam kategori aman. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Nasi Padang In-Flight Meals di PT. X belum sepenuhnya memperhatikan aspek gizinya, namun sangat memperhatikan aspek keamanan pangannya

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran dengan berbasis teknologi sangat penting untuk melatih kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah di zaman yang sudah canggih ini. Misalnya pada materi ikatan ion dan kovalen ini bisa menggunakan aplikasi untuk dapat melakukan percobaannya. Dan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat menggunakan model pembelajaran  yang melibatkan siswa dan teknologi  sehingga siswa memiliki ruang untuk mencari tahu dan bereksperimen, contohnya pada model pembelaran learning cycle 9E. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya model pembelajaran model  learning cycle 9E terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang pada materi ikatan ion dan ikatan kovalaen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian adalah  quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalen control group design. Di dalam desain ini, penelitian menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan diawali sebuah tes awal sebelum pembelajaran untuk kedua kelas kemudian di berikan treatment atau perlakuan. Penelitian kemudian diakhiri dengan test akhir pada kedua kelas. Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 9E sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah kelas yang tidak mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 9E. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian terdiri atas 30 siswa kelas X di SMAN Pandeglang 1. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa jenis pengukur berupa modul ajar, LKPD, dan soal posttest dan pretest. Data penelitian yang didapat diolah secara deskriptif statistik menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan analisis inferensial seperti uji validitas, realibilitas, normalitas, dan paired sample t-test untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 26.0.
