Abstract

Program ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tumpukan sampah yang masih menjadi permasalahan utama desa hingga saat ini. Pemerintah desa menghabiskan ratusan juta rupiah per tahun untuk membuang sampah padat desa ke TPA di kecamatan lain. Dengan demikian tujuan dari program ini adalah: (1) Menjaga keberlanjutan program pengelolaan sampah organik melalui budidaya integrasi antara maggot unggul – ayam lele, (2) Produksi dan branding produk budidaya terintegrasi antara maggot-lele-ayam unggul , (3) Menumbuhkan kesadaran memilah dan menyetor sampah ke TPS 3R. (4) Terciptanya kondisi lingkungan yang bersih, sehat, dan tertata sehingga visi Desa Bebas Sampah 2025 dapat tercapai. Pertama, untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, ada empat kegiatan yang harus dilakukan: (1) Pengembangan Multibudidaya Terpadu, (2) Komersialisasi dari Produksi Multibudidaya Terpadu (Belatung-Lele-Ayam), (3) Pembentukan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah melalui “Rintisan Bank Sampah TPS 3R” baik sampah Organik maupun anorganik, (4) Memulai Edu-tourism “Semaggot” (Sekaran Edukasi Maggot). Kedua, untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat di Desa Sekaran, kita perlu mengidentifikasi berapa nilai potensi yang mereka miliki, kemudian dilakukan pengembangan dan peningkatan. Terutama untuk integrasi dan simbiosis mutualisme antara sampah organik dan produksi multi budidaya (Belatung-Lele-Ayam). Masyarakat dapat mendirikan wisata edu budidaya maggot-lele-ayam bagi warga lainnya. Namun, dibutuhkan tanggung jawab antara pemerintah daerah, akademisi, praktisi, dan khususnya masyarakat Desa Sekaran untuk terus melakukan perbaikan.

Abstract

Sekaran Village is a village with a dense population, so the quantity of waste, both organic and inorganic from the village community is also high. This experiment focuses on processing organic waste only with Maggot Black Soldier Fly (BSF) media which has the potential to decompose organic waste. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of degradation of organic waste with BSF maggot media at the Sekar Benefit 3R Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency. The results of this experiment include the increase in the mass of Baby Maggot BSF before and after degrading waste. The level of degradation of organic waste with Baby Maggot BSF is rice (69.83%), bones (50.5%), meat (46%), fruit (45.83%), wet leaves (31.5%) and the last is dry leaves (16.67%). Meanwhile, the level of degradation of organic waste with Adult BSF Maggot is not as high as the level of degradation of organic waste with Baby Maggot BSF media. Organic waste type which easily degraded by Adults Maggot BSF for 24 hours are meat, fruit and rice up to 0.59, 0.44 and 0.11 kg. Meanwhile, dry leaves, wet leaves and vegetables, which were degraded up to 0.69, 0.59 and 0.7 kg. It was concluded that the type of organic waste did not affect the quantity of Adult BSF Maggot before and after degrading organic waste.

Abstract

In the context of supporting the national food security program, increasing rice productivity should be directed toward the use of environmentally friendly fertilizers that can reduce dependence on synthetic chemical inputs. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) on vegetative growth, yield performance, and soil quality of rice variety PMJ-01. The research was conducted in a greenhouse located in Jotosanur, Lamongan, using 13 treatment combinations of LOF 3 ppm concentration and application frequency. The observed parameters included plant height, panicle length, 1000-grain weight, yield per clump, as well as soil quality indicators measured by pH, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) content. The results showed that treatments P2 and P4 produced the best vegetative growth in terms of plant height, while treatments P2, P6, and P10 resulted in the longest panicles. The highest 1000-grain weight was obtained in treatments P2 and P11, whereas yield per clump significantly increased under treatments P2 and P11. Application of LOF 7 ppm also improved soil quality, particularly by increasing soil pH, although the levels of macronutrients (N, P, K) remained below the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). Thus, LOF has the potential to be an alternative to chemical fertilizers in rice cultivation. Therefore, developing LOF formulations with additional macronutrients is necessary to support increased productivity and sustainability of rice farming systems.
