Abstract

Naposo Nauli Bulung is a group of village youths and girls founded on custom, and the implementation of Naposo Nauli Bulung is in line with the Batak Mandailing custom. In an effort to preserve the culture of the Batak Mandailing, Hatobangon and Harajaon established Naposo Nauli Bulung so that traditional activities can be carried out with the presence of village youths and girls. Apart from that, Naposo Nauli Bulung also seeks to form and bring good changes for young people in Bangai Village, Torgamba District, South Labuhanbatu Regency. One of the efforts made by Naposo Nauli Bulung is to hold various kinds of educational, religious, even socio-cultural programs in order to achieve cultured, civilized and dignified youth. This study aims to identify and describe the role of Naposo Nauli Bulung in preserving the Batak Mandailing culture in Bangai Village, Torgamba District, South Labuhanbatu Regency. This research is a qualitative research with a case study type. In this study, there were 10 informants, namely the head of Bangai Village, the traditional leader (Harajaon) of Bangai Village, the traditional leader (Harajaon) of Sorik Village, the traditional leader (Harajaon) of Rasau Village, the traditional leader of Nauli Bulung, the local community and members of Naposo Nauli Bulung. feathers. The method used in this study is observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the role of Naposo Nauli Bulung in preserving Batak Mandailing culture aims to form attitudes and responsibilities towards Naposo Nauli Bulung, increase a sense of concern for the Mandailing community, assist in all activities in Marhorja traditional events and preserve local Batak Mandailing culture in Bangai Village Torgamba District, South Labuhanbatu Regency through the role of Naposo Nauli Bulung.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the position of sons in the Mandailing family in overseas areas. This research is located in Bangun Sari Hamlet, Labuhanbatu Regency, Rantauprapat. This study uses an ethnographic approach using descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects in this study were married couples (families) who are of the Mandailing ethnicity. The number of respondents in this study were 5 people. Data collection was carried out by observing, interviewing, and studying written documents. The data obtained was then analyzed using qualitative data analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. Research results obtained by children in a family are the most beautiful gifts from God. In a family in the Mandailing community, sons are very important because sons carry a surname and are successors of the genealogy and are a complement to the philosophy of Dalihan Na Tolu. The Mandailing ethnic community in Bangun Sari Hamlet has an understanding that the position of sons in the Mandailing family is high because they are the successors of the clan. However, along with the times and the occurrence of assimilation in customs and culture with the Javanese, the people view boys and girls as the same. There is no difference in what happens to girls even though sons are the successors of the clan. In the past, boys were number one in education and wealth, but now they are all equal

Abstract

This study aims to find out: The Phenomenon of Online Gambling Clucking Online Games Among Students in Pasar V Tembung Village. The research method used in this thesis is a type of qualitative research using the phenomenology method. The data collection technique used was various data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation at market V in Tembung Village. The results of this study indicate that the phenomenon of online gambling under the guise of online games among students is that many students are familiar with online gambling in their free time and because there is no activity either on campus, at boarding houses or at home. Online gamblers utilize information and communication technology as a means of modern gambling, making it more profitable for online gamblers because it does not require them to meet in person. The forms are: Slots, Togel, Links, Websites, Poker, Rummy, Football Gambling and Higgs Domino. Where teenagers do online gambling as a form of activity in the process of fulfilling their needs, both psychological and material. The resulting impact affects themselves personally and others, both having a negative impact on academic achievement, the economy, psychology, time and resulting in criminal acts.

Abstract

This study examines students' motivation to use the thesis service at university. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The first instrument of this research was his 2017 - his 2018 students in two different universities in Medan, North Sumatra, a total of 10 students. As information from observations, interviews and documents to support this research. The data analysis method for this study consisted of three steps using the Miles and Huberman model: data reduction, data presentation, inference, and validation. Based on our findings: 1) Consumers over the age of 20 are made up of different ages and different exact science disciplines. Consumers are students at public, and private universities (2) Factors that motivate students to use the services of a thesis adviser include; a) lack of trust in dealing with thesis supervision, b) lack of communication between lecturers and students, c) cultivated habits that undermine independence in working on a thesis, and d) lack of interest in the subject of the degree program. Lack of information about enough knowledge about it, e) desperation because the title is often rejected by lecturers, f) unprofessional research that affects the delay in the dissertation preparation process.

Abstract

desa Gong Pito Kabupaten Karo. Adapun jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif analitis. Pemerolehan data penelitian menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, hingga penarikan simpulan. Selanjutnya, uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian yang telah dipaparkan, maka dikemukakan kesimpulan bahwa Kerja Tahun atau dalam bahasa Karo Merdang merdem merupakan suatu pesta adat yang dilakukan secara turun-temurun oleh kalak Karo di seluruh wilayah taneh Karo dengan tujuan menjaga ketentraman dan keseimbangan bermasyarakat serta membangun komunikasi dengan keluarga yang sudah lama tidak bertemu. Zaman dahulu pesta Kerja Tahun dilakukan dengan tujuan mengucap syukur kepada roh nenek moyang atas hasil panen pertanian khususnya padi yang melimpah. Kerja tahun merupakan suatu hiburan untuk pemuda pemudi, terutama untuk pemuda pemudi yang mocok-mocok atau berladang di tempat orang. Beliau juga mengatakan bahwa pesta Kerja Tahun adalah hal yang paling ditunggu-tunggu masyarakat Karo terutama pemuda pemudi masyarakat Karo. Pesta ini sangat spesial bagi masyarakat Karo.

Abstract

This study aims to describe qualitatively the portrait of children's education from the perspective of the Banjar tribal fishing community in Karang Anyar Village, this phenomenon is very interesting and important to study scientifically. The methods used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and data verification. This is dominated by parents who have misconceptions (misunderstanding) about education who think that there is no point in sending their children to school because it only adds to the economic burden and they are simply given education at home so that it is better for these children to help their parents earn a living at home. sea because of going to school, in the end, to get a degree and earn an income. This is what makes the level of education of children in this region is very minimal. The factors causing the lack of children's education in this village are the lack of parental participation in education, economic conditions and environmental influences that are too urgent and the children's income too early, the crisis of solidarity, the relatively high pessimistic attitude of the community, the lack of cooperation between teachers, parents, community leaders, and religious leaders.
