Abstract

This research is motivated by the frequent use of expressive speech acts used by buyers in the assesment column in the Shopee application. Even though the store’s rating is very high, it does not rule out that many buyers are dissatisfied. This dissatifaction can be sourced from problems with shipping goods, choosing colors, sizes, and services provided by the seller. The research focuses on identifying expressive speech acts, including acknowledgments, apologies, and expressions of regret. This type of research is qualitative with analytical descriptive method. The data used are are expressive speech acts of buyers in the form of sentence and words contained in the clothing store assessment column in the Shopee application. The speech act theory used is Searle (1979).  The data analysis technique used the matching method and the agih method. From the result of the study found three forms of expressive speech acts, namely thanking, apoligizing, and regretting. This indicates that the buyer expresses or expresses his heart to the seller about the product that has been purchased.

Abstract

Abstract: Code Mixing in the Learning Process at Padang Laweh 12 Public Elementary School, Sijunjung Regency. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms and factors that cause code mixing in the learning process at Padang Laweh 12 Public Elementary School, Sijunjung Regency. This type of research is qualitative research. The research method uses descriptive method. The data in this study are words, phrases, clauses in the learning process at Padang Laweh 12 Public Elementary School, Sijunjung Regency. The sources in this study are audio and video recordings in the process. The results of the research that has been done, found 86 code mixing data in the learning process at Padang Laweh 12 Public Elementary School, Sijunjung Regency. Of the 86 data found, there were 35 mixed code words such as no, okay, uwang, kecek, rest, reminded, ado, there, etc., 32 mixed code phrases such as alhamdulillah, allhu akbar, what did you check mom earlier?, bakpo wak , cubo baco, and others, and 18 code mixing clauses such as ha kambiongmelompek pageg jie serli, how come you can't wak kluag de, and others. In this study, there is also code mixing based on its nature, namely internal (internal) code mixing such as Indonesian to Minangkabau and vice versa and external (external) code mixing such as Indonesian to Arabic and vice versa. The causes of code-mixing are the speaker or speaker's personal factors, function and purpose factors, and the factor of arousing a sense of humor with jokes (funny impression).

Abstract

Writing activities are very important, especially for students in every lecture process. Assignments given by lecturers generally require students' writing skills. Writing skills that are important to be mastered by students, especially final semester students, are writing scientific papers. Scientific writing is one of the requirements for students to complete their education level. The activity of writing a final project in the form of a scientific paper is a form of embodiment of students' understanding and skills during lectures. Courses related to writing are only in the form of general delivery. The purpose of this service is to help students understand the correct procedure for writing scientific papers so that the problems discussed in the scientific papers they write can be conveyed and understood well by the readers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan sebagai berikut ini. Pertama, Kemampuan menuliskan kembali siswa SMP N 3 Pariaman dianggap masih rendah. Kedua, Siswa belum mampu menuliskan kembali teks deskripsi. Ketiga, siswa terkendala dalam menggunakan, menentukan serta memahami kaidah kebahasaan yang ada di dalam teks deskripsi. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Pengaruh Penggunaan Multmedia Presentasi Terhadap Kemampuan Menuliskan Kembali Teks Deskripsi Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini adalah One Group Pretes-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP 3 Pariaman. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP N 3 Pariaman yang berjumlah 28 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah skor kemampuan menuliskan kembali teks deskripsi sebelum menggunakan multimedia presentasi dan skor kemampuan menuliskan kembali teks deskripsi sesudah menggunakan multimedia persentasi siswakelas VII SMP N 3 Pariaman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan pada Bab IV dapat disimpulkan tiga hal berikut ini. Pertama, kemampuan menuliskan kembali teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman sebelum menggunakan Multimedia Presentasi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 73,80 berada pada rentangan 66-75% dengan kualifikasi yaitu Lebih dari Cukup (LdC). Kedua, kemampuan menuliskan kembali teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman sesudah menggunakan Multimedia Presentasi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 87,14 berada pada rentangan 86-95% dengan kualifikasi yaitu baik sekali (BS). Ketiga, berdasarkan uji-t terdapat pengaruh Multimedia Presentasi berbantuan media gambar terhadap kemampuan menuliskan kembali teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman karena thitung= 7,34 dan ttabel = 1,70 kriteria pengujian t diterima jika thitung > ttabel dengan kata lain H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian penggunaan Multimedia Presentasi berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menuliskan kembali teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar teks biografi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan dengan siswa dan guru SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar teks biografi siswa fase E SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitataif. Data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari wawancara untuk melihat kebutuhan bahan ajar teks biografi. Hasil yang diperoleh kemudian dideskripsikan. Teknik pengolahan data berupa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar teks biografi diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut. Pertama, pada indikator analisis kurikulum bahwa kurikulum yang digunakan di SMA Negeri 3 Pariaman yaitu kurikulum merdeka yang sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Kedua, pada indikator analisis konsep, dari segi materi dalam buku paket yang digunakan sebagai acuan wajib oleh guru dan siswa pada proses pembelajaran dalam kurikulum merdeka adalah buku siswa dan buku guru. Ketiga, pada indikator analisis siswa. Pada materi teks biografi siswa kesulitan dalam elemen menulis dikarenakan kurangnya sumber belajar. Dalam kurikulum merdeka siswa dituntut untuk mampu belajar secara mandiri tetapi di dalam buku paket yang dimiliki siswa, masih terdapat kekurangan pada materi, contoh, dan latihan soal sehingga membuat siswa sulit dalam belajar secara mandiri dan harus didampingi oleh guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh, penerapan kurikulum membingungkan, keterbatasan sumber, kesadaran literasi rendah, penggunaan sumber belajar tidak efektif, guru belum menggunakan modul. Penelitian ini penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas E4. Instrumen penelitian yaitu modul pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning dan tes unjuk kerja. Teknik pengumpulan data pertama, siswa belajar menggunakan modul. Kedua, siswa mengerjakan tes unjuk kerja. Data dianalisis dengan langkah berikut; memeriksa teks biografi., memberi skor teks biografi sesuai indikator, mengubah skor menjadi nilai, memasukan nilai ke tabel distribusi frekuensi, menentukan rata-rata hitung, mengklasisfikasikan nilai berdasarkan skala 10, menampailkan data dalam bentuk histogram, membahas dan menyimpulkan hasil penelitian. Hasil belajar menulis teks biografi menggunakan modul tergolong ke dalam klasifikasi baik sekali dengan rata-rata 89,66 pada rentangan 86-95%.

Abstract

This article examines the types of questions used by judges in the legal process at the District Court, especially in criminal case involving five police officers in Indonesia of murder case. The trial took five months, from September 2022 to March 2023. one of the reasons for the length of the trial process was because the defendant did not honestly provided information and statements. The judge as the interrogator must have interrogation skills so that the evidence and statements from witnesses can prove that the defendant committed the crime. This research is qualitative research with a case study method. The criminal case for the murder of Joshua Hutabarat was used as a data source and the judge's speech with the defendant during the trial was used as data. There were three trial videos analyzed, namely the judge's speech with the defendant Ferdi Sambo, the judge with Richard Eliezer and the judge with Putri Candrawinata. Data collection uses recording and recording techniques as well as documentation. The results of the research explain that the tendency of the question patterns given by judges is 385 open questions and 260 closed questions. Based on these findings, it was concluded that the judge asked questions using an open, productive pattern of questions to seek evidence/information regarding the truth of the perpetrator's involvement. However, for some purposes, such as emphasizing information from videos or documents, judges tend to ask questions using a closed question pattern. The questions given only provide yes/no answer choices from the defendant.

Abstract

This study investigates the emotional reception of readers towards election-themed poetry by Goenawan Mohamad. It aims to describe the emotional responses elicited by these poems, focusing on the impact of abstract words and figurative language. This literary reception research adopts a synchronic approach using the mixed method. Data were collected from questionnaires distributed to selected respondents and then analysed qualitatively to find meaning.The findings reveal that the use of abstract words and various figures of speech (simile, personification, allegory, litotes, rhetoric, metaphor, and assonance) plays a significant role in shaping the emotional reader. Poetry of Goenawan Mohamad are representing of  loss and anxiety.

Abstract

 Through the affixation process, it can be seen how the grammatical process of a basic word or basic form is. The aim of this research is to describe the forms of affixation errors, namely prefixes, infixes, suffixes, confixes on the online news portal langgam.id. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data source for this research is the online news portal langgam.id. Data obtained from online news langgam.id. The data collection technique used was the free-to-read, involved listening method using note-taking techniques.The data validation technique is the data triangulation technique, namely the theory and investigator triangulation technique. The data analysis technique used in this research used the intralingual matching method. Based on the results of research carried out on the online news portal langgam.id, it turns out that there are still errors in the language of the affixation process, namely prefixes and confixes. The results show that there is an error in the affixation process in the langgam.id online news which is taken from several news stories as data sources. The most common errors found are errors in the confix affixation process, namely confix errors that are written incorrectly according to the applicable language rules.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan konflik sosial realistis dan nonrealistis dalam naskah Senja Dengan Dua Kematian karya Kirdjomuljo. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada bentuk Konflik Sosial Dalam Naskah Drama Senja Dengan Dua Kematian Karya Kirdjomuljo: Tinjauan Sosiologi Sastra Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata-kata, kalimat dan dialog yang terdapat konflik sosial dalam naskah drama Senja Dengan Dua Kematian karya Kirdjomuljo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, (1) membaca dan memahami naskah drama Senja Dengan Dua Kematian karya Kirdjomuljo, (2) mencatat dan menandai data-data yang berhubungan dengan konflik sosial dalam naskah drama Senja Dengan Dua Kematian karya Kirdjomuljo, (3) mengklasifikasikan data yang berhubungan dengan konflik sosial dalam naskah drama Senja Dengan Dua Kematian karya Kirdjomuljo. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 30 kutipan data konflik sosial yang ditemukan dalam Naskah Drama Senja Dengan Dua Kematian Karya Kirdjomuljo, yaitu 2 kutipan data konflik sosial realistis hostile feeling, 18 data kutipan konflik sosial realistis hostile behaviour, dan 10 kutipan data konflik sosial nonrealistis dalam Naskah Drama Senja Dengan Dua Kematian Karya Kirdjomuljo.
