Abstract

The purposes of this article are, among others, to describe and analyze the professional competence of teachers and the principal's strategy in increasing professionalism in the Primaganda Jombang High School. To achieve the above objectives, this research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research conducted by the author indicate that (1) the principal in improving the professional competence of teachers at the Primaganda High School Jombang is collaborative strategy, it is proven that the principal at the Primaganda Jombang High School feels good changes to the teachers at the Primaganda High School Jombang and the students. students who are recognized by the school environment compared to the previous leadership, (2) the principal can provide solutions that are acceptable to the teacher and make decisions in taking solutions to the teacher's problems. Compared to the previous year's leadership, the current leadership is much better than the 2018/2019 school year until now, (3) To carry out his strategy the principal must make teachers able to express complaints that can hinder the teaching and learning process. As is the case when teachers complain about their limitations in IT. The principal immediately provided a solution with computer courses for teachers at the Jombang Primaganda High School and brought in tutors from outside. With the computer course, the principal has carried out one of his strategies in improving the professional competence of teachers at the Primaganda High School Jombang

Abstract

An organization of good governance should have the motivation of employees with high job of work and discipline. If employees work well in accordance with the ability and motivation work influenced by their skills and responsible for his job as a form of discipline work and an organization that will be able to more developed ease the achievement of the purpose of the organization. The purpose of this study are (1) the correlation between work motivation with employee performance, (2) the correlation between work discipline with employee performance, (3) the correlation between work motivation and work discipline with the performance of employees in educational department of mojokerto.A method in this research was used a quantitative approach. The techniques to take data collection here is closed questionnaires and Data processing techniques uses correlation product moment test and multiple correlation with the significant level of 5% to know is there any relationship between the variables or not. The result showed that (1) it is proved that there is correlation between work motivation and performance of employees with a correlation coefficient of 0.792, (2) there is a correlation between the work discipline with employee performance with a correlation coefficient of 0.981, (3) there is a correlation between work motivation and work discipline with the employee's performance with a correlation coefficient of 0.981. Based on the analysis of the data above it can be concluded that there are correlation between work motivation and work discipline with the employees performance in educational department of mojokerto.

Abstract

Keberhasilan manajemen kepala sekolah dan sistem bimbingan wali asrama terhadap peningkatan prestasi siswa sangat penting diteliti terutama di sekolah berbasis pesantren seperti MTs Unggulan Amanatul Ummah Mojokerto yang memiliki prestasi melimpah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi manajemen kepala sekolah dan sistem bimbingan wali asrama dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa. Studi yang telah dilakukan adalah studi lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi sedangkan analisis data menggunakan metode Miles and Huberman yang meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data (display) dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Keabsahan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik Triangulasi data. Hasil yang diperoleh dari data-data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kepala sekolah yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi terbukti berhasil dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa MTs Unggulan Amanatul Ummah. Selain itu, sistem bimbingan wali asrama baik perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi juga efektif dalam rangka meningkatkan prestasi siswa/santri MTs Unggulan Amanatul Ummah. Namun, khusus pada penyediaan sarana sekolah, ditemukan adanya sarana yang masih belum sepenuhnya memadai berupa ketiadaan kelas khusus untuk pembelajaran olimpiade. Walau demikian, ianya tidak mempengaruhi pencapaian prestasi siswa dengan adanya kecemerlangan manajemen kepala sekolah dan sistem bimbingan wali asrama dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa MTs Unggulan Amanatul Ummah.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the competency management of graduates at MBI Amanatul Ummah Mojokerto. The research method that has been used is qualitative with a case study approach. Retrieval techniques and observation, interviews and documentation. Competency Management Graduates at MBI Amanatul Ummah Pacet Mojokerto, the researchers concluded, a) Conducted selection based on general ability, b.) tested with their religious knowledge, c.) tested for formal competence in mathematics, physics, biology, English and psychological tests, d.) matriculation for equalizing Arabic, English, writing pegon letters and making Olympic classes for class 10 f.) special class 11-12, in class 12 it is focused on foreign classes, official class, and UTBK class for domestic.

Abstract

Management of student recruitment is an arrangement or arrangement of all processes to get potential potential students in accordance with the provisions to enter at a certain level of education. Management of the recruitment of new students is a must in the process of selecting potential students, so that students can take part in madrasa programs and have a high level of success, especially success in improving the quality of Al-Quran reading and writing. To find out about this, researchers conducted research on the success tips of MTs Diponegoro in improving the reading and writing quality of the Koran. The focus of the problem in this study is how to manage the recruitment of new students in improving the reading and writing quality of the Koran at MTs Diponegoro Plandaan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data that has been obtained by the researcher will be analyzed qualitatively and described according to the results of the data that have been obtained. The data taken were PPDB 2021 activities and the results of learning to read and write the Koran for seventh grade students for one semester. The results of this study reveal that the efforts of MTs Diponegoro Plandaan Jombang in improving the reading and writing quality of the Koran, namely by organizing management in recruiting new students with various strategies and innovations and providing teachers according to educational qualifications, and using the At Tartil learning method in learning to read and write Al Qur'an by grouping teaching activities to facilitate coaching so that students are able to fulfill several indicators for each level with the assessment standards set by MTs Diponegoro Plandaan Jombang so as to produce quality graduates, especially the quality of reading and writing the Koran. Among the assessment standards set by MTs Diponegoro Plandaan to determine the quality of Al-Quran reading and writing in their madrasah is that students can read the Al-Quran correctly and fluently according to the rules of tajwid science and can correct wrong readings and can write Al-Quran letters (hijaiyah) correctly and neat or at least the writing is clear when read

Abstract

This article aims to find out the leadership pattern of Ibu Nyai in the Darut Thayyibah Islamic boarding school and how the role of Ibu Nyai in the social environment of the community around the Islamic Boarding School is. The research used was qualitative with a descriptive qualitative research approach. The type of research used was ethnographic research using themethod life history in the data collection process. Data collection techniques through interview observations, and documentation, data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are: 1) Nyai Hj. Kholidah Thayyibah has an individual leadership pattern and a transformational leadership pattern using a contingency leadership style, 2) Apart from being a pesantren caregiver, Ibu Nyai is also active in various organizations, assemblies and as a female community leader who has a large enough mass base.

Abstract

Strategi pengelolaan Pondok Pesantren dilakukan karena pondok pesantren mempunyai tantangan perkembangan zaman dan persaingan lembaga pendidikan negeri maupun swasta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui strategi Kyai Imam Mukhtar dalam mengelola pondok pesantren yang meliputi: 1) Rumusan strategi kyai Imam Muktar dalam mengelola pondok pesantren, 2) Evaluasi strategi kyai Imam Muktar dalam mengelola pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, Strategi Kyai Imam Mukhtar Dalam Mengelola Pondok Pesantren dengan perencanaan program yang meliputi: a) Rumusan Visi, dalam mencetuskan sebuah visi pondok pesantren b) Rumusan Misi, meiliputi misi, sasaran strategi dan indikator sasaran strategi yang digunakan sebagai pedoman untuk mencapai visi. c) Analisis lingkungan eksternal dan internal. Kedua, Evaluasi Strategi Kyai Imam Mukhtar Dalam Mengelola Pondok Pesantren yaitu dengan tiga tahap meliputi: a) Pengawasan secara lansung, b) Pelaksanaan evaluasi rutin dan c) Evaluasi hasil.

Abstract

The focus of this research (1) is to find out the marketing strategy management and (2) to find the supporting and inhibiting factors of the marketing of Firdaus Islamic Boarding Schools in the Muslim-minority area of ??Jembrana Bali. The qualitative research method used a case study approach—data collection by observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis consists of data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The research results conclude that: (1) The Marketing Strategy of Islamic Boarding Schools is carried out with three aspects: marketing planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning is carried out before the distribution activities by involving all internal institutions. Marketing implementation is based on seven aspects: product, price, place, promotion, human resources, infrastructure, and service process. Marketing evaluation is carried out monthly, quarterly, and annually. (2) Supporting factors, namely the location of the cottage, which is in a Muslim minority area, making the institution quickly recognized by the public, the location on the outskirts of the city, and the area of ??the cottage, adequate facilities. There is much support from the Balinese Muslim community and the close ties of tolerance with the non-Muslim Balinese community, the flagship program created. The inhibiting factors are significant competition for Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Java and Bali. There is still a public perception that the price to enter the pesantren is expensive, and there are no experts in the field of marketing to manage marketing specifically. Fokus penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui manajemen strategi pemasaran dan (2) untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat pemasaran Pondok Pesantren Firdaus di wilayah minoritas Muslim Jembrana Bali. Metode penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus—pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi, display, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) Strategi Pemasaran Pondok Pesantren dilakukan dengan tiga aspek yaitu perencanaan pemasaran, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Perencanaan dilakukan sebelum kegiatan penyaluran dengan melibatkan seluruh institusi internal. Implementasi pemasaran didasarkan pada tujuh aspek: produk, harga, tempat, promosi, sumber daya manusia, infrastruktur, dan proses layanan. Evaluasi pemasaran dilakukan secara bulanan, triwulanan, dan tahunan. (2) Faktor pendukung yaitu letak pondok yang berada di kawasan minoritas muslim sehingga lembaga cepat dikenal oleh masyarakat, letak di pinggiran kota, dan luas pondok, fasilitas yang memadai. Banyaknya dukungan dari masyarakat muslim Bali dan eratnya ikatan toleransi dengan masyarakat Bali non muslim, program unggulan yang dibuat. Faktor penghambatnya adalah persaingan yang signifikan untuk pesantren di Jawa dan Bali. Masih ada anggapan masyarakat bahwa harga masuk pesantren mahal, dan belum ada ahli di bidang pemasaran untuk mengelola pemasaran secara khusus.
