Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on design skills and student achievement of SMK Negeri 4 in Bengkulu City. The type of research conducted is quantitative research with quasi-experimental research methods (quasi-experimental), the research design used is quasi- experimental. The population in this study were students of SMKN 4 in Bengkulu City in class XI of Software Engineering (RPL) expertise. The sample used by the author is probability sampling XI RPL 1 and XI RPL 2. Testing the hypothesis using two-way ANOVA analysis and t-test. Based on the analysis obtained, it can be concluded that (1) the learning achievement of the group of students who use the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model is higher than the students who use the conventional learning model, (2) the learning design skills of students who use the Project Based Learning learning model (PjBL) is higher than the group of students who use conventional learning models. It is shown by the difference in the average design skills and student achievement using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model and the Conventional Learning Model.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using web-based learning models on student achievement in social studies subjects grade 8 junior high school of SMP Swasta Sint Carolus Bengkulu. The implementation of research is carried out in the first semester of the school year 2020/2021, and the implementation time is adjusted to the time allocation for the delivery of the 8th grade social sience subject matter “Geographical Conditions Of ASEAN Countries”. The study used an experimental method with a two-way ANOVA factorial design. The population in this study were students of class VIII as many as 119 students consisting of four classes. The sample in this study were students of class VIIID as the experimental class totaling 18 students and class VIIIC as the control class totaling 18 students. Conclusion from this research include: 1) Student achievement using the google earth application learning media is higher than using a map. 2) High learning activity student achievement is better than low learning activity student. 3) There is no significant interaction between web-based learnig media and activity on student achievement

Abstract

The study aims to ascertain three things: (1) the difference in learning achievement in history between students using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model and students using the Studen Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) model; (2) the impact of high and low discipline on learning achievement; and (3) the possibility of an interaction between cooperative learning models and discipline on history learning achievement. This study employed experimental research as its research methodology. The 2023–2024 academic year saw the conducting of this study at SMAN 11 North Bengkulu and SMAN 13 North Bengkulu. The XI social studies classes made up the study's population. Two groups were chosen at random to serve as research samples: one was the treatment group, which I taught using Jigsaw-style instruction, and the other used Studen Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) instruction. This study employed a 2x2 factorial ANOVA research design. The application of Jigsaw and Studen Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) has an impact on student learning achievement. High and low discipline have an impact on history learning achievement. Cooperative learning models and discipline have an impact on history learning achievement. These are the study's findings.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the writing and speaking abilities of seventh-grade students at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City as well as the effectiveness of applying the social simulation learning model to improve the writing and speaking abilities of seventh-grade students in English subjects at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City. The study used a quasi-experiment and classroom action research design. Twenty males and forty girls, totaling sixty pupils in the seventh grade at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City, served as the subjects of the class action research. All seventh grade pupils of SMPN 3 Bengkulu City made up the population of the experimental study. Class VII.1 (the experimental class) and class VII.2 (the control class) were the study's samples. Thirty students made up the experimental class, which included thirteen males and seventeen girls, and thirty students from the control class, which included sixteen boys and fourteen girls. The study's findings indicate that: using the social simulation learning model at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City in the 2023–2024 academic year has implications for improving students' speaking skills; using the social simulation learning model at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City in the 2023–2024 academic year has implications for improving students' writing skills; and using the social simulation model is effective for improving students' speaking and writing skills at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City in the 2023–2024 academic year because the results of the students' cognitive assessment have significantly increased.
