Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability to open and close learning skills possessed by PGSD students in the 6th semester of class B for the academic year 2020/2021 in micro learning courses. To achieve the research objectives, the researchers carried out activities through three stages, namely the planning stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage and used quantitative research methods with an ex post facto approach. The first stage is planning, in the planning stage students make a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) which they will use in micro learning courses. Next is the implementation stage, students carry out teaching simulations using the lesson plans that have been made which are practiced in micro classes. The last stage is evaluation, when one student comes forward to conduct a teaching simulation, the other students give an assessment of the simulation using a questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis, the average value of opening and closing learning skills possessed by PGSD students in the 6th semester of the 2020/2021 academic year in micro learning courses is categorized as quite good. So, it can be concluded that the skills possessed by 6th semester PGSD students are included in the good category in each skill. As a study recommendation, in opening and closing learning activities, students need to prepare students psychologically and physically and convey the competencies, indicators, and benefits of learning materials as a whole. Then, in closing activities, students need to evaluate the entire series of learning activities, conclude learning outcomes, and determine follow-up on learning outcomes.
