Abstract

Sastra bagian dari ciptaan manusia yang melibatkan aspek nilai rasa /ide yang terdapat dalam benaknya dengan memanfaatkan bahasa sebagai alatnya. Di dalan sastra tidak hanya terdapat tulisan yang bersifat menghibur, tetapi ternyata terdapat makna yang sangat mendalam dan bisa menambah pengalaman kehidupan manusia. Pengetahuan pada karya sastra tidak hanya di pahami dari unsur intrinsik tetapi juga di pahami dari segi ekstrinsik. Semua yang terjadi pada karya sastra bias juga terjadi dalam dunia nyata. Begitu pula pencitraan puisi dalam menikmatinya ada beberapa indra perasa yang dipakai dalam buku antologi puisi” Mengagumi dalam Diam “ Puisi karya siswa SMP 43. Peneliti menganalisis pencitraan didalam puisi tersebut untuk lebih memahami dan menikmati puisi.

Abstract

Bahasa memiliki peranan yang sangat fundamental pada kehidupan seseorang. Tanpa bahasa seseorang akan sangat kesulitan dalam menyampaikan ide, pendapat, gagasan, bahkan perasaan pada orang lain baik dalam bentuk verbal maupun non verbal. Usia dini merupakan masa potensial (golden age) dalam perkembangan bahasa, oleh sebab itu usia dini merupakan masa yang paling tepat dalam mengajarkan bahasa pada anak karena termasuk dalam periode tumbuh kembang anak. Pentingnya kemampuan bahasa sejak dini mengharuskan adanya upaya dalam pemaksimalan pembelajaran bahasa sejak dini khususnya pada masa prasekolah anak. Media pop-up book dapat menjadi alternatif media dalam memaksimalkan kemampuan bahasa anak sejak usia prasekolah. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa penggunaan POP-UP BOOK dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak prasekolah. Meningkatnya kemampuan berbahasa anak usia prasekolah berdasarkan nilai thitung pada output menunjukkan angka 13,582 ini berarti terjadi Peningkatan. Dengan db = n – 1 diperoleh db =19 pada taraf signifikan 5% maka didapatkan ttabel =2,093 Dari hasil korelasi antara pretest dengan posttest, menghasilkan angka korelasi 0,913 dengan nilai probalibilitas di bawah 0,05 (nilai signifikan output analisis 0.000). Hal ini menyatakan bahwa korelasi antara rata-rata pretest dengan rata-rata posttest kemampuan berbahasa anak usia prasekolah adalah kuat dan signifikan

Abstract

The research was conducted to describe students’ activities in reading comprehension classroom, especially in learning narrative text. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research. To collect the data, observation, interview, and test were employed to gather the data of students’ activities in learning narrative text within reading comprehension class. Data from observation and interview were analyzed descriptively, while data from test were first calculated to find the mean of the score, then they were used to analyzed the minimum criteria of achivement (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimun/ KKM). Based on the observation, it yielded that the student activities in learning narrative text were 1) identifying difficult vocabulary, 2) translating the vocabulary over dictionary, 3) asking teachers or peers to comprehend meaning, 4) writing the correction in the paper, 5) reviewing initial analysis, 6) asking teachers or peers for main ideas and supporting detail, 7) giving overall corrections, and 8) summarizing. Furthermore, the test result showed that the student's scores are different from other students such as five students getting a good score, twelve students getting enough score, and three students getting less score. The students' average score of reading is 73,75 which was above KKM. The interview result discovered that most of them thought that the eight reading activities above gave much influences on students understanding on reading narrative texts and their ability in completing the test. The research conclusion was the eight reading activities found were relevant because most students’ reading comprehension were above KKM.

Abstract

The novel “Hujan” by Tere Liye is a literary work that combines elements of science fiction with the theme of love and struggle. The story is set between 2042 and 2050, where the world experiences a terrible natural disaster due to a volcanic eruption that results in a depopulation of the human population. The main character, Lail, is a girl who loses both of her parents due to the disaster and meets Esok, a young man who saves her. The purpose of this study is to analyze the word rain in Tere Liye's novel Hujan. The author uses a qualitative method with the data used being the novel Hujan by Tere Liye. In this novel, the word hujan is not just a natural phenomenon, but a symbol rich in meaning and emotion. In this novel, hujan functions to describe various themes such as loss, love, friendship, and the main character's life struggles. Hujan has a deep representation both in terms of physicality and mood. Physically, rain describes extreme climate change due to natural disasters, such as an ancient volcanic eruption that causes a volcanic winter. Rain reflects the emotions and journeys of the main characters, Lail and Esok. Rain is often associated with feelings of sadness, loss, and hope. The representation of rain in this novel not only functions as a physical element, but also as a tool to describe the emotional dynamics between characters and criticism of the environmental conditions faced by humanity.
