Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made children even more interested in playing gadgets. The purpose of this community service activity is to reduce and change the dependence of early childhood on modern games, especially games on gadgets or smartphones. The method used was Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) by involving the Bait Kata community to design the concept of a literacy village, Karang Taruna to help socialize activities, and Dasa Wisma group to design UMKM and tourism awareness groups in Tebel Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. This community service activity develops the concept of learning and playing traditional games in one place that is integrated between playing, learning and becoming a center for educational tourism for children. The expected output targets include making the literacy village a center for children's educational tourism in Sidoarjo and improving the welfare of the surrounding community through educational tours. The result achieved in this program is the establishment of a reading terrace where children learn various knowledge from textbook and novel sources to foster children's interest in reading and writing, as well as traditional games such as stilts, clogs, and congklak (a playing board with two parallel rows of circular depression) that train interaction, cooperation, empathy, and children’abilities at mathematics. For the surrounding community, this service has helped empower the community's economy through UMKM in the field of traditional games and food called Kampung Literasi culinary corner. Teras Baca and UMKM center have been integrated and are ready to become an educational tourism destination of Kampung Literasi Tebel Barat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of spacing and application of manure on the production of Red Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.). The research was carried out in three months, from April to June 2021. This research was carried out using a factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK). Namely, the first factor is the spacing between (i) 20 x 10 cm (J1); (ii) 20 x 20 cm (J2); 20 x 30 cm (J3). The second factor includes (i) 0 ton/hectare (D1); (ii) 5 tons/ha (D2); (iii) 10 tons/ha (D3). Produced 9 treatment combinations and each was repeated 3 times resulting in 27 experimental units. The variables in this study were plant length, number of leaves, flower wet weight and flower dry weight. The data in this study used analysis of variance (ANOVA) if there was a significant difference, then the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test was continued at the 5% confidence level. The results showed that there was a significant interaction on the observed variables of plant growth, namely plant height at 41 DAP. In the observation variable the number of leaves there was a significant interaction at the age of 34 DAP and a very significant effect on the spacing treatment at 41 DAP and 48 DAP. However, the observation of plant production showed no significant response to the wet weight of flowers and dry weight of flowers.

Abstract

This study attempts to influence some kind of mengtahui ZPT on the growth of mulberry ( Morus alba L. ). The study is done for 2 months and November 2018 until January 2019. The research was done in Perum Mutiara Citra Asri Blok D4 no 4. This study using the random complete (RAL). That is the single factor concentration ZPT consisting of treatment 8 and each doses 2cc and 3cc covering ZPT chemical; extract onion; extract bean sprouts; excrescence bananas with three times repeat. Observation in this research include, time to germinate, long shoots, number of leaves, the number of roots, long roots, broad leaves, wet weight, and dry weights. Data analysis using anova followed by the BNJ 5%. The results of the study kind of natural and chemical ZPT influential on the growth of graft stems mulberry in treatment time to germinate, the number of shoots, long shoots, and number of leaves, but gave no the effect on treatment broad leaves, the number of roots, long roots, wet weight and weights dry.

Abstract

Aim of this experiment was to study the effect of highness and type of shade material within interaction between highness and types of shade material nurserytowards big red chili vigor (C. annum L.). This research was conducted on February-March 2012 district Turirejo, Cangkringmalang, Beji, Pasuruan denan with the highness of 9 m dpl, pH 5-6, temperature at 30oC, rainfall 420 mL/tahun. This research was design by factorial in Randomized Block Design (RBD), which were run triplicate. The first factor were shade 65, 95 dan 125 cm and the second factor were the type of plastic nursery shade material, paranet and (plastic + paranet). The data showed that was interaction between highness and types of shade material nurseryon parameter of highness, cotyledons emergence time, length of leaf, amount of leaf, diameter rod, the number of nodes grows and plant fresh weight. The combined height 65cm shade and shade types of materials (plastics + paranet) was the best treatment while it was not significantly different to the other treatments.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Intensitas Penyiangan DanPemupukan terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Bawang Merah. dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2022- bulan Juni 2022 di Desa Jiken Kecamatan Tulangan, Sidoarjo menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) di susun secara faktorial, terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu faktorpertama intensitas penyiangan dengan tiga taraf yaitu penyiangan 1 kali , penyiangan 2 kali, dan penyiangan 3 kali sedangkan faktor kedua dengan tiga taraf intensitas pemupukan yaitupemupukan 1 kali , pemupukan 2 kali, dan pemupukan 3 kali. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Panjang Tanaman (cm), Jumlah daun (helai), Berat Basah (gram),berat kering (gram) dan jumlah umbi. Data di analisis menggunakan analisis ragam (anova) jika terjadi pengaruh dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadi interaksi yang nyata pada kombinasi intensitas penyiangan danintensitas pemupukan terhadap jumlah daun sedangkan intensitas penyiangan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap variabel berat basah dan jumlah umbi bahwa intesitas penyiangan 3 kalimemberikan hasil maksimal namun tidak signifikan 2 kali penyiangan dan intensitas pemupukan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap berat kering dengan intesitas pemupukan 3 kali memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan maupun produksi bawang merah.menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi interaksi pada parameter pengamatan (panjang tanaman, berat basah umbi, berat kering umbi dan jumlah umbi). Pada variabel panjang tanamantertinggi bawang merah 28.03 cm, jumlah daun 26.89 helai, berat basah umbi per rumpun 26.93 gram, berat kering umbi per rumpun dengan daun 40.33 gr, berat kering umbi perrumpun tanpa daun 25.41 gram Kata kunci : penyiangan, pemupukan, bawang merah

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how to increase the production of mustard pakchoy on the provision of AB mix nutrition and growth regulators in the hydroponic system of the axis. This study was conducted from January to March 2022. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK), namely the first factor was the dose of AB mix nutrition which consisted of three levels, namely 25%; 50%; 75% and 100%. The second factor is the concentration of growth regulators consisting of three levels, namely 1cc, 2cc and 3cc. The total treatment combination resulted in 12 treatment combinations. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to produce 36 experimental units. Observation variables include plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, wet weight and dry weight of the plant. The results showed that there was a significant interaction on the observed variables of wet weight, dry weight and number of leaves at the age of observation 7 and 21 days after planting and stem diameter at the age of 7 days after planting. The observation of plant height did not provide a significant interaction but each treatment gave a significant response at the age of 21 and 35 days after planting. The dose of ZPT 2cc gave the highest value for the variable plant height at the age of observation 21 and 35 days after planting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of goat manure on the growth and yield of basil plants. This research was carried out on campus land, Modong Village, Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency from December 2022 to February 20223. This study used a Group Randomized Design (RAK) with a single fak tor, namely fermented goat shrimp solid fertilizer consisting of 7 treatments, namely: 10 tons / ha, 12.5 tons / ha, 15 tons / ha, 17.5 tons / ha, 20 tons / ha, 22.5 tons / h a , 25 tons / ha. Data analysis uses variant analysis (Anova) and if there is a difference, further tests of Honest Real Difference (BNJ) 5% and 1% are carried out. From the observations, the results showed a real effect on the observation of plant height aged 7 HST in P7 treatment and crop index measurement in P4 treatment and also had a very real effect on measuring the wet weight of plants in P3 treatment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk daun Gandasil D terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada krtiting hijau. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Lahan Desa Modong, Kecamatan Tulangan Sidoarjo yang dimulai pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok pola non factorial dengan 7 perlakuan yang diulang 3 kali. Perlakuan tersebut diantaranya adalah Pupuk gandasil D G1 : 0,5 gr/l air, G2: 1 gr/l air, G3: 1,5 gr/l air, G4: 2 gr/l air, G5: 2,5 gr/l air, G6: 3 gr/l air, G7: 3,5 gr/l air. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, berat basah dan berat kering. Data yang telah didapat kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (annova) kemudian jika terdapat pengaruh yang nyata dan sangat nyata maka dilakukan uji Beda Nyata Jujur taraf 5% dan 1%. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pemberian pupuk daun Gandasil D memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap Tinggi tanaman dan Berat Kering, memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap berat basah sedangkan pada variabel jumlah daun dan panjang akar pemberian perlakuan tidak bepengaruh nyata namun dikasilkan jumlah daun paling banyak pada perlakuan G7 dengan jumlah 15,33 serta panjang akar terpanjang pada G7 yaitu 16,00 helai. Kata Kunci : Selada, Pupuk Daun, Gandasil D.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh air cucian beras terhadap pertumbuhan serta hasil tanaman terong ungu dan dosis air cucian beras yang tepat untuk menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terong ungu tertinggi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Lahan Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo yang berada di Perumahan Graha Pesona Modong, Tulangan, Sidoarjo. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini menggunakan metode percobaan lapangan dengan pola Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas satu faktor percobaan dan terdiri dari tujuh taraf perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Taraf perlakuan terdiri dari 100 ml/liter air, 150 ml/liter air, 200 ml/liter air, 250 ml/liter air, 300 ml/liter air, 350 ml/liter air, 400 ml/liter air. Parameter pengamatan berupa tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah buah, panjang akar, dan berat buah tanaman. Semua data kuantitatif dari hasil pengamatan diolah menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA) jika terdapat perbedaan yang nyata atau sangat nyata dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian pupuk organik cair air cucian beras tidak berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah buah, tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun, berat buah, dan panjang akar. Dosis poc air cucian beras yang menghasilkan berat buah tertinggi adalah 300 ml. Dosis poc air cucian beras yang menghasilkan panjang akar tertinggi adalah 200ml. Kata kunci : air cucian beras, terong ungu.
