Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai media intervening.Penelitian ini dilakukan di hotel The Patra Bali Resort & Villas di wilayah Kuta, Kabupaten Badung. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu pegawai tetap sebanyak 62 responden dengan probability sampling dan menggunakan sampling acak Stratified Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara dan arsip. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis jalur (Path Analysis) dengan program SPSS 17.0 for windows. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan serta kepuasan kerja mampu sebagai variabel intervening atau memediasi hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of interest rates, leverage, profitability, and liquidity. This research was conducted at the Indonesia Stock Exchange in Banking Sector companies. The research design used in this study is quantitative. The sample uses the Purposive Sampling formula, namely 30 issuers, which are included in the banking sector companies that go public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with an observation period of 3 (three) years from 2018 to 2020, so the amount of data used is 90 data. The analysis technique in this study used descriptive-comparative statistics, namely: the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and the goodness of fit test. The results of the analysis show that 1) the interest rate has no effect on stock returns. 2) leverage has a positive and significant effect on stock returns. 3) profitability has a positive and significant effect on stock returns. 4) liquidity has a positive and significant effect on stock returns. This research provides considerations to investors in investing in the Indonesia Stock Exchange, especially in the banking sector.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management strategies in preparing culinary students at the Akademi Komunitas MAPINDO to become competent professionals in the culinary industry. The research focuses on how OHS management strategies are implemented in the culinary education curriculum and their impact on students’ job readiness in the culinary sector. This study employs a mixed-methods approach by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with instructors and culinary industry practitioners to understand the application of OHS strategies in teaching. Quantitative data were obtained through surveys involving culinary students to assess their perceptions of OHS training and its influence on their job readiness. The findings show that the OHS management strategies applied at the Akademi Komunitas MAPINDO significantly contribute to preparing culinary students with the necessary skills to face risks in industrial kitchen environments. Students reported an improved understanding of safety procedures and practical risk-handling skills. Additionally, collaboration between educational institutions and the culinary industry was found to enhance the relevance of the OHS curriculum. This research highlights the importance of OHS management strategies in culinary education, demonstrating that effective integration of OHS into the curriculum can improve students' job readiness and minimize risks in professional kitchen settings. These findings offer valuable insights for curriculum development in culinary education institutions and for safety management practices in the culinary industry.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of training and competency on employee performance, with employee engagement serving as a mediating factor at the Tugu Bali Hotel. The study's population consists of 103 employees of the Tugu Bali Hotel, selected using the probability sampling method. Path analysis was employed to test the research hypotheses. The findings reveal that: 1) Training has a positive and significant impact on employee engagement at the Tugu Bali Hotel; 2) Competency has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement at the Tugu Bali Hotel; 3) Training positively and significantly affects employee performance at the Tugu Bali Hotel; 4) Competency positively influences employee performance at the Tugu Bali Hotel; 5) Employee engagement positively affects employee performance at the Tugu Bali Hotel; 6) Employee engagement serves as a mediating variable in the relationship between training and employee performance at the Tugu Bali Hotel; and 7) Employee engagement acts as a mediating variable in the connection between competency and employee performance at the Tugu Bali Hotel. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the management of the Tugu Bali Hotel focus on enhancing employee training, competency, and engagement to boost overall employee performance.
