Abstract

Research aimed at explaining the enhancement of teachers' pedagogical competence through Information and Communication Technologies using qualitative methods with a literature review approach. Data was gathered through relevant literature to grasp the concepts, theories, and information and Communication Technologies practices in education. Data processing techniques involved data reduction, presentation, and triangulation of sources to validate research findings. The research results indicate that enhancing pedagogical competence through Information and Communication is crucial for optimizing learning. Teachers need to master learning management that considers individual student needs, designs and implements effective teaching methods and systematically evaluates learning outcomes. On the other hand, information and Communication Technologies encompass technologies such as computers, the internet, and audiovisual media that support communication and information distribution. Strategies to achieve these goals include teacher training to understand student characteristics in the technology era, developing technology-integrated curricula, and providing educational infrastructure that supports efficient access and communication.

Abstract

Knowledge is the result of human knowledge to understand an object they encounter, as a result of efforts to understand a particular object. Discussing knowledge is always linked to epistomology, which is a branch of philosophy that discusses the occurrence of knowledge, sources of knowledge, origins of knowledge, boundaries, nature, methods and validity of knowledge. The measure of truth as a process of validity of knowledge. Epistomologically, truth is the correspondence between what is claimed to be known and the actual reality which is the object of knowledge. Truth lies in the correspondence between subject and object, namely what the subject knows and reality as it is. There are four theories of truth; 1) correspondence theory, 2) Coherence theory, 3) pragmatic theory, 4) religious truth.

Abstract

Kegiatan bertujuan membuka ruang diskusi bagi para guru, khususnya guru Pendidikan anak usia dini dan guru sekolah dasar untuk menyampaikan gagasan dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan edukasi dengan teknik seminar dan curah pendapat serta diskusi selama 180 menit, dengan peserta 58 guru (PAUD/SD) dari Pulau Harapan dan Pulau Kelapa, Kepulauan Seribu. Pengabdian ini diinisiasi oleh Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah INSIDA bekerjasama dengan Suku Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Administrasi Kepulauan Seribu. Proses seminar dan edukasi berjalan sangat dinamis dengan interaksi dan partisipasi aktif hampir seluruh peserta. Seminar membahas peningkatan kompetensi guru abad 21 yang difokuskan bagi para guru PAUD dan guru SD. Pasca kegiatan masih banyak para guru yang melanjutkan diskusi, jadi sangat direkomendasikan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan serupa secara periodik agar menjawab keingintahuan para guru dalam mengikuti perkembangan era teknologi di abad 21.

Abstract

Democratic values ??in higher education can be implemented through various means, such as participatory, interactive, and collaborative learning, applying the principles of deliberation and mutual respect within organizations, active involvement in student activities, and increasing democratic literacy through effective civics education. All of this is intended to shape students who are critical, possess integrity, and are responsible for their social and national lives. The purpose of this research, regarding the implementation of democratic values ??in civics courses at universities in general and specifically at the Insida Islamic Education College, encompasses both academic and practical aspects essential for developing students as responsible and character-based citizens. The research data was collected from daily observations of teaching civics courses and interviews with several students who have or are currently taking the course.
